Did a great job. Quickly took down a large Poplar in a tight spot hanging over several fences, ground the stump, cleaned everything up. Highly recommend.

They took out three trees and trimmed a fourth. They came right on time, did great work, and cleaned it all up. They were very tactful with a neighbor (my fault - I didn't tell the neighbor that the tree removers were coming and there was a large branch that hung over their back yard). Professional in every way.

I highly recommend this company!! They did an amazing job cutting down and cleaning up a big tulip tree nestled in my back yard amongst my arbors, garden, fence, flower boarders and grandson’s fort.

Mitch swung from the top on a rope sawing and lowering each branch one by one, missing everything below. Didn’t smash one plant!

Doug hauled all the debris across the lawn, through a narrow gate and didn’t leave a worn path or damaged plants. I was so impressed and entertained watching them dismantle and clear out this tree!

Had a large tree removed in my back yard. Mitch was professional from the initial estimate visit and when he removed the tree.

The tree was very large with limbs hanging over the house. He climbed the tree and worked with his assistant to make sure the limbs didn't hit the roof.

They kept the area clean throughout the day, and raked up the debris in the yard. I was extremely impressed when they asked where I wanted the wood stacked and that I didn't have to spend the evening stacking wood.

I will be calling them again for future tree pruning.

North Fork Tree Service has performed tree work for both our family home as well as being the approved Arborist for our subdivision. In both cases, work was done on-time, as promised, and to high very high level of quality. NFTS also created a tree survey for our subdivision that covered 635+ trees! The final product included a Google Map with all surveyed trees, as well as Longitude & Latitude, Condition of Tree, DBH (Diameter by at Breast Height) assigned tree number and recommendations for each tree. This outstanding piece of work is now our subdivision' s "Bible" and has allowed us to prioritize work and establish budgets. NFTS is our partner in tree maintenance, and we could not be more pleased.

Mitch and his employee did an outstanding job removing a extremely large maple tree from our back yard. All work was done by hand, ropes, chain saws. etc. The job took longer than estimated and Mitch stayed with his original bid. Not only did they get the tree down, but cut and stacked the wood in our back yard. They took care of the stump and the yard looked great afterwards. I would highly recommend Mitch and his crew. The most reasonable bid I received but still had complete professionalism. They had to cancel working the first day scheduled due to unsafe weather conditions (which I appreciated them having safety in mind first!) Communicated well for the couple days they were working on removing trees/stumps. Left my property looking great and filled in the ground stump holes well! Mitch and his crew are the best at what they do... care for your trees! He prunes my black bamboo plant each year, and they look amazing! He also gives great advice on your tree's health! I recommend him and Mouth Fork Tree Service!! Very professional, does great clean up, so there's no need to do anything after they leave but enjoy your trees!

As a certified Ada Co. Master Gardener, I tend to be picky about many aspects of landscaping, and because I have observed incompetent tree trimming jobs around the Boise valley that are downright unhealthy for the tree by so-called "professional arborists", I typically do most of the work myself. This month, I finally left the removal of a couple mature spruces and trimming of a shade tree to the pros, due to their challenging nature. I interviewed several tree services, and Mitch at North Fork Tree Service won the bid. Mitch's level of expertise as an arborist is excellent, having both the academic schooling and vast practical experience to get the job done right. He does all the work himself, with the help of an apprentice. Mitch's price was more than reasonable, he was mindful to protect our private property, and left our grounds quite tidy -- you can hardly tell that he has been here.

Give Mitch a shot at your most challenging tree trimming or removal jobs. There's not a better arborist in the Boise valley, he's very reasonably priced, and best of all, your valuable, mature trees in which you have invested significant time and/ or money will benefit from a very healthy treatment.

Mitch is THE BEST! Him and his team went above and beyond with taking down our extremely troublesome arborvitae trees, grinding the stumps and pruning the bigger trees. They left nothing behind. We cannot thank North Fork Tree Service enough for the professionalism and care they provided.

For the last 3 years now, Mitch and his team have been our go-tos for pruning, removal/stump grinding, storm damage mitigation, and health management of all of the trees on our property.
