I called for a quote, they came within a few hours, arrived prepared with all the materials and tools, I accepted the quote, and the work was completed to my complete satisfaction. They lived up to their 4.9 star rating on Google, inspecting, finding only the need for one minor repair in 3 chimneys. Prompt, clean and professional. Showed me photos of what was in good shape as well as explaining the minor fix. Definitely recommend!

They did both of my chimneys with inserts and all new connecting pipe to woodstove and furnace. I was very pleased. It only took them about 3 1/2 to 4 hours. They cleaned everything when they were done, including sweeping up the dust and debris. They arrived within 10 minutes of when they said they would.. Happy customer, Randy. PS they took old debris with them did not look for me to get rid of it.

I have used A1 Affordable several times to clean my chimney. Additionally, they installed a new chimney liner and replaced the cement cap on my chimney. At each encounter, the technicians were on time, very knowledgeable and professional. They cleaned up when they were done and made sure I was satisfied with the work. I highly recommend this company!

I had them install the chimney liner for me. The work they did was great. They arrived on time and did a thorough job. They even noticed that my vent pipe was broken and they just fixed it for me. I am very happy with this company overall. The only issue was that the person who came over to give me the quote was very pushy to get the deposit and schedule the work right away.

They came to work on the chimney lining for the boiler install. They came on time, very professional and cleaned up after the job was finished. Kenny was there to answer every questions I had; also they called me to follow up to make sure everything went well. Thank you.

My fireplace was seemingly built when the colonists first arrived in America. The clay caracutta something was deteriorated & collapsing into the flue & beginning to clog it. As you can see, I don't know much about fireplaces. I usually get my hipster friend to delicately say a prayer & remove a tree from the yard before carefully piling them in their fireplace while whispering sweet nothings to make the fire light & keep us warm & entertained. Alas, this is something I'm incapable of doing. In fact, I chopped down all my trees, so now I have no wood. Fear not, A1 showed up as one of the highest rated chimney companies. They explained you don't need wood anymore. I was flabbergasted, so I continued to listen. Apparently, most people prefer gas fireplaces now. This was what they call a gas insert. Not only is this a new contraption that eliminates the need for wood, but I don't have to hire Dick Van Dyke (guy is 100 I'd feel badly) to come & sweep my chimney. So the thing basically takes care of itself. All I have to do is press a button on the fancy remote/thermostat they gave me & I have a really cool fireplace lit up instantly! It's also effectively a great zone heater. The service was great, the product looks fantastic, & the employees were all very kind & respectful. I always like to hear from my family, as I'm stuck in the coal mine during the day, about how great they're treated. This company definitely lived up to their reviews. The only issue I have now is figuring out how to explain to my daughter how Santa Clause slips through this gas fireplace though... Maybe my hipster friend can figure it out for me.

In a pinch i was referred to A1 ,after contacting many companies A1 was the only one that same day arrived, qouted me and scheduled the job the very next day. Large work crew arrived, within 4 hours fireplace chimney was recleaned ,New flue extension installed,3 rows of chimney bricks repaired,new concrete cap installed as well as new metal weather cover and thermo Crete coated entire existing flue.workers were polite, clean and worked as best they could not stop. Cleaned up everything single bit of trash that was created and washed down my parking lot where they worked. Now my family has owned and ran our own small business since 1937 and I'm 3rd generation and very very picky about workmanship, so when I say this company is A NUMBER 1, THEN THEY ARE. Definitely worth the investment

Really happy with A-1! They cleaned and repaired my fireplace chimney with thermocrete spray and lined my furnace and hot water heater chimneys with stainless steel. Their estimate was honest and they caught stuff another company completely missed. The guys who came out were super professional and friendly, called ahead, showed up on time, and did a great job. Would definitely use them again!

We were very impressed with how quick start to finish was. Within a week from our estimate we had a new roof. A-1 was extremely affordable, friendly, and did excellent work. 10/10 recommend

I have used A-1 in the past for normal chimney inspection and maintenance. They also installed liners in both the Fireplace and furnace chimneys, in the past two years. I was so satisfied with their work and the professionalism of their crews that I recently called them for flashing and stucco recoating. I have been very satisfied with all of their work and I would highly recommend them.

Excellent service!! I needed fast as the huge snowstorm was rolling in and A1 answered, came and got the job done flawlessly! Juan was the poc I spoke with. He was responsive, communicated clearly and had his team in there to do the job....he truly delivered A1 customer service! My house got sooted out , carbon monoxide alarms going off , fire department at my house around 9pm evacuating the property . I called local chimney companies around the Pottstown areas , and got no answer . My neighbor came across the street and asked what’s going on , thanks Tim !!! I explained everything to him and he recommended to call A1-Affordable that did multiple services at his home . I called A1 and Jessica picked up the phone . She listened to my concerns and said I’ll have a tech there within the hour . These guys arrived in less than an hour , assessed the situation and explained to me what was going on . I agreed to get the work done and they did the job within 2 hour. My heating chimney collapsed and led to carbon monoxide entering my home . Technician Krish, or Chris , too much going on at the time and Fresnal , immediately started to work on unblocking the chimney and guided me through the whole experience. 2 hours later everything was completed and I was able to bring my tenants and family back into the house . Thanks A1-Affordable. Thanks to your amazing techs ….. we will be calling for the other repairs in the summer .

Guys showed up right on time. They went right to work disconnected furnace from chimney 2 hot water heaters from chimney. Two guys went on the roof with the 35 foot Chimney liner. reconnected all three couldn’t ask for a better job

Recently contacted A-1 recently for a routine chimney inspection/cleaning. It was the day before the "big" snow storm. Our system was not working. They came at 2ish in the afternoon. They told us our chimney needed a liner. But they made several calls to their headquarters to see if they could install a new chimney liner. They took the time to install, check & get our system up & running. Thanks so much for a GREAT job, done professionally & not leaving us in a precarious position!!! We highly recommend A-1 for all your heating, etc. jobs.

My trusted plumber recommended A-1 when my boiler stopped working in the middle of the coldest cold spell of the winter. I called the number I was given on a Sunday expecting to leave a message so that I could speak to someone first thing on Monday. Instead, the owner, George, picked up the phone. He even said he would get someone over on Sunday if I needed it. I said I could wait until Monday because we also have a wood burning stove. A lovely and professional person showed up Monday morning to assess my situation. I was shown detailed pictures of my falling apart chimney and my rusted out chimney lining. The cost for a new chimney and liner is not cheap, so I wanted to be sure I understood exactly what was being done. I called George, and he said he would come over to my house and talk with me in person. He did! And he explained step by step what the job entailed. The next day, a full crew came out and rebuilt my chimney and put a proper sized stainless steel liner. I was concerned about the aesthetic of the chimney because my house was built in 1870 and I wanted to be sure the brick color matched the original brick. It did. The chimney looks beautiful. My boiler is back up and running, and I couldn't be happier with the job that was done.

A1 Affordable Team (Chris +1) arrived right on time even though they called to inform there was alot of traffic! They were very respectful to our property and got right to work! Chris explained every step taken and I was provided pictures via text of every angle of the chimney. The repair was much needed and if it wasn't for A1 Affordable we wouldn't have known how severe things really were in the chimney. I was really impressed by how much they did and how great it looks how. It took them about 2hrs to fully repair the stack, clean, lined, new metal tubing, wires. Just impressed! A-1 Affordable did a Wonderful job for me . at a very fair price on 1/5/25. Added a Liner to my Chimney, Repaired and re cemented crown, upgraded flashing outside on roof , inside connected Furnace & Hot water heater Vents back to Chimney into the new Steel Liner . with 2 new aluminum vents in proper area of Chimney re cementing and smoothly finished. .Bricklayer doing the Work did very nice work i watched him . …. Very Professionally run old fashion Outfit A-1 is from initial contact of them . they Called the night before to confirm appointments each time they came to my home and texted before arriving. For initial Inspection and estimate, Day of Job . i signed on a tablet was given estimate on paper of exactly what work they would perform, the items , and the price . day of job they showed up with 4 men 2 on roof outside, 2 in basement at the Chimney inside. , Did knock out ( but in no rush whatsoever) Job in 2.5 hours. Following day .2 workers arrived to remove Plastic they covered my cement repaired crown with in case of inclement weather again i received a call about his arrival, then a text and he knocked on door before going on roof .. also day after job received call from Manager asking if i was satisfied and double triple checking that his men arrived, worked in a professional manner and cleaned up . and if i was satisfied with the work. even down to last detail which i appreciated the Check i gave them on 1/5 cleared the Bank by early morning on 1/7 , Furnace is running like a Top now too since the Liner was installed. Bottom line,,,, A-1 is Professionally run Outfit. if your looking for Chimney work or repair
