I have used some of the chain lawn maintenance services before turning to the Lawn Doctors. While you'll pay a slightly higher price, what I like is that when they visit my lawn, they are clearly taking the appropriate amount of time for the applications. Seems like the low cost businesses are trying to see how fast they can do it and they almost always miss spots. Plus the pest control is excellent!

Staff is very professional & always calls me ahead of time to give me adequate time ensure gates are unlocked, dogs are inside & yard is picked up. The office staff & owners are very responsive to any questions that I have and are always willing to fully explain to my level of understanding & satisfaction. Their Turf Alert mails are appropriate, informative & sent out at the right times. They plan to set you for success.

Lawn Doctor is the best! Kim and her staff analyze the situation and thoroughly explained the treatment plan. Our grass hasn’t looked this good in years! The technicians who apply the applications are very respectful of our property. I highly recommend Lawn Doctor

Been using Lawn Doctor for five years. From day one they provided what I was looking for. The gentleman came over, looked at our lawn and explained the required work. Seeding was a chore, they do have an injection seeding machine and Guarantee grass will grow and it did. We’ve always had one of the best lines in the neighborhood no matter where we lived and I do appreciate the fact that they provided customer service for what we needed not just a blanket idea. Interestingly they’re willing to come out to your house and look at your mind the other for my use for over 20 years refused to even answer my phone call so obviously they got fired and I’m glad that that we switch the long doctor

My new lawn is AMAZING! A shout out to Dan, Doug, and the crew for the fantastic transformation they made in my yard. From start to finish, this team truly exceeded my expectations. Dan made several visits this summer to assess my damaged lawn and offer options. The crew performing the work was a “well-oiled machine”. When they accidentally hit an improperly buried irrigation line — not their fault —they quickly addressed and fixed the problem. Following the work, Lawn Doctor made weekly visits to assess the lawn’s progress and fine tune as needed. Kudos to Lawn Doctor.

We began using Lawn Doctor earlier this year after moving into a new home with a yard that needed some work. We have been impressed with Lawn Doctor's work, especially their power seeding that we did this spring in a large (previously dirt) area in our backyard. We have appreciated Kim, Dan, and Doug's responsiveness and attention to detail. They have been happy to answer any and all questions as we navigate our first time having to maintain a yard. We plan to use Lawn Doctor for a long time moving forward.

Lawn Doctor of Batavia is the best lawn service I’ve used. I’ve been with them for 5+ years and have consistently been impressed with their commitment to serving their customers. Whether a phone call or visit, they will take the time needed to discuss your concerns and make honest recommendations. More than once, they’ve even given me DIY directions to address an issue myself.

A few years ago I had Lawn Doctor reseed my front yard to address issues I had battled for years. After power seeding, they made repeated trips that fall and the next spring to ensure the results were as expected. I didn’t have to call or ask, they just showed up to check the progress. After two years, I’m still amazed with the results.

The lawn doctor team is incredible! We purchased a property in April of last year, and the yard was in complete disrepair! The lawn doctor team was the first people I called. They have always been incredibly timely, responsive, and provide specific recommendations for my yard.

I have used Lawn Doctor since 2017. Prior, I had fertilized my own lawn not as frequent as their program suggest. I realized that by me doing it the results were not as good as I expected, spending more $$ overall per year. They respond in reasonable time to my inquiries. My lawn appearance is significantly better than rest of the lawns in the neigborhood.

I absolutely LOVE the Lawn Doctor of Batavia, IL! They made my previous lawn look great & have since TOTALLY transformed the lawn at my new residence! It was a complete mess when we moved in but the grass is so much thicker & greener PLUS is now 100% WEED FREE!!! (The lawn was more weeds than grass. Ugh!) They always send a personalized email for the status of your lawn & send helpful tips throughout the year. INCLUDING in the winter! I will FOREVER use the Lawn Doctor of Batavia!

Lawn Doctor's owners Kim and Dan are very hands-on and responsive any time I have a question or concern. They have the answers and can go into a lot of depth if I want a full understanding of any lawn issues that come up. They have convenient payment options. The employees who do the weed control & fertilization are very nice to work with too.

I have been using lawn doctor for about 4 years or more and the change in my lawn has been remarkable for the better. My huge problem was creeping charlie taking over several areas of my lawn. Additionally, dead patches, dandelions and other basic weeds were prevalent and treated. My lawn is thicker and healthier than it has ever been. Any time I email Kim/Dan, I get a reply within same day or 24 hrs. I LOVE the regular emails explaining weather/seasonal issues re problems/suggestions/solutions for the lawn. The staff who provide the treatments are friendly. Communication is EXCELLENT & CONSISTENT through emails, texts, sticky notes and flags in the yard for all services. I would recommend Lawn Doctor of Batavia-Aurora to anyone without the time/knowledge to deal with a troubled lawn- and to maintain the lawn!!!

Lawn Doctor (run by Kim and Dan Toth) is a class operation. Our lawn had a lot of clover and creeping charlie almost 3 years ago. We started with Lawn Doctor in the fall the first year and had one treatment and the aeration done. Then the next summer we had the whole procedure done. Our friends and family were amazed with how great our lawn looked. We were amazed. The owners and their staff are great at communication. They always email you ahead of time when the service will be provided. They send out helpful tips about the lawn and the weather. We are super happy with their service.

We have used Lawn Doctor for at least a decade, and chose them because my previous lawn service used liquid fertilizer or some other liquid on the lawn and killed it. I preferred their use of solid granular fertilizer and grub prevention, and only using liquid weed killer where it was needed for specific weeds. I also appreciated the seeding method of inserting the seed directly into the ground rather than spreading it on the surface. Their method is like the method used by farmers to plant corn and other crops. I also appreciated the evaluation of the lawn when requested and their advice as to what it needed, the problems that may exist, and why some areas didn't seem to sustain the grass well. They were always helpful and when I thought that there was a problem, Dan or a technician would come out and take a look at the lawn. They let me know that they were coming, and were open to change in schedule in case my grandchildren were to come over and play in the lawn.

Prior to using Lawn Doctor of Batavia, we were using another large competitor. My lawn would start out the season looking good and then progress to a patchy unhappy lawn. We finally switched to Lawn Doctor after one of our neighbors recommended them. What a difference! Our lawn is healthier and happier than ever. Lawn Doctor is a small, family-run business, and owners Kim and Dan are easily accessible and very responsive to questions and concerns. We have used Lawn Doctor for the past 3 years. Our lawn is healthy and green. The owner, Kim Toth, is amazing. If you need to reschedule the service you just email her and she changes it. Also if you have new weeds come up in between services they come out. Natural for our dog which is extremely important. Our dog can go after a service in 2 hours. Literally the best personal and professional lawn service we have ever used!

Our lawn looks better and better every year. We used to do our own fertilizer but could never achieve the results our neighbor got with Lawn Doctor. The first season we switched, we knew we wouldn't go back to doing it ourselves with bags from the hardware store. The staff is great and they always respond quickly if we call. Honestly, they pay better attention to the condition of the lawn than we do and make suggestions to head off issues before they become real problems.

My lawn was a horrible mess even though I had another lawn service at the time. I signed with Lawn Doctor when I saw how beautiful my neighbor's lawn looked. And I have been very pleased with how they rescued my lawn, so much so that I recommended them to my daughter as well. An added service they provide are their newsletters emailed to customers with advice on caring for their lawns and shrubs, and warnings of pests, fungus and the like throughout the seasons. No other lawn service has ever provided this type of continuous contact with their customers.

We started a lawn care plan with Lawn Doctor in the spring of 2023 that included fertilization and weed control. We saw much improvement in our lawn over the summer. In September, we had our lawn power seeded and then strictly adhered to the instructions that Lawn Doctor gave us for maximizing the process. Our lawn looks AMAZING. We have already locked in and paid for our 2024 service with Lawn Doctor. Give them a try!!!
