I've had Taniger Tree Service trimming my willow trees for more than 10 years. They always do a terrific job and their prices are fair..(Not cheap but fair).

Always a first rate job. Guys and gals are friendly and follow safety protocols. Tanager is my “go to” for all my tree trimming and other needs.

Scheduling an appointment, determining best approach to removing a tree and pruning 3 other trees was easy and effective. Work was performed quickly, effectively, with artistry and at a high value cost.

We had Tanager plant our trees last year. One fell over the next day. This year they both died. They were planted too shallow and without any root ball. We lost a lot of time and money using them. It’s so unfortunate.

Awesome, friendly service from the bid to the job. Pruned two large trees and removed another in just a couple of hours. Fun to watch these pros at work! Cleaned up well afterward. Bid and billing were electronic and easy to accept and pay. Highly recommend to others.

This crew did an excellent job removing a large maple in our backyard. They were on time, efficient, cleaned up and had extremely fair prices. Would definitely use them again for future tree needs!

Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Estimate was prompt, fair and clear. They showed up on time for the service, were again, very friendly and made sure we were on the same page before starting work and again after the job was done. We'll be using them again and I can highly recommend them.

Oh and they're highly skilled too. They don't use cranes and did the job entirely with ropes and harnesses; impressive and even entertaining.

The most professional tree work I have ever seen. And at half the cost of another bid. I would recommend using this service for any tree work you need done. Owner and some of the crew are certified arborists.

We had been Tanager customers for 8+ years and loved them. All of a sudden this year, they completely dropped the ball. Took weeks to make an appointment with Alex, then he no-showed. No response, no apology or follow up communication or re-scheduling. So unprofessional and rude. There are plenty of options in Boise for tree service, we will be taking our business elsewhere.

I had a tree removed by Tanager Tree Service, and they did a good job, except they left some large, invasive roots that protrude above the grass. (They did grind some roots, but left a lot more.) They were going to come back to get those, and when I call , they say they will come, but they haven’t. Now they don’t answer my calls. I can’t plant grass in that area until the roots are gone. It will soon be too late to plant this year.

Tanager Tree Service removed two dead cottonwoods from my backyard. They were professional, knowledgeable, and affordable. They did a great job! I would highly recommend for tree removal projects!

This is my second tree removal with Tanager. The company 's personnel are polite, prompt and work quickly and carefully. They are respectful of property, and their bids are very competitive. I will be using their service again!

These folks love and respect and KNOW trees. Terrific to work with, educating us as they work, cleaning up wonderfully. Impressively attentive to safety for all players. We've worked with them for a decade, and I can't say enough good things about them!

I have a huge old Maple tree and was so pleased with the crew of Tanager Tree Service for sensitively trimming the tree. It looks wonderful and they even saved two baby squirrels which I took to a Boise woman who will raise them. Thanks Tanager for your good work. John Bertram

Way beyond satisfied. Awed! Super friendly, hard-working, conscientious people. A couple of teams came through, split up the tasks, and a 3-day project with multiple trees and large shrubs was over and done in one day. Large trees, small trees, all expertly evaluated for proper trimming and delimbing (or removal, if necessary), work was carefully explained. Experts in their craft: fun to watch them drop limbs and branches where they didn't damage shrubs and buildings, even though the tree and limbs were right over the shrubs, or in tight spots such as next to the house or over the fence line. I loved the fact that they did not have to bring in heavy equipment such as ladder/aerial trucks and that I didn't have to take down fencing or gates for them to get in and out. They scurried in and up, climbed around, did their work, cut it up, hauled it off to the front yard, and chipped it all up, leaving it cleaner than when they arrived. The cost was super-reasonable; less than half of what some of the most expensive estimates that I received (for even less work!). I owe my neighbor big time for telling me about Tanager.
Follow up - A couple of years later, I needed some immediate service and they were there promptly and took care of the issue in record time, at half the cost that I expected. Once again, beyond satisfied! Thrilled.
