I have used Soot Removers for a few years now. Tikar has always been great. He did a great job cleaning my fireplace and dryer vent that first year. He always sends me a reminder when it is time for the yearly service, which has been greatly appreciated. This last time, he came out and did a camera inspection of our vents and replaced the hose for our dryer. Reasonably priced and always a great job well done!

Tikar was just awesome. He was extremely thorough, got every last ounce of lint in our vents, communicated very clearly with me and then vacuumed up and wiped down all the surfaces on and around our dryer. He also sent some very helpful and insteresting photos of our dryer vents all they way from the dryer to the roof, via email. The pricing was very reasonable and we are absolutely going to use Soot Removers every year from now on.

2 story home with laundry upstairs, West Lancaster

Soot Removers cleaned my dryer vent as recommended by Arrow Appliances, as my clothes were not drying. This I learned is a vital maintenance to prevent fires. Tikar cleared the vent from the laundry room to the roof and restored its proper function. He was very professional, efficient and courteous. I highly recommend this service and will call them again!

Tikar was amazing! He was on time, very knowledgeable and extremely thorough. I would definitely recommend him for any duct cleaning and will use him again in the future.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the pellet stove cleaning I recently had with this company. The technician was here for several hours and I expected it to be thoroughly cleaned. (I have attached pictures of the soot residue and substantial amounts of creosote left on pellet stove.) I can achieve this level of clean using my shop vac. I chose this company based off the reviews and the pricing and I needed a professional cleaning because I skipped a year. I still haven't received my invoice or inspection pictures. I needed to replace the ignitor which was $105 and he charged me $60 for something that took less than five minutes to install. Sorry, but that's just excessive and wrong! The so-called "cleaning" all totaled was $420! I feel completely ripped off. The owner, tikar has responded to my review and replied with hyperbolic fiction. I've had my stove for almost 20 years and he is the first "chimney sweep" that failed to remove the creosote and then stipulated that removing that material isn't part of a pellet stove cleaning. He also inferred I am lying about the frequency of past cleanings; claiming there's a 10 year build up of cresote on my stove. He quoted me a $60 diagnostic fee when the auger continued to feed without the pellets igniting. That's when I informed him I thought I might need a new ignitor. That "diagnostic fee" then became a "diagnostic/labor" fee. I gave this business an honest review based on my experience and the owner appears to be one of those people who has difficulty with criticism and needs to be right all the time. When he first texted me about my review, (which I wrote right after I inspected the stove, two days later), it was never about what he could do to make it right for me, the customer, but what was going to be done about the one-star review I'd given him.
I've never encountered a business owner that makes the choice to throw a dissatisfied customer under the bus; inferring I'm a liar, fabricating conversations and speaking to me like I'm a ten year old. If this business really cared about "turning my frown upside down" the solution is pretty simple. He would refund my money.

Tikar was amazing extremely professional. Made sure he laid down a tarp prior to Beginning his work did an excellent job. I am extremely satisfied. I would hire Soot Removers again in a heartbeat. I will definitely be recommending him to my friends the social media. Thank you again for all your hard work and time you put in. As you can see in the following pictures one is all the set that he removed and then the fire afterwards.

I am absolutely thrilled with the service provided by Tikar from Soot Removers LLC. We had some buildup in our chimney, and I was concerned about the state of our fireplace. Tikar arrived right on time, was incredibly courteous, and took the time to explain the entire cleaning process to me, he was thorough, efficient, and left no mess behind whatsoever. I was impressed with his professionalism and how carefully he protected our living room from any soot. Our chimney is now spotless, and I feel so much safer and more confident using our fireplace. I highly recommend Tikar and will definitely be requesting him for all future cleanings!
