I recently bought a house, for my wife and 2 month old son, that was sold "as is" and had a lot of issues right off the bat. I called Aurora Electric Inc. and spoke with Peter to take a look at my new place. He was very friendly and was able to check out my electrical issues SAME DAY!!! He didn't only give me a quote, but also let me know my Aurora code violations that needed to be addressed. I asked him about good light fixtures for the kitchen and he PERSONALLY sent me links of what a good brand would be that had a good price. The electricians arrived ON TIME and kept their work area very CLEAN during and after their work was completed. I was so pleased that I even asked them to do some extra work the following day. It's not just paying for the bare minimum. It's about them caring about your home as if they were living there as well. GIVE THEM A CALL and you'll experience the best electricians your money can buy. It's about QUALITY work when it can come down to fire hazards. I won't even get quotes anywhere else from now on! It would just be a waste of time!!!

A little bummed that I planned time around having an estimate done for a service entrance upgrade that fell through. I understand that stuff happens but I feel like if I didn't call and say "where's the tech at?" I never would've heard anything at all. Half hour in between calls back etc. I think some honest feedback would be that communication could be improved.

I can't give enough praise to Aurora Electric. Peter and Jose were awesome. Not only were they quick to respond to our problem, but they were very thorough in their work and safety is their utmost concern. Peter went over all our options and was so gracious when we needed it most. Very professional and caring!

Peter came to my home as an emergency visit around 7pm 6/7/22. i had a main breaker arcing in my panel....fixed my issue quickly and was professional. years of experience and knowledge. arrived in 20 minutes! definitely recommended

Called Aurora Electric for an emergency situation at my home. The electrician showed up much faster than I anticipated, took care of my problem and made the repairs in less than an hour. I was impressed by their service which was priced reasonably.

Tried to schedule a quote and had a no show. I called multiple times to see what happened and was told they would find out and contact me back. No one ever did.

Last night our main power breaker bit the big one and not only did they make it out here in less than an hour to assess the situation but it was resolved the next day. With all of the bad weather recently I know they are super busy so I am very appreciative of the quick service. Peter is super friendly and knowledgeable, would definitely recommend this company for anyone in the area.

This crew is amazing! Not only do they do phenomenal work, but they do it at a competitive price. We most recently brought them into our home when our ceiling fell down in our livingroom, and exposed non-code knob and tube wiring.

Installed 10 LED recessed lights in Family Room and Kitchen. Quality install, fast, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Will work with again. Thanks for the new lights just before the long winter nights begin.

Amazing service! We had an electrical emergency and they were able to come out and fix the issue the same day. We worked directly with the owner Peter and he is fantastic. Very professional, knowledgeable, and kind.

I haven’t even done business with this company and had a bad experience with them. I called to get an estimate on the installation of one switch on a 3 way line. I explained my situation, then the guy quoted me a price for 1 switch, I thought it was high but I was going to give him a chance to do the work, however before I could, he hung up on me. I called back, he had my number go directly to voicemail and refuse to answer my call. I would recommend being careful of a business that has bad customer service for calls asking extremely simple questions. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend.

10 out of 10 would hire again. Peter and his team are great at what they do. Peter is extremely responsive when called/texted, and he goes above and beyond to explain everything clearly before and as he does it. Could not have asked for better service and will reach out next time we have electrical issues.

Peter from Aurora Electric provided excellent service. When an electrical issue arose on a Saturday evening, he responded and arrived in an impressively speedy fashion.
I was very satisfied with his professional assessment; he demonstrated a current and solid understanding of the issue. Peter quickly and reliably completed the fix. Highly recommended for timely and knowledgeable electrical work. I will be using him and referring him to others.

On Monday 01.12.2026 at 4:30 am a gang of teenagers attempted to steal my husband's truck. His truck was parked in our driveway in-between two other vehicles, they were able to get the truck started and in moving the truck crashed into the side of my home ripping my electric meter off the home, causing a surgethrought our home! After the police arrived took their report, dusted for fingerprints etc, I needed to get an electrician STAT! I'm big on reviews and whom was at tye top of the list?? Aurora Electric! I called very early that Monday morning, Peter answered the phone and talked me off the ledge, and said he'd be out within the hour! Calm, cool, and collected, got right to work and within 6 hours that Monday we were back to somewhat normal conditions. Now if APD can do the same....well see about that! I will be screaming from the rooftops of Peter's professionalism!! He even rescheduled another appointment to make sure my family had electricity and most importantly HEAT!!! I cannot thank you enough for everything you did to ease the chaos of that day...I wish I could leave more than 5 stars!! #forevergrateful Lisa

Peter and his guys are great. Had what I originally thought was just a bad breaker. Come to find out after taking the panel off it was the whole box that looked like it was going to cause a fire.
They came out after hours and were able to replace the panel and the breakers.
They are also reasonably priced.
Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

My 175 year old house needed help. Peter was very responsive, prompt and thorough when txt or called. They replaced the electric box, basement conduit and lighting, grounded the house and replaced outlets with new code boxes. The doorbell and porch light were also repaired. The power was off for only four hours, and an extension cord hooked up to use in that timeframe. I could not be happier.
