I submitted a request online and they called almost immediately. They came out and sent a drone up to see a general view of our issue of the cap falling off our chimney. They then took images of the other chimneys for me as well. Although they are not able to help me in this situation they did do an excellent job helping understand what to do next.

Contacted them after Spire could not get pilot light started on a fireplace. They guy that showed up spoke little english, messed around with the gas starter, then wanted to see gas line..out come. He fixed nothing, said I would get an email with quote to clean and install new gas line in 20 minutes, charged me $79.00 for nothing. Email never came you only talk to AI bots when you call. Horrible.

Jake was professional and friendly. Found the problem, repaired the problem and provided us with good information. We were very happy we selected safe sweep.

I found Jeff from a google search, benefited from other people's reviews, so I feel I should leave mine, too. Damper cap was blown off during the May 16 tornado and replaced, along with some past-due maintenance. Once the first appointment was scheduled, the rest went smoothly. Fully satisfied!

I had Safe Sweep inspect our chimney two weeks ago. During the inspection, they found some damage caused by water penetrating through the top of the chimney. They informed us that the chimney was not safe to use, and provided detailed pictures and a thorough report. The next day, we received a quote with two repair options for our fireplace. We decided to install a new wood-burning insert, which is more energy-efficient than repairing our 100-year-old chimney.

Hen recommended installing the Supreme Fusion wood-burning insert, which also qualifies for a tax credit. The company did an amazing job inspecting, offering us options, and explaining the entire process. They gave us recommendations specific to our chimney, and it was the first time I felt this level of expertise from a professional here in Ladue.

A big thank you to Hen, Jake, and Pedro for fixing our chimney in less than a week and for keeping our home and yard clean!

When Spire Gas came to my house to relocate my gas meter outside, they noticed an issue with the water heater's valve putting out heat where it shouldnt. Poking around, literally, we found my chimney flue liner had turned from metal to paper thin rust, broken, and now clogging the pipe causing the backdraft! My HVAC and water heater were immediately shut off and red tagged by Spire, and I was advised to call a chimney service that could repair flue liners. This business was the 2nd result-with tons of good reviews. I called and Jake came nearly first thing Monday, found the problem, gave me a quote, and put me on the schedule for the next day. He and his helper were right on time, got to work immediately, and had everything fixed in just under 4 hours. Pictured is the 1 "before" shot I have, and 2 "after" shots.

I originally had an appointment with another company to inspect and clean my flue liners but after doing some investigation I noticed that they had really bad reviews and complaints with the St Louis BBB. Safe Sweep is BBB accredited and had amazing reviews so I decided to go with them. Jake and his crew did not disappoint! They were straightforward with me about what I needed to do and they prioritized my job so that my tenant could have hot water again. During the entire process Jake communicated with me and kept me in the loop. They showed up when they said that they would, did a professional job and then cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend this company and will definitely be using them again. I have been working in real estate and property management for over 20 years and have had a full spectrum of good and bad experiences. In a world full of shady contractors it's refreshing to know that there is one that I can always count on. Thank you, Safe Sweep!

This company was professional from start to finish. I called to get a estimate on a chimney liner and tuck pointing within a couple of days they came out and gave me the estimate. I signed the contract within a week. Jake and his team was back out here starting the job. They cleaned up everything and I'm very pleased with the work. I have recommended Safe Sweep to some of my coworkers that also needs work done.
