Rick, the owner of Old Town Electric, IS.THE.BEST.!! My electrical issue was kind of hard to diagnose. He was relentless and would not give up until the problem was solved. Rick is so professional and knowledgeable. He absolutely went the extra mile and stayed in contact with me to make sure the repair fixed the issue. He even put new LED bulbs in my porch light because he saw that it was too dim. (Yes, he was still here after dark!)

Don't bother to call anybody else before you contact Rick at Old Town Electric. He is your go-to guy!

Rick is professional, knowledgeable, personable and takes pride in his work. We had some unusual wiring issues that Rick diagnosed quickly and had our lights working again. We would highly recommend Old Town Electric and will use them again for any of our electrical work in the future.

Rick was on time, accommodating to my work schedule, knowledgeable and kind hearted. His communication was also excellent providing me with an update when an unexpected delay in his arrival occurred.

I had originally thought that our electrical issue was a much bigger problem than what it turned out to be. After the quick fix (and a sigh of relief from me), Rick was generous enough to educate me about all things electrical from wattage and amps to light bulbs and how to obtain the lighting we were looking for. I truly appreciated the fact that he was happy to answer all the questions I had.

Rick has earned me as a customer for as long as he is in business. If you are in need of electrical work and are looking for someone thorough and knowledgeable in what they do, do not hesitate to give Rick a call.

Duing our bath RM remodel, he added/relocated some outlets and switches, upgrated LED fixtures, and added quiet exhaust fans. These guys do great work. When work is done right you don't even notice. Great job guys!

Needed a couple light fixtures hung in my house and couple plugs moved from one wall to another and they did an excellent job and was very professional. I will be using them again for my rentals. Their quality is why I'll use them again you don't get any better these days!

What a great experience! Rick was very thorough and knowledgeable and helped us out greatly after a flood in our house. He is very personable and was more than willing to educate me through the process! He took his time to ensure that our issues were taken care of and done right. This was no easy job for him and he did it with a smile on his face the entire time. He not only did a great job but also provided us with a name of a colleague that may be able to help with our flood reconstruction. Rick at Old Town Electric hooked up my sauna, and he did a great job! I got a few bids, but Rick was the most thorough and really focused on finding solutions that worked within my budget. Genuine and easy to work with. He also took care of the permit and inspection- excellent work. I’m really happy with how it all turned out and would definitely hire him again. Highly recommend!

Black Diamond Electric was professional and quick with the installation of solar panels on our home. They were sub-contracted by Powur which handled all of the design and permitting requirements for our solar system.

Pell Solar / Black Diamond Electric worked with me and treated me like their best customer throughout year-and-a-half that passed between initial contact and installation. Services and technical expertise were excellent. I will call upon them again when I am ready to install batteries and inverters and a generator.

We had our solar system installed by BDE. The crew was very personable and answered our questions as they were doing the install. They completed it in less than a day. As soon as the inspection was completed our system was up and running. We have not had to pay for electric power since. I fully recommend Black Diamond Electric for their installation and support. We did not buy our system from them, but I understand that they are now selling systems as well.

The invert went out a year ago, I called Solar Edge and No one would help me to get it fixed, of course they wanted to sell me more panels, they told me I needed to call the installer? They did the install, I had no idea who they contracted to do the install. After calling every Solar company around the area, a 5 month process, trying to find anyone that could help me. Black Diamond electrical was the only Solar company that would return my call. They called Solar edge got a new one still on warranty, installed it at no charge. Well it went out again and Black Diamond took the bull by the horns and took care of me again. All the electricians they sent to my house were wonderful, respectful, and ordered me a new one it’s installed again and I’m back on solar. I wouldn’t go to any other company besides Black Diamond electrical for any of my electrical work from now going forward.
