Do not use this company if you want your electric project done right! They installed a 220V line for us in our house last fall for a hot tub. When the hot tub people came to install the hot tub we learned that the breaker box Hi-Lite installed was wired incorrectly (even though the box itself tells you where each wire should go). This could have killed someone and also could have fried our hot tub. We called and argued and eventually got our money refunded. BUT, the issues didn't stop there. The breaker continued to trip, randomly for the next few months. Never when the hot tub was kicking on or running, just completely randomly. We finally called them because their work was warrantied, they came out and replaced the breaker, stating it was bad. The problem persisted after the new breaker was installed and actually got more frequent. They sent another person out, who then said there was something wrong with the hot tub because the electric work was correct. As it turns out, the breakers they installed (Eaton) are not compatible with hot tubs and frequently cause this issue. We found this out after calling the hot tub people back for a service call. Google can confirm this issue with Eaton breakers and hot tubs, so I'm not sure how, as licenced electricians (3 different ones from this company) they wouldn't know this. Needless to say, it has been a giant headache and we will not be doing business with them ever again.

Dejon did a great job installing my timer switch for my outside lights. Friendly, informative, and fast. Highly recommended.

The cost for the diagnosis was a bit high, and we did notice that a few screws were missing from the outlets afterward. The electricity issue we called for was identified and fixed as best as possible.

Nick was great. His previous knowledge of workshops really helped when planning outlet and switch locations. Clean, kind, and all around professional.

I needed a GCFI outlet put in and Austin did it perfectly and quickly. He was great to work with and even liked my dogs! Will have him back to do some additional work.

Sorry, but to clarify my rating, I called about getting a quote for a Level 2 EV Charger installed in my garage. Google kept steering me here in the sponsored results, which I now usually turn off. However, When I called I was told that there would be an $85.00 just to come and quote the job. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but nothing says we want to do buisness, or not in this case, like just pay me for the privilege of my quote....

The customer service level Ed demonstrated was outstanding. He thoroughly checked out the issues, explained what he found and the needed repair process. Completed the repairs and showed pictures of the finished job.

The technician arrived to inspect my ceiling fan and discovered old cloth wiring still present in my home. What was initially thought to be a simple fix ended up requiring a complete rewiring of my entire house, with an estimated cost of around $20,000. Additionally, a partial rewiring was quoted at $5,200. To top it off, I was charged $300 just for receiving a high quote and pressured to purchase a membership.

While I value the importance of safety in our home, I couldn't help but feel that the focus was primarily on the cost of the project, which left me feeling discouraged. As a result, I decided to seek services from another company.

I feel like they had been trying to take advantage of me with pricing. I requested to have a 36" ceiling medallion installed in my low/normal ceiling condo. I sent in all the additional details about my home and the medallion, but they didn't express any particular issues. When they got to my home, I was quoted $915+. Of course I canceled the job and said no. Then I got additional quotes from other electricians. All the other electricians in town quoted about $175 to $400, but most were about $200 to $300. And they were all properly licensed & insured, with good reputation. I ended up having a different electrician company install it instead. The total was about $300 from the other company; they were very professional and did a fantastic job.

Misael is an absolute pleasure to work with. His attention to detail and his ability to explain all of the actions that he takes is phenomenal and really makes a customer feel comfortable.

Jake was Great answered all of our questions very professional respectful knowledgeable no question made dumb for asking very pleasant and patient he was also very focused on the job ckeced everything. I'm so happy I chose Hi Lite I will be a life long customer. From the first conversation to seeing and working with Jake I just knew I picked the right Company
