5/5 stars! I just had the best experience with Soot Removers! As a first-time home owner, I was nervous about getting my chimney cleaned, but they made it a breeze. They were quick, clean, and affordable. The technician Tikar was super knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything they were doing and answered all my questions. Highly recommend!

Tikar was great, he was responsive, friendly and experienced. He was able to educate me about my pellet stove and got it going when I didn’t think it was going to work. He went above and beyond. I wouldn’t hesitate to call on him again.

My experience was a bit different, as I was not present during the cleaning and inspection—my tenants were home at the time. However, Tikar contacted me promptly to explain his findings and thoroughly answered all of my questions. This was my first time using a service like this, and I’m confident I won’t need to look any further. I will definitely be contacting Tikar again for any future chimney/fireplace needs or concerns.

Tikar from Soot Removers has serviced my house for years. He is prompt, friendly, and always very informative. The first year he visited he bestowed much knowledge since it was my first home with a fireplace. The next year, I found out that they provide dryer vent cleaning. Ever since then, I have been getting both services every year. The value I get for the service and peace of mind is well worth it. I appreciate Tikar & the team at Soot Removers. They're the best

Soot Removers did an awesome job. I called on a Friday afternoon and was able to get an appointment the following Tuesday for a cleaning and inspection ($255). On Monday evening Tikar reached out to confirm the appointment and promptly showed up the following morning at 8 am. Awesome job on holding true to the appointment time. Once here Tikar got to work cleaning and inspecting. After the inspection he suggested a couple repairs to increase the longevity of our fire place. I didn't bother shopping around but his prices seemed very appropriate for the work done. We had the crown coat applied to the top of the chimney for the masonary as well as a hole sealed up where the gas line comes into the fire box. Tikar did an awesome job. No dust, no mess quite frankly no headache at all. I would definitely hire them again for any of my fireplace work and maintenance.

I had a great experience with this company servicing my wood pellet stove at my cabin. They drove quite a distance to provide service, arrived right on time, and got straight to work.

Not only did they thoroughly clean the stove (which hadn’t been serviced in almost six years), but they also explained exactly what the issue was and fixed a minor leak along the way. The technician went above and beyond by taking pictures and videos and emailing them to me so I could clearly see what was done.

Everything was handled efficiently and professionally. I was very impressed with their customer service and attention to detail, and I will definitely be using them again for my second home. Highly recommend!

Jay & Bryant did such an amazing job. Introduced themselves before entering my house. Asked if they needed to take their shoes off. They were both very polite. Very knowledgeable about their job and explained what they were doing and answered my questions. Very thorough job. Cleaned up after themselves. 100% recommend and will definitely be using them again in the future. Also very affordable.

I’ve used these guys a number of times, first to replace the brick fireplace liner and then to replace/fabricate a new smoke guard. Jay is awesome. The customer service is amazing and the communication is excellent. Highly recommend!

Jay and Bryant are very professional. They came to clean my fireplace and they also performed an inspection. They fixed the discrepancies discovered and gave me tips on products and procedures to fix minor issues. They are very knowledgeable about the job and educated me on proper usage and maintenance. We had our chimney swept & inspected. They were very friendly, professional & clean! They made my wife feel comfortable as she was home alone. They took pictures and explained everything that needed to be done. We would definitely use them again!!

Jay and Bryant were the best I could have hoped for in a professional executing contract work. They called before arriving, showed up on time, and explained what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. In addition to being pleasant, friendly and personable, they were absolutely professional. Quickly and efficiently they went about the task of clearing our dryer vent. I highly recommend Mr. Chimney Guy. Jay was able to come out next day and went above and beyond to make sure squirrels can no longer gain entry into my fireplace. He was very knowledgeable, nice and polite. Showed up on time and cost was very reasonable. Will recommend him to friends and family.

EXCELLENT experience with Mr. Chimney Guy. I found him online, through recommendations. The fireplace in need was in a home built in the early 90s, and it had only been used a few times back in the day. Mr. Chimney was available that same day, which was great, as I had a list of things to get done at the house. We discussed fees, and there was a charge for inspection, and another if cleaning was needed. I agreed, as the prices were equal to, or less than, quotes other friends had paid for their own chimneys.

He arrived with his brother, who works with him, and they were professional, kind, and expedient. They inspected the fireplace and gave it a thumbs up, and they said it did not need cleaning. They also offered free advice on some of the roofing, as well as my installation of some cables that were near the chimney exterior on the roof. As they left, I asked where I could write a review, because good people deserve notice. And Mr. Chimney Guy is great.

I scheduled an appointment with Mr. Chimney Guy. He was able to accommodate a day and time to fit my schedule. He arrived at the scheduled window time and texted when he was 20 minutes away. He was very professional and gave us a lot of tips on the proper wood to use and how to maintain our chimney working properly.
