I highly recommend Boise Sav a Tree. They did a thorough walk through of the property with me and identified the problem areas. Received the quote quickly and I felt it was very reasonable. Appointment was set and Andy and crew arrived on time. They did an amazing job with trees that had not been worked on in years. Spectacular job of cleaning up. Overall very professional company. Will definitely use in the future.

We had the pleasure of working with Steve M. with Boise SavATree on a very large job at our residence. The crew that did the work was as good as they come! It was a 2 day job with 15+ removals and pruning of all the trees left behind. One of the crew leaders on site, (RYAN), communicated very well with us, and all tasks and work was done exactly as promised. I have used many tree service companies over the years, and these guys proved to be the best we have come across. Professional, great equipment, safety gear was in place, cleanup was great. ****10 Stars.

I recently had the pleasure of working with SavATree for some tree trimming, and I cannot speak highly enough about their service! From the very beginning, their communication was top-notch. They kept me informed every step of the way, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

The finished result is nothing short of amazing. The tree looks absolutely beautiful, and it's clear that they took great care in their work. I was particularly impressed by their attention to detail – not only did they trim the tree perfectly, but they also ensured that the sidewalks were cleaned thoroughly, even in areas outside their immediate work zone.

Overall, I highly recommend SavATree for any tree trimming needs. They are professional, meticulous, and genuinely care about their work. Five stars from me!

Great setvice from the time arborist Zach arrived (on time!) to provide me an estimate through the tree trimming by River and Bradley. They ate knowledgeable, efficient and courteous. It was also clear that communication between the estimator and crew was thorough.
I appreciated the care they took to clean up when done and to answer all my questions.

Boise Tree is fantastic! Sean , Steve and the team were great! Friendly , prompt, professional and reasonably priced. They created a beautiful mini version of our aging silver maple by sculpting it as they removed the heavy top branches. Clean up was perfect. And did I mention the Star Wars style remote controlled equipment?? Awesome!

Everything went as planned..I had one big maple tree removed and the stump ground out along with my very large ash tree trimmed. They cleaned up everything and even left me some wood to cut up and use in my fire pit. Thanks guys! It was a pleasant experience.

We started using SavATree back 2023 after years of trying to fight back diseases and pests ourselves. Further, we have really clay heavy soil and a lot of our trees and shrubs were not growing well, if at all, and we sadly lost a 6 year old tree to a fungus. SavATree helped us identify some bushes we could remove that were particularly susceptible to disease (and spreading it) and we signed up for their disease and pest treatment as well as their fertilizer plan -- I am overjoyed that we have absolutely seen the benefits in our landscaping. Our plants are thriving and our yard looks really vibrant. One of our spruce trees finally started growing again and has about two feet of new growth in the last couple of years. We have worked with SavATree arborists Zach and Tyler and they have both gone above and beyond to help diagnose issues and educate us as homeowners. If a tree is not doing well I feel really fortunate that I can call and have someone come take a look which has definitely helped us catch things early if needed -- all without upselling or inflating non-issues into costly problems. Half the time it turns out the plants are fine or I can make some minor adjustment to watering schedules or pruning.

Boise Tree workers were very professional and helpful. Our spruce tree was falling over, coming up at the roots. They were able to work our tree into the schedule before it fell and caused damage to the fence and nearby home. The workers worked quickly and cleaned up the area very well. It just took them about an hour. Great work for the price.

I have used Boise Save A Tree twice now. Both jobs were done very very well. the most recent was a smaller job. they cam out very quickly, gave me a timely quote, and an appointment within a very short time. they are flexible and work very well with their clients. there results are terrific and will always listen to the customer as the work is going on and take input while balancing what might harm the tree. great job!

They arrived promptly, started work right away, did a GREAT job of trimming a very big maple tree--got rid of lots of dead branches and small limbs, removed a large broken branch that had been hanging from up high. They were very careful not to damage the lawn, and left the yard clean by picking up all the leaves and small limbs. Every one was very polite and friendly. Very professional! I would HIGHLY recommend them and will use them again in the future.

I had a fall fertilization at my house. Conner was great, polite and thorough. He called before arriving and performed the work with no disruption. Highly recommended!

Terrible experience. I had previously hired Boise Tree to do a trimming job 4 years ago at my home, and they were fantastic. I don't know what happened when they sold to Sav A Tree, but the critical thinking skills were lost along the way.

A pre-requisite to the Sav A Tree job was for Idaho Power to come out and clear the trees 10 feet away from the main service power lines for the neighborhood. I was told for weeks that Sav A Tree did not know when the Power company would come, but it would be the week of the 22nd.
I asked for two weeks when I would know when the power company was coming. I was told at one point that it didn't matter, and I did not need to worry about when they came, because they would get the work done regardless.
This was both false (from the power companies perspective), and does not apply to my situation in which I have dogs in my yard, and need to prep for the work to be done, as well as make sure the dogs are stored safely inside.

I was told by Sav A Tree that the power company is very difficult to work with and they don't communicate.
When I called the power company, they called me back within a half hour and said they had no such job on their schedule. Sav A Tree didn't know when they were coming, because Sav A Tree never set the job up with Idaho Power. Furthermore, Idaho Power wanted to come out and look at the job in advance to know what was required.
I called Sav A Tree and fired them after hearing this.

I wonder as an aside what would have happened when the power company didn't come last week, and Sav A Tree showed up and the Idaho Power work wasn't done. What would you have done Sav A Tree? Waste more people's time?

Also required for the Sav A Tree job was to drop power to my home on the day they were going to do the tree trimming. Well... guess who showed up bright and early this morning while I was asleep. Idaho power to drop my power for the tree trimming job which was no longer happening.

Not only did Sav A Tree completely botch every aspect of scheduling and setting this job up, they somehow managed to waste the time of Idaho Power to come out and wake me up this morning for something that wasn't going to happen.
Also, the company I have hired instead (who works closely with the power company) is going to be able to do the job without dropping the power to my home. Miraculous! This is significant because I work from home.

Find another company for your tree trimming needs. There are a lot of companies in this valley, and Sav A Tree doesn't seem to be organized enough (or even care) to get a simple tree trimming job done.

TLDR: They couldn't figure out how to schedule the job that needed to happen, and then couldn't be bothered to cancel the job that didn't need happen.

Sage and David arrived on time, they were professional, professionally, dressed for their task. Took care preparing my lawn for their heavy equipment.
They worked closely together, one in the tree one on the ground. Their cleanup was perfect.
Truly, a pleasure working with these two young men.
And knowing there are still people who take pride in their work. I would highly recommend them.

I hired the company last year (late 2024) to take down a tree and apply a treatment to my remaining trees. I was happy with the tree removal and paid at the time. There was no indication this was a subscription, since it was to boost the health of my remaining trees after construction.

I was surprised when I was notified they scheduled a treatment in the fall (2025) but assumed it was part what I had paid for previously since there was no reference to price or request for confirmation that I wanted the service. I was shocked to then receive a bill for over $200 for a service I never requested. I reached out and let them know I was very unhappy and disappointed with the situation. They said they wouldn’t come again but I still feel this is a very misleading business practice and I would not trust this company or hire them again. Beware that they will charge you for things you did not schedule or request.

River and Joel did a fantastic job with both a tree removal and a trim for us. They were courteous, highly efficient and cleaned up great after. I was impressed with both the quality and the speed of the work, with everything done in under 2.5 hours. This is our second time using Boise Tree and will certainly reach out to them again for tree work!

I had a large Arborvitae removed from my property in October 2025. The team was fantastic, from providing the estimate to scheduling the work to completing the project. Everyone I interacted with was exceptional. The cleanup was top notch! Every last needle was cleaned up. I couldn’t be happier. And apparently, my tree was infested with black widows and hobo spiders. They were crawling on the team as they were taking down the tree, which is going way above and beyond! I would have fled to the hills! Thank you SavATree!
