Russell from City of Treez did a great job cutting some hanging limbs for us. He responded promptly to our call and came out to our home right away to cut the limbs, erasing a potentially dangerous situation in our backyard.

I love the way my trees look now!! Trenton and his crew did an awesome job trimming my Maple, Ash, and Mulberry trees. They are the best they’ve ever looked. I’ve tried other tree companies and these guys are the best by far in my opinion!! They even did an awesome clean up job!!

We have used this company a couple times. They have always done such a great job! They know how to fall difficult trees and branches. They also know how to make an old tree look good again. Knowledgeable workers.

STILL AMAZING! 3rd time using their services. This time they came and cleaned out 3 very over grown sad looking trees. I got home today after they had been at my house and I was blown away. They trees look so good! Heathy and cleaned up perfectly. You can’t even tell by the looks of my yard that I had all of this done! I think my yard is cleaner! They did awesome at clean up! We also found out that our maple tree was in need of some nutrients. So, we will be getting that service done later this spring. So happy, as always with City of Treez. I absolutely recommend their services! Ten stars!

I called City of Treez based on their ratings and comments from previous clients. I was not disappointed. After a major storm I had a dead tree uprooted and threatening to fall over my fence into my neighbor's property. Trenton showed up within the hour of my initial call, assessed the situation, gave me a quote and then dispatched a team. Before the evening was over they had cut down the tree and cleaned up both my and my neighbor's property. So glad that I called them. Highly recommended!

Trenton and his crew did an excellent job on everything they quoted and went beyond to do extra work at no charge. Trenton was great to deal with as well.

City of Treez is ran by a legit Tree Dr. Trent Baird. I had the pleasure of hiring Trent to trim down all of the trees at my Hyde Park home in the historical district where the trees are massive but also I had a dead tree assessed that needed full removal.
Not only did Trent and City of Treez crew do an excellent job of cleaning up removing all debris he educated me as to why a particular dead large tree should be removed and why. If you want quality work call City of Treez. I know I was grateful and so were my neighbors.

Trenton and his crew were beyond fast and highly professional. The quickly removed two large trees from our property and the hard work was made to look like a walk in the park. Avoid this company at all costs. I was ghosted after paying in full for a job they never completed. Trenton gave me a quote for tree removal and stump grinding. While they did come out and cut the tree down, the stump was left completely untouched.

After that, I was strung along with excuses for weeks. Now, Trenton has completely stopped responding to texts or calls. Today, he actually picked up the phone but he didn’t say a word—just played an obnoxious sound into the phone.

Totally unprofessional, disrespectful, and dishonest. I regret trusting this business and paying upfront. Learn from my mistake—look elsewhere.

Trenton did a great job with some complicated tree pruning, the removal of four very large hazard trees, and care for some elderly trees on our property. The yard was pristine when they left as well, amazing clean up. This was our second time with City of Treez and both times large jobs were done safely, effectively, and with minimal fuss despite the difficulty of the task. We would rather never cut down a tree but it was time and we were glad to have Trenton and his team on the job.

I highly recommend you do NOT use City of Treez.

I hired him for what should’ve been a straightforward job—tree removal and stump grinding. He gave me a quote, seemed reliable enough, and I made the mistake of paying in full upfront. The crew did show up and took down the tree, but the stump? Left completely untouched.

From that point on, it was nothing but delay after delay. Every time I reached out, I got a different excuse. Weeks went by, and eventually, Trenton just stopped responding altogether. No replies to texts. No returned calls.

Unprofessional doesn’t begin to cover it. I feel taken advantage of and frustrated that I trusted this business. Save yourself the headache—look elsewhere.

Trenton and his team are great at communicating, provide a fair price, and do a fantastic job. We have a very large old tree in our back yard that was a risk to our kids and neighbors house. The City of Treez Tree Service made it safe while still allowing the tree to look good. We couldn’t be happier. They are the best in the business.

I had 4 trees removed from my property. Gary, the owner's son, called me as they were finishing up and assured it me it was a clean job and didn't hit any wires or sprinklers. Turns out they hit my cable wire and a sprinkler line. I informed them and tried to work something out and they basically told me to go pound sand. I wouldn't use this company again. I understand hitting a line, but they were unapologetic and appeared to care less about informing me about the problems.

Skilled, professional, efficient, polite, and meticulous in their cleanup of the work site. It was snowing the day they came but it didn't slow them down. Very pleased with the quote and execution.
