Selvin's Landscaping did an excellent job planting emerald privacy trees all around the backyard of our new house. From the estimate to the completion of the job, Edwin Lopez was very responsive, professional and he paid great attention to detail. They did an excellent work cleaning up the multiple layers of messy red mulch left by the previous owner around the fence perimeter and created a beautiful line of green emerald trees, plus two new blue spruce. Edwin was very attentive to the project to make sure everything is absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend Selvin's Landscaping to anyone.

We hired Selvin's Landscaping in 2020 to build a new paver patio, outdoor kitchen and paver front porch; they also re-landscaped our entire yard, front and back, including planting, new sod, lighting and drainage.

We were referred to Selvin by a former client, who lauded his professional communication, commitment to quality and the talent of his team.

Selvin was not the least expensive option we considered, but he charges a fair price and honors his word. Most importantly, he and his team did an exceptional job with our project. They delivered high-quality craftsmanship on every facet of the engagement.

Selvin's landscape designer, Alann, was a joy to work with and listened intently to our vision for our new back yard. Watching his design come to life has been breathtaking.

Selvin's foreman, Mauricio, consulted us on major decisions, communicated effectively and was courteous and friendly, as was the rest of his team. Rarely did a day of construction complete without a visit from Selvin himself (which is impressive given that our large project took multiple weeks to complete).

We've hired several contractors since purchasing our home in Elmhurst, and our experience with Selvin and his team tops the list. I highly recommend him for landscaping and hardscaping. It's clear that he takes great pride in delivering quality outdoor work.

Selvin and his company did a great job with my patio and pavilion. Selvin is a knowledgeable and professional business owner, and he answers his calls and texts!!! His employees are very experienced and helpful. The whole group of people is a great organized and solid company that I recomend with 5 stars review.

Selvin and his team performed a 3-4 week project at my home and were a pleasure to work with. They redesigned our front walkway entrance, created a sidewalk path near the garage, created a concrete bed behind the garage, created concrete patio for a new pergola, redid our entire lawn, and decorated with new plants and foliage. It was a complete transformation that ended up brilliantly.

Throughout the process Selvin was transparent, helpful, and solution-driven to help us achieve the style and quality we sought, all while keeping our budget in mind. His attentiveness is fantastic; he absolutely cares about his clients and takes pride in the work. His team is an extension of his top qualities. This is a company that we’ll continue to work with as we have complete trust in their ability to provide creative solutions and perform exceptional work.

Additionally, we’ve contracted Selvin’s company to maintain our lawn, and are planning another large project that build upon the wonderful work they’ve created.

Absolutely thrilled with the work done by Selvin and his team. From start to finish, their team was professional, attentive, and incredibly skilled.

They transformed our backyard, we had an hill with overgrown grass and weeds. Selvin and team constructed a 5ft retaining wall and installed a beautiful vinyl fence.

The communication throughout the project was top-notch, and they completed the job on time and within budget. What really stood out was their dedication to customer satisfaction—they went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the project and how its going to look at the end.

I have had multiple projects done by them.
- I had my driveway and sidewalk extended last year, they were quick and efficient. Finished the project in 2 days, was impressed with speed and quality of work.
- Today his crew came to aerator the yard. The guys were quick and helped me understand what to do afterwards.
Throughout the years have also had yard work done through his services.

I had wanted to do artificial grass in my backyard for 6 years! Finally decided to do it and looked online for companies that did that. Selvin’s Landscape had great reviews so I called. Best decision ever! The crew was fantastic, respectful of the property, answered all my questions and concerns and customer service was also great!
All my neighbors are jealous! When they see it, they are wow’d by it all and agree that Selvin did an amazing job!

We have used Selvin’s Landscaping for both our lawn care and our snow removal for many years. Never a problem and always top service. During the heavy snowfall in early Dec. 2025, they were here several times and kept out long driveway clear. They mark the driveway so the lawn stays safe.

Selvin’s Landscaping does a wonderful job in maintaining my lawn. They don’t blow grass cuttings on my house, and they don’t destroy my flower beds. If I have any concerns, or problems, Selvin or his staff respond to me in a timely fashion. He built me a beautiful backyard patio. His workers showed up on time, and did everything that was listed in the contract. Selvin is very professional, and knowledgeable about construction work
that relates to landscaping projects.

This is a review that is long over due. Selvin landscaping has been taking care of my lawn for 6+ years. They have been outstanding professionals. Their Team is very accommodating including the office staff which is always reachable even Selvin himself. At times when I may have forgotten to unlock my gate I will get a phone call they will take care of getting it done. If I have lawn furniture and Dog toys I have not picked up yet their Team will take care of it. Selvin Landscaping always has their customers as their priority. Ozzy and his team did a phenomenal job. We were getting water in our basement when it rained. To remedy this, they installed several underground drainage systems. They also removed an old retaining wall and installed a new brick one. Overall, he was very professional and kept me updated on the project the entire time. I would definitely recommend him.

Great experience working with this landscaping company. They came out quickly to provide an estimate and were very helpful in offering suggestions to make the areas look more neat, intentional, and updated.

The work was completed in just one day, and the results exceeded my expectations. Everything looks clean, well thought out, and really improved the overall appearance.

Ossie and team did an exceptional job of snow plowing and shoveling my driveway and sidewalks this past winter. I highly recommend them!

Osvaldo was very helpful in guiding me through the decision to choose pavers over concrete. Although the company specializes exclusively in paver installations, he took the time to explain the long-term benefits, which I appreciated as a first-time homeowner.

The patio design turned out beautiful, and the craftsmanship really stands out. The team worked hard and made sure everything was done correctly, they definitely know what they’re doing. Overall, I’m very happy with how the final result came together.

Ozzy at Garcia's project is a phenomenal dude to work with. Beforehand I did my hardscape myself, I like to call myself talented for sure but I certainly have limits haha.

Ozzy came in and we worked together to create a little vision of how our small walkway will be. The last photo was our before and everything else is the after. The crew at Garcia's project is FAST. I was shocked at how fast something could be done. Helps when you have the knowledge and tools for sure.

Lots of nice cuts, we bought and they installed LED nighttime lights for us on a timer. Everything was hidden and effective. Price point was great for comparison to other opportunities I had such as concrete and stamped concrete. The photos really speak for themselves regarding the project. Couldn't be happier with the turnout. Snag some plants and have a blast enjoying the front yard this season way more than I did previously.

If you are looking for a guy for hardscape, I wouldn't search much further. They can do it all here!!

We got our old grass removed (was half dead, covered in crab grass, and also had grubs). Ozzy and his team removed everything, leveled the ground, and laid fresh sod. He also installed the boxwood shrubs and hydrangea tree, hydrangea bushes, and ornamental grass in our flower beds, which were previously empty and haggard looking. I told him my vision and he offered very helpful feedback in creating the final design. His communication with me was wonderful and he gave very clear instructions for our lawn care. His follow up has been great as well. Very professional and friendly. Would highly recommend.
