Paid for “clean” install of central air unit in 2021. There are still unrepaired saw marks on my ceiling from the install. He also left a bunch of extra vents and other parts in our garage for weeks after saying they would be there for only a day or two. Rozay had also offered to install an easy extension on our boiler vent but ghosted repeatedly saying the part wasn’t in, then he had an eye issue, then Covid, then a chihuahua died (not joking), and so on until it was clear it wasn’t happening. He also did not get proper permitting initially despite multiple requests. He said he didn’t want our “tax evaluation” to increase. He had to get a different electrician to sign the permit than the one who did the work. Since then, the evaporator coil on the unit had broken twice because he chooses cheap units to install. The drain pan is almost always full of water because it was installed poorly with no gravity to aid it drain. Do give this company any business!!!!

This unit had been serviced every year, just not by this hack. Several technicians from several companies have all remarked on the poor quality of the install.

It was brought to his immediate attention to fix the cosmetic damage but he wanted to wait until the phantom part came in. Another company did the extension within an hour with standard, widely available equipment.

You are being misleading in the permitting. The electrician who eventually signed off on the work after forcing you to pay him to get it to code even told us he would never work with you again. The initial work by the other electrician was not up to code. We were only able to FORCE you to get into code by withholding the second half of payment.

The flood of the reviews after mine from his friends and family should be taken with a grain of salt. Don’t let his initial nice attitude and words fool you, he’s going to try to go in and out as fast as possible to make a quick buck doing the bare minimum.

I called A and C Mechanical after returning from vacation and finding out my central air unit was involved in an electrical strike. Arthur showed up when scheduled. He fixed the central air pretty quickly and very reasonably priced. I had him come back and service my furnace for the fall/winter and he found a bracket that needed to be replaced. Again very happy with the service and pricing.

Thank you A and C Mechanical for providing PHENOMENAL Service!!! Last winter during the Christmas week (Saturday to be exact) on one of the coldest days of the year our furnace stopped working - No Heat for the entire house!
A and C came to our rescue! First off, they answered my call on a Saturday, came out to the house, fixed the furnace, and did NOT charge an astronomical fee !!!!!!! They were friendly, professional and very willing to help us in our time of need. They also gave us some maintenance tips that would prevent this situation from arising again. It was a Fabulous Pre-Holiday Gift!!!

First used A&C a year ago. My furnace failed in January, they came right out and replaced the furnace the next day. The work was done fast, professionally, and well priced compared to other quotes. I have since had them back to looking into upgrading duct work and will be having them do that as well.

Artie was recommended to me by a friend who is a contractor. I took his advice and had A & C install a completely new heating system. It's been just over 2 years since the installation and it has been smooth sailing ever since. I would not hesitate to use him again.

A & C Mechanical install a mini split system for me on a job in Hollis, NH. They were very professional and worked well with me installing the system into some very tight spaces.
Shortly after, my own furnace died and A & C Mechanical replaced it. They did a terrific job. They also handled, with 100% satisfaction, the mfg warranty replacement for a faulty part.

Our experience with A & C was stellar from planning to installation. They answered our (many) questions thoroughly and patiently, even as we waffled on different aspects of the project. The new furnace looks great and functions smoothly. I got a price on a furnace install from our local propane company, and we got much more value from A & C--they installed a second zone, improved gas pipe from tank to furnace, installed coil for a future condenser, and improved some of our existing duct work for the same money. Also felt super comfortable with Artie and Cory working in our house--they were friendly, easy going, very knowledgable, and hard working. A great experience all around.

A&C Mechanical installed a Mini Split A/C Units in our house. The job was neat and Artie and Cory were very professional going about their work. They explained everything they were doing, how everything works and the best way to run the units. Cory was just here for a tune up before Summer, went thru both units , tested both several times. Can not say enough about A&C Mechanical, they are 2 GREAT GUYS , highly recommend them would give them 10 Stars if possible.

The technician was able to drop by the day after we called, and got us squared away very quickly. Our system is getting old enough that we're going to have to plan for a replacement, and we knew that would be the case. The technician walked us through the issues, and explained everything in detail, so we fully understood the options. Superior knowledge and patient explanations gave us full confidence in Big Al's team and professionalism. Highly recommend!

Technician showed up promptly, as estimated. Frankie did a great job! I explained the issue, he did the troubleshooting and got the heating system back on line quickly. I am very happy with the service provided. I have had Al's do troubleshooting several times with success every time. they have also completed installation of mini-splits for with full satisfaction! We're in the middle of a nor'easter with a bomb cyclone and blizzard-like conditions. I wake to find it's 55 in my house. First phone call finds my usual go-to who installed the system and does my repairs and service in Florida! He suggests my propane supplier. They are closed and have one technician on the road. I'll be on tomorrow's schedule for sure. So much for nearly 45 years as a loyal customer! I see the raves for Big Al's Services all over Facebook so call #3. I left a voice message and received a reply in minutes. Was advised the technician would text when he was on his way. Again I had the text within minutes. We had a challenge getting him in due to the drifting snow but the tech was understanding and very personable. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaces the failed part. The price was very reasonable. I've never used Big Al's Services before and it was under the worst emergency conditions all around. I can't say enough about how grateful I am. I highly recommend Big Al's Services for all your needs HVAC needs!

It was time to replace my 30 year old beast of a boiler, so I started the process of getting some quotes. I had a rusty old oil tank with a minor leak. I called several companies for a replacement, but no one could fit me into their schedule. Big Al asked for a few photos of the tank, provided a competitive quote right away, and was able to fit me in on short notice. The technicians were knowledgeable, professional, and did an excellent job installing the Roth tank. Very happy with the experience—10/10 would recommend.

Just outstanding. Had an emergency issue. Jonathan and Justin were fantastic. Diagnosing, options given and then hot water heater replaced. Extremely professional and pleasant to talk through. Gave me advice for maintaining equipment and stayed until they were comfortable all was safe. Highly recommend Joyce and all of their staff with whom I communicated.

Great experience with Joyce Cooling & Heating from start to finish. Jason came by and gave us a detailed estimate and answered every question. He told us exactly what we needed for our house. He explained the pricing and also the rebates. We recently had a heat pump installed and the experience was top-notch from start to finish. Brendon, Andres, and Seamus did a fantastic job. I was especially impressed with their attention to detail, from showing up on time and finishing the job early—they made sure the outdoor unit was perfectly leveled and took the time to program the thermostat to the exact set points and configuration we needed.
They were professional, efficient, and left our home spotless when they were finished. It’s rare to find a crew that combines technical expertise with such respect for a customer's home. Highly recommended!
