I was out of town during a recent wind event when a large portion of a poplar tree came down onto my garage. I returned home the next day to find the downed tree and after a quick google search came up with Double J. I called and Justin was able to swing by that same day and provided an estimate.

I didn't obtain the normal three estimates and just had Double J Tree Service remove the downed trunk and the rest of the entire tree along with the stump being ground down. Justin was very courteous and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me in a professional manner and answered all of my questions.

Don't follow my example. Get your three estimates, and make sure you include Double J. I have no idea if Double J will be the cheapest but I do know that Double J will be one of the best.

I can not recommend this company enough . Extremely professional ! Got the job done quick and with expertise . I had a large willow and it was over my pergola attached to the house and they got it down with no issues at all. I was very impressed . I have a 10 ft wall in the back yard along with a giant lavender bush next to it they had to work around and they figured it out effortlessly . I also have a chicken coop and run and they did such a good job working around it and trying there best to not disturb them. They got the whole tree down and I swear y’all wouldn’t even know they were here . The time they spent to clean up the yard was extremely impressive . It literally looked like they had not been there nor a tree . The price was incredible for the job. I received quotes from several companies and this one was the right one for me (great price) and I am so happy I went with them . One of the other larger companies in the area not only quoted me a crazy higher amount they also asked me to remove a huge lavender bush my entire chain link fence which is only 4 ft tall and the chicken run . Which I couldn’t imagine not just taking down the tree myself at that point 😉. Long story short go with double j tree service you will not regret it !! Thanks you guys !!

Justin and crew did an awesome job. Showed up on time and knocked out my trees like was discussed during our initial meeting a few weeks ago.

Excellent service! After 3 quotes from other companies I just couldn’t bring myself to run with any of them and then I called Double J. Right away Justin responded and was able to come out the same day for a quote. He shook my hand and was respectful! He did not get irritated with my questions and answered them all. Was able to have my tree removed with in a month for a great price. The crew was great and cleaned up way better than I was expecting! Highly recommend them and looked forward to having them prune our locust trees soon!

We just had a tree stump removed from our front planter by them. They were easy to communicate with, their price was reasonable, they were on time for the appointment, they were professional and competent, and protected our house from stump chips during the grind. The chip pile after the grind is easy to put into a trash can or, in our case, back into the planter. I'm attaching before and after photos.

Very professional, nice and responsive. Knew what kinda tree it was based upon the stumps and made it look like they were never there. My wife and I are very impressed and will have him back to do some tree trimming in the backyard. Overall, fantastic experience.

Double J Tree Service are fantastic! I reached out via their website after our maple split following a wind storm and they immediately got in touch with me asking questions, asking for photos, and then were onsite by the end of the week. This crew was outstanding from start to finish! Justin took the time to explain the unique needs of each of tree and how/why they would be uniquely pruned. Communication throughout the project was outstanding, they showed up on time and cleanup was immaculate. They worked hard and fully earned all 5 stars.

No joke, literally the day before our tree fell we had Justin from Double J Tree Service out to give us a quote on another tree; our poor maple that died. They came back out quickly and took care of both trees with efficiency and professionalism. Justin and his team removed a tree and our mound, removed a few shrub stumps, and planted a new tree in a different location. They were very punctual, hard working, and experts at their craft. We were very impressed with Double J Tree Service from start to finish. Our tree was giant, close to our house, and with massive roots starting to cause significant damage. We sought out input from reputable local businesses on who to use for this big of a project and every single one referred us to Double J, as Justin was also a certified arborist. All communication for getting a quote and scheduling was quick and respectful. We watched the whole removal and we were impressed with their skill, priority for safety, and constant communication (including praising each other for nailing particularly challenging branches-we love a business where employees encourage each other). The work site was left clean when they finished and I can tell you my stump grinding looks significantly more thorough than many others that have been done in the neighborhood. If you are looking for someone who knows their stuff, does the job well, and will give you a fair price for a tree removal, Double J is our recommendation.

We had a really great experience with Double J. Our 75+ year old tree was in desperate need of a total clean out. Justin spent a lot of time explaining why we should trim the tree, and what needed to come out. The quoted price was a lot, but more than fair for the scope of the work.
