Customer service was fine until the job was complete and payment made. When trying to make contact with manager I got a tape telling me my call could not be completed at this time please call back . I did this several times with no contact. Appears that the mgr. is to busy to talk to you once the payment is made.

I submitted a request for a quote online and someone called me to schedule a few hours later. They asked when I was available and I told them. Then they asked when my husband was available. They assumed not only that I was married but that obviously I was married to a man. When I asked why it mattered when he was available they indicated that they wanted to make sure the decision maker was available for the estimate. I cannot believe that women are still being treated this way in 2020. Neither I or my husband are willing to give our business to a company with such disrespectful and discriminatory practices.

The salesman, Jake, was extremely knowledgeable and was able to address all my questions and concerns. My house looks 1000x better with the new gutters, and I am still excited that the Leaf Filter technology will prevent my giant trees from creating a gutter nightmare each fall.

We got the Leaf Filter installed and also our gutters cleaned. The whole process was quick and easy. No complaints especially since our personal waterfall is finally gone

Tried to sell screens that go on top of the gutters to prevent clogging. Common sense will tell you the screens will clog…ugh. This doesn’t solve my problem but only creates more. Call LeafGuard if you want gutters that don’t clog.

Salesman was pretty pushy about getting my contact information after I told him I was Going to an appointment. I really Regret it now because they have spammed me like crazy. 3 phone calls from them in one day is absolutely ridiculous

This company came to my house and offered me a quote good for one year at $12,403. If I agreed immediately the cost would be$10,336. When I did not buy, the salesman offered a commercial rate at $8,902. As the salesman was leaving he offered the same work at $7,000 if I wrote a check right away. The next day I received a text from a manager for the price of $4430. I don’t know if my experience is because I am older, in my seventies or this is standard practice but in my view it is unacceptable. Give me a reasonable quote and treat me fairly. Buyer beware!

We have yet to have a heavy rain so it's hard to write a review on the performance of Leaf Filter but I can write on customer service. Shem, the representative who came out to give a estimate is so professorial, easy to work with and there for us with any follow up questions and answers. He was great! Jonathan, the installer was prompt, courteous and a very hard worker. Leaf Filter sent out an inspector to follow up on the job. I would highly recommend Leaf Filter.

Installed Leaf filter gutter protection system. The installers were excellent and a special crew did the back of the house due to patio structure. Amazing and professional. No extra charge and could not be more pleased with the final product

I thought the price I was charged for 170 feet of filters on existing gutters on a one-story home was excessive. It took one man only four hours and I was charged $8500 dollars. Original price quoted was $12,000 and that was reduced with coupon and senior discount. They got me at a weak moment.

UPDATED 12/22/25: Rating downgraded to 1 Star; the hydroplaning has now resulted in the detachment of roof shingles.

Same problem as described in other negative reviews (see Anthony Poggi). The system accumulates shingle grit, which causes rain to very heavily waterfall off certain spots. This was a $7000 investment and had I known about this design flaw would never have had it installed. After the first year it is a $95 service fee to have them come clean the filter screens. While I don’t want to be up on a ladder doing it myself, I also don’t want to pay for it since the cleaning only lasts for a few weeks. Very disappointed.

Paid a lot of money for this and no one even bothered to follow up and see if the installer did as was expected. They didn't clean up the mess well or put away my hoses they dragged out to clean with. Salesman should follow up with customers to see if they did well. I'm not really happy with the service considering how much this cost it should be absolutely top notch and wasn't. The only thing they followed up on was making sure they got all their money.

My LeafFilter purchase was needed because of the big maple tree in my yard. My gutters would fill each fall with leaves then again in the spring with all the seed pods. I had Levi give me a estimate and schedule the install. The installers arrived on time and finished quickly, they also cleaned up any mess afterwards. Over all a good experience and value.

From the gentleman that came to my home and gave me an estimate to the installation and then a quick stop by a tech to reseal a corner piece that was leaking- Leaf Filter employees are kind, knowledgeable, and considerate. At the beginning of the install they moved some patio furniture and when they were done they put everything back where it was. We ended up with a small drip on a corner and they came back out and fixed that too.

Showed up on time, did the work and should me pictures of the work upon completion. Very good job.

We had Leaf Filter install gutter filters on our home. AC came over for an estimate. He explained everything about their system, how it works, how long the job would take and the cost. It was less than I had anticipated and installed in a day. I went up there a few days later to check out the product and installation and was very well pleased with the professionalism of the installation and the appearance. The warranty is transferrable when we decide to sell the house and I don't have to go up there twice a year to clean out gutters. Who wouldn't want Leaf Filter?

The on call customer service people are very nice. However, nothing else was easy. Sales guy was prompt made a lot of promises, that later the installation guy said can’t be done (moving a downspout 4feet) then ghosted me. The crew showed up with no appointment multiple times. When I got home the gutters were put back up the exact same way, including my old broken gutters. I called CS they came back out moved 1 down spout then said nothing was on the blue print. I said why would I have a downspout flooding my foundation. Installers called their boss he said we needed a beam to move the downspout. Had a builder come and make it happen. The boss then can out said it won’t work then quit messaging me. Called CS again, he then came out with someone else and met my builder and myself to tell me that it’s not possible to put in an angle/ corner piece but he would talk to his boss. I did not hear anything so called CS again spoke with an even higher boss Matt. He was nice came out said it would be fixed. I had to deal with this situation for 2 months. No discount no partial refund nothing. On top of it all, they left lots of trash, huge nails and screws all over my yard. I am so unimpressed. They did finally fix it but it took 2 months and being ghosted and lied to and multiple calls to CS to finally get it done. You would think I would have gotten some money back but nope. I would not recommend them at all.

On time, Did what salesperson said they would do. Added guttering vwhere builders failed to do. Leaf filters are working well. I don’t have tp get up on a ladder any more!!!!
