We have recently schedule Mountain Hardscape to do a complete backyard makeover that I know will turn out to be top-notch. They are easy to work with and are meticulous in their work!

Shane and the team at Mountain Hardscapes are amazing to work with! I had a bunch of pavers and retaining wall installed and they worked with me through the design and install. Shane told me the project would take about 10 days and they had it done in less than a week. I couldn't believe the pace that those guys worked. MHS did our patio. They were amazing to work with. Shane was super supportive and a 'partner' in this whole process. This was an investment into the future our house and it 100% paid off. The crew was 100% professional and a joy to have around. They even sang as they worked and laughed in a good way. And they provided a really beautiful border to our patio - as I had no idea what pattern to use. Every time, literally, someone comes into our backyard they comment on how beautiful our patio is. Even a recent landscape contractor! Which to me says a lot. We waited till this spring to seal the pavers and look at the results. TOTALLY an investment well spent and I owe that to Shane and the crew. THANK YOU!!!

My backyard transformation is perfect! Shane helped me with my vision and was sure to stay within my budget. His crew was phenomenal! My patio is now complete for all to enjoy! So beautiful, so relaxing...I feel as if I'm at a resort whenever sitting out there. I cannot recommend Shane and his company enough! After a tough bathroom remodel that took over 3 months, I was ecstatic to work with such a professional. My yard was transformed in just under 2 weeks! Highly, highly recommend! You will not be disappointed.

We love how our backyard turned out. Mountain Hardscape Systems did a great job and helped us bring our vision to light. They had great design suggestions / visions, communicated timely, and were a pleasure to work with. They installed pavers, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, and landscaped our backyard.

Hanna did an excellent job showing us how we could improve our backyard property with the pavers. She is very friendly, knows the business, and it seems to be a fair price. We are just waiting for the HOA approval.

Shane the owner is an awesome dude who will make sure the job is done right. Mountain hardscape systems is the best in Idaho and their work speaks for itself! You won’t regret choosing them for your dream patio!

Mountain Hardscaping did a beautiful job. The attached photos are almost a month after they finished, so there's a little dirt here and there from rain and some sprinkler work that happened afterwards, but their work still looks fantastic. They did the hardscaping, the borders, the edging around the yard, added new sod and topsoil and sprinklers. They also added a short French drain to address a drainage issue we were having.

We researched all the local Boise hardscaping companies and got price quotes from several places and had a few people come out to estimate. Price-wise they were a little higher than most others but it was clear from the beginning that they weren't going to cut any corners, either. While most others just gave us a brief look and a price, Matt from Mountain HS walked us through the whole process ahead of time, brought a catalog of options to review, and gave us recommendations and also time estimates that ended up being pretty close. They actually were able to start ahead of schedule, which was great for us.

I'm pretty sure they sub-contracted a portion of the labor but the guys they used were great. Very polite (our young kids love to wave at people through the windows and the workers would always stop and wave back with a smile), very efficient, and cleaned up and didn't leave a mess behind them (someone forgot a pair of sunglasses and a glove). They even worked on a Saturday morning to make sure they stayed on schedule.

They communicated with us throughout the process, checking in at different points, and also had a review after everything was done. We noted that there had been a couple drip line emitters that had gotten broken at some point and a couple sprinkler issues. So nothing major but they took care of everything we found and it has all been working perfectly since.

This isn't our first rodeo with different contractors and we've used the cheapest option before, only to have poor communication, delays, poor quality work, and/or expensive post-install problems. We had none of those problems with Mountain. Contracting is truly a you-get-what-you-pay-for world and MHS was worth every penny.

We really are happy with how our new patio turned out. Everyone from the owners to the crew installing took pride in their work. They are not cheap but considering the quality of work I would say they are a good value. I believe the true test of a company is how they handle issues. We had one issue come up that was promptly corrected. Mountain Hardspace Systems delivered great results. Highly recommended.

Great job, and fantastic to work with! We were tired of putting a lot of work into our front lawn just for the benefit of the neighborhood dogs, so we brought in Elisa and her team to do something prettier and lower-maintenance. We really didn't know what we wanted other than "nice", and they did a great job providing all the ideas and design, as well as some really helpful pre-visualization. They took care of everything start-to-finish: turf removal, rejiggering our sprinkler setup (and leaving our irrigation box nicer than they found it), all the plants of course, some beautiful custom raised beds, and even leveled my front light-post that was going to be standing in the middle of everything. We're very happy with the outcome, but Elisa and Savannah were also incredibly communicative throughout, even through checking in a few weeks after it was all done. Her team were speedy, considerate, and even friendly. Couldn't have been easier!

Had our lawn over seeded along with compose and it was done well and with care.

Absolutely unorganized, unorthodox and just unprofessional. Been some time since ive contacted this company but coming sprinkler blowout time it reminded me of how disfunctional and problematic this company was. The manager Erika or Emma or something with an E was practically a joke to work with on arrange a job for my home. Always promising a call back and never following through with it. Beware of this company. I Was referred to them by north end organic nursery (which i love and still go to) but really wish I would not have been. Thank you North end for the suggestion but next time someone referrs you to flytterby definitely pass up the offer and continue exploring.

Wow the spring application to the lawn made a big difference really quickly! I am surprised at the amazing green lawn, along with the weed dying off quickly. Thanks Flutterby Gardens!

I have worked with Flutterby 3 times in a row now they have been nothing but amazing and top of the line work, Everything was done in style and efficiency I am definitely going to be returning for more landscaping!

The Flutterby folks completely overhauled my mess of a backyard and transformed it into a very functional and beautiful work of art! I now officially love my yard and the whole process was easy and stress free. I can't wait for them to do my front yard, and I definitely recommend them!

Flutterby Gardens were recommended to me by my real estate agent. I hired them to do weekly mowing and then had them do additional landscaping, primarily weeding/pruning in my yard. In the month that we had Flutterby service our lawn they forgot about our mowing, didn't respond to messages and were overall not helpful or friendly. The front office manager Becca is non-communicative regarding fees, invoices, job duties/responsibilities, scheduling, etc. Athena who did our landscaping (weeding/pruning) was wonderful and very knowledgeable and is the only reason I gave the company 2 stars. Overall disappointed in the services especially for the price, but glad we moved on and found a new landscaper :-)
