The best craftsmanship and group of family people you will ever meet . They got my furnace and air conditioner in and done by 3:00 pm I really enjoyed meeting and talking to them . I would recommend them very highly on and heating and air conditioner service .

Gene's just did a total system replacement for me & I'm very happy with the results! This was a big job, and these guys knocked it out and did quality work. Thanks guys!

Rick and his team did an outstanding job installing a new AC and furnace at my daughter’s house. They worked very efficiently and kept the work site clean. They got the entire new system installed between 8 am and 3 pm. They even had to do additional work given they were updating the furnace to a high efficiency system which meant running PVC to vent the unit outside the house. The total price was competitive.

I recently had my AC replaced by Gene's and the entire process was flawless. Service tech Mark did an excellent job determining my issue and installers Mike and Layne did an excellent job installing my new equipment. I would definitely recommend Gene's for all heating and cooling purchases and repairs!

Through two husbands and five houses, I have always used Gene’s Appliance and they have been wonderful.

During the summer of 2025, we had several days of extremely hot weather and our central air unit quit working.

After calling the office on a Friday night, Rick, the owner, showed up Saturday morning. I was very impressed with such fast service.

Ultimately, we had another unit installed in the upstairs of our home and Gene’s did that work for us too. I am a real neat freak, but I should not have worried because the workers were very careful and kept things very tidy, and there was a minimum of mess. They also cleaned up at the end of every workday, and I had to do nothing more than a little quick vacuuming.

My experiences with Gene’s have all been very positive and their prices are also extremely competitive.

This business is NOT based in Alton..The call center is based overseas and they dispatch independent contractors. Very poor customer service.

They are so unprofessional..kept me waiting for over a hr. After the 3 hrs . The guy called and said he would be there....but didn't tell me he was comming from chesterfield

As many have said. This is NOT a local company. These "technicians" are NOT technicians. They are not licensed and insured, so if they break it, you still bought it.

Very good, prompt & knowledgeable. Very few work on Samsung in my area, was glad to find them & would recommend

This business is terrible! There location is not even in the U.S. Do NOT do service with this company they dress unprofessional and they are very disrespectful! I got charged $85 for my service with them when he was only here for 5 minutes! Please do not do service with this company.

Jose was a top notch repairman, knowledgeable, courteous and reasonable rates. Even cleaned up and kept me updated throughout the process. Highly recommend this gentleman!

Do not use this company everything is done through third parties including a call center in India. The technician showed up 50 minutes late, plugged the appliance in and stated that it worked and left. The appliance does not work and trying to reschedule I went through two call centers.
