Had an issue with my new build's backyard. Which ended up being too much to handle so I hired Mr. Chipp to redo the backyard.
Mr. Chipp worked with me to develop the scope and design the lawn. They were quick but thorough and detailed. My entire backyard was redone in about 2-3 days. I now have a fantastic backyard and my family and I couldn't be happier.

If you’ve ever had work done on your property, then you know how difficult it can be to find a company that is competent, timely, and professional. Jorge and the rest of the team at Mr. Chipp delivered on every front, and we couldn’t be happier! They removed the existing lawn in our back yard, re-graded the area so it properly slopes away from the house, installed a brand-new, efficient sprinkler system, installed sod, and laid patio pavers in two different areas of our yard. Jorge asked all of the right questions during his estimate visit to ensure that he understood exactly what we wanted, and helped us choose a sod that meets all of our needs – drought-tolerant, insect-resistant, and durable enough to withstand our dog’s daily fetch sessions. And last but not least, their customer service was exceptional – friendly, responsive, and professional, and they even made accommodations for some scope creep when we requested additional paver work after the initial estimate. Bottom line: Mr. Chipp exceeded our expectations in every way. If we have sprinkler, lawn, or landscaping needs in the future, we definitely will be calling Mr. Chipp. We highly recommend them!

I had Mr. Chipp Landscaping landscape our front yard. I told him what I wanted and needed done and George added his ideas. He submitted his proposal to me and I was very impressed with it. He added pictures of his suggestions along with explanations of how he planned on doing the project. My husband and I are very pleased with the outcome and are going to use his services to do our backyard. If you're looking for a true professional landscaper with great customer service and satisfaction, this is the company you want to use!

Detailed quotes, detailed invoices, project started/completed when stated. Jorge and his crew do great work, are easy to collaborate with, and always open/flexible to customer changes.

A utility company doing fiber optic install in my subdivision had destroyed half my lawn. 700 sq ft of grass needed to be torn out, regraded, and new sod to be laid. I called and was sent a quote that day, and the work was done and completed within 72 hours of me calling. Very pleased with the quality of the work as well as all the communication. Would absolutely not hesitate to utilize them again for future projects and would recommend them to anyone needing any work done.

Mr Chipp removed our old grass and re-leveled and graded before laying new sod. The crew was very efficient and courteous. We had 2,000 square feet removed and replaced in only two days. All of our questions and concerns were dealt with and our new lawn is rooting nicely. Thanks to Jorge, Daisy and the crew for making it a smooth experience!

Contacted Mr Chipp through their website and they responded within an hour. Spoke with Jorge about the project and he was here at my house within a few hours. All is well so far. Spent about 30 minutes with Jorge, while he measured my yard, and discussed the details of what I needed done. All went well and he said he would send a quote over. I send him a text thanking him for coming out and stated I was excited to see a quote. No acknowledgement from Jorge. I waited a couple of days and still nothing from Jorge or the company. I then sent another text back to the company asking when I would get a quote. Still nothing and I have not heard a thing back from anyone. I can't imagine how a company can blow off prospective business customers like this and stay in business. This is just a bush league business that I would run away from.

The Mr. Chipp team works intelligently and efficiently. The team completed a large job including sprinklers and sod across half an acre within two business days. The owner and managers communicated effectively within their team as well as with the customers. The team members were kind, courteous and easy to work with. The Mr. Chipp team handled our large landscaping project with precision and ease which was much to our liking as a customer.

Jorge and his team did a wonderful job with a landscaping overhaul and sprinkler work at my residence. From the initial consultation, through picking out the right shrubs, and to revisiting afterwards to fix minor details, this company was incredibly professional and easy to work with. All unforeseen issues were discussed with me beforehand so there were no expected charges at the end. Jorge and his team were quick, reliable, polite and respectful. He was very kind when I asked for a few last minute changes, as well, and didn’t seem put out. Will go with this company again and would not hesitate to recommend to others. Worked with Mr. Chipp for landscaping our new home. From the very beginning Jorge was our point of contact. He helped guide us during our consultation, was in communication throughout installation, and has been great with follow up. During installation the crew was very professional, kept me informed, and cleaned up after each day. The work was professionally done by Jesus, Manny and Geraldo. The materials they used were of top quality. Overall I have a gorgeous place to relax in;
green green sod was applied, my chosen plants carefully put in place, sprinkler system works perfectly, flagstone patio smooth and unmoving, I asked for some raised beds for some veggies and received the loveliest cedar boxes! I have professional cement curbing to separate my graveled veggie area from my lawn and it’s really a handsome touch. Jorge, owner of Mr. Chipp is a pleasant and knowledgeable young man, he walked me through all the technicalities (backflow had to be installed before sprinklers!) and was a joy to collaborate with.

Jorge's communication with us was outstanding, we felt comfortable with every phase of the job. Maria and her crew were amazing and so respectful of our property, always leaving a clean site for the night. They quickly responded if we had concerns, or when I added something, and they even came out a week later when we noticed some sprinklers needed adjustment.

We had a landscaping project that we felt was more than we could handle and thankfully we found Mr. Chipp! From the beginning, Jorge responded quickly to my voicemail and came out exactly when he said he would to discuss the work I wanted done and give me an estimate. I had a detailed estimate within a couple hours. His team came to the property exactly when they said they would be there and got the job done quickly. They were very concerned about working within my budget, and called me for approval if they felt extra work needed to be done. I’m extremely pleased with the job they did, and thrilled with the professionalism shown throughout the process. I would 100% recommend the Mr. Chipp landscaping team!

Update:
Shortly after posting this review I received an online response AND phone call from George at Mr. Chipp. He apologized for misunderstandings and we were able to work some things out. He refunded the entirety of the money that I paid for the sprinkler job even though that was not what I had expected or hoped would happen. I was very impressed with the way this situation was handled. In fact, once we had worked things out, I offered to delete this review and he actually asked that I just amend it so that other folks would be able to see how the company handled a difficult situation. So...the update is that George and Mr. Chipp went above and beyond to rectify the situation and we've agreed to move forward with the work. I'll put one more update here with photos once it's done.

This company is okay. The people were nice enough. The issue I had with them was one of professionalism and trust. We recently bought a house here in Boise and found that the renters who lived in it previously had allowed the front yard to completely dry out and die (we bought during winter and had to wait until spring to see the condition of the grounds) I contacted Mr.Chip about installing sod and doing some cleanup of the flower beds. Once we got started we discovered there were issues with the sprinkler system that they said they could handle, so I decided to add that work to our landscaping project. During this time several people came out to the house and there didn’t seem to be much communication between them. I found myself having to repeatedly explain what I was looking for and what I wanted done. Then, they sent someone out who PARTIALLY repaired the sprinkler system. He seemed to have a really hard time figuring things out and in the end I had to go out and show him how to test the different valves to figure out which valves fed which zones! After that single day of work, the company was calling wanting to collect payment on just the portion of the work that they had completed that day. I found this really strange since it was all part of the main project. I don’t know if they thought I couldn’t afford to pay for the work, or if they needed a pay-as-go situation so they could afford materials and to pay their guys? Either way it made me uncomfortable because they wanted this pay-as-you go deal but we’re ALSO requiring a 50% down-payment on the overall project.
Bottom line is these people are very nice, but if you have any kind of big, complicated landscaping project that you want done maybe go with a bigger company that’s bit better organized. I ended up canceling the rest of the job with them after this experience.

9/14 the sod has had time to settle in so I think it’s time for an update. Mr. Chip did great quality work, and they continue to take care of us.
