We needed a plumbing inspection on a potential new property. A & P performed a thorough inspection and gave us valuable information we needed.

We have been using A&P for many years now, and we are satisfied with the service.

I used A&P to clean out the grease traps in both of my coffee shops. Very professional, quick, and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Justin & Nick came and took care of everything! We had a sump pump fail, which resulted in flooding, and loss of water heater usage - they replaced and repaired everything quickly, politely, professionally, and thoroughly - all was in working order when they left. I'm a FAN!

I contacted these guys on the recommendation of my plumber who had come out to investigate a stopped main line and declared my septic tank full. Ugh. Anyone on septic knows this is a bit of a problem. By this time it's after hours so I know I've got a problem in terms of getting anyone out ASAP.

So, I call these folks. Someone, to my surprise, actually picks up. She tells me they are at low-tide in terms of available time/personnel for a couple of reasons. First, it has been raining nonstop for days and a lot of people are having problems. Second, and more importantly, someone in the company has gone to Las Vegas to get married and has taken everyone with them, so they're as full as my septic tank.

I beg, I plead, I sound as pathetic as I possibly can. She battles mightily, but eventually she relents and puts me on the schedule for the next day.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

Now I could cut this right here, post my 5 stars and walk, but this is not the end of the good deeds done by these folks.

Next day rolls around and we get a call. The crew is running late, but they're coming. They're booked, they're tired, it's 6 PM, but they're on their way.

About 7 or so 'they' roll up. "They" is a single, exhausted guy. He's clearly exhausted, so I offer some coffee, food if he wants it, and heartfelt thanks for not bailing on me.

He goes about his work, and despite his long day and the late hour, he keeps his good graces, is conversational, friendly, explains what he's doing, goes about getting it done, thanks me and is on his way.

Now I guess some people will say "well, big deal, he's just doing his job" While that's true to some degree, try pumping out septic tanks for 12-14 hours and keeping on a smile on YOUR face when it's 8PM, you're away from your family, dead on your feet and going on to yet another job after this stop. Seriously, the guy was a damn Trojan.

Bottom line, everyone here hooked me up. They didn't have to take the job and they did. They didn't have to come out and work until after dark to get it done and they did.

Great local business. Give em a call....

Highly recommend A&P, from 1st call to final bill, all was above board and transparent, and their employee, "Will", really impressed us with his listening skills, quick determination of the problem and how to remedy, then his hard and fast work to fix it, along with telling us what he recommended and what the costs would be, ahead of time.

Good when they show up. Have issues with their service times. Dont like having to pay my staff to come in early, then a and p cant make it. Unfortunately it happens too often. Asked for a small discount, their response was if they had give a discount to every appointment they missed, they couldn't afford it. Tells you something about their commitment.

The company does a great job. They have marked the fields for me so my clients know exactly there they are and have never ended up with a "Pandora's box".

Fair pricing, and pleasant to deal with. Our company uses them several times a year at various locations across Chicagoland. I would highly recommend.

We trust A&P for repairs and sewer maintenance. Today, Will came out on an emergency call just in the nick of time: we have a sump pump for a multi-unit townhome running 24/7. As he arrived, we discovered the culprit: Next unit filled with water. Owners live off site, pipes froze. 1 foot in basement. City, fire, & police came to shut off water. My sump pump was working to clear a swimming pool! Stabilized now, neighbor’s house is condemned, ceilings collapsed. Will communicated clearly, easing our mind and gave us a game plan for going forward. This is important when dealing with an HOA responsible for part of the cost. He also advised first responders who arrived when he did, clarifying the situation for official reports. Will is top-notch. We will be having A&P out for important updates to our system recommended by Will once the HOA gives us clearance. Keep an eye on your maintenance: it’s important and will save you in the long run. Thanks Will and A&P!

A&P has been taking care of our grease trap for a long time now! We signed up for the scheduled maintenance, so we get a call when we're due for a service. The crew are efficient, always do a great job, and are always open to us asking questions and providing us feedback and photos of our grease trap and its condition. The crew are also super courteous of our neighbors and use air fresheners to dispel any lingering odors.

I had an emergency situation. I contacted the office and spoke to Melissa. She arranged for someone to stop by the same day to take care of my issue. She also sent another individual to take care of another emergency right after the first job was done. Both issues were kind of related. Both issues were resolved the same day to my satisfaction. Melissa was very helpful and patient. I had to pay extra for the same day service which I was hoping that I didn't have to but it was an emergency and it was taken care of. I will use them again in the future.

I had an amazing experience with this company. They are honest and fair and they were able to fix my sewer line that had been repaired numerous times and failed. They stand behind their work like no other company i had dealt with. I highly recommend them and would never go anywhere else!

Used their service once around 5 years ago, and the service was ok. The next winter (yes in January) they called me offering an "inspection" of my septic so when the county "came" they will have the record... That was a big red flag (of a scam) Since then I changed the for another company and they don't stop calling me, I asked them to stop calling me without luck. I block them every time I see Ability Septic, but it looks like they change the # often.

We had a drain issue on a Sunday afternoon, we called A&P and had a great response time and professional encounter with Kenny the service technician. We highly recommend this company for any needs you may have. 5 stars!

It is RARE to find a company with the level of service I received today! Not only did they call me to remind me that my septic tank was due to be pumped (cause who really remembers when they had that done last), but they scheduled us immediately, arrived on time, called to make sure where they could park, and were courteous and kind even in the cold rain. The price they quoted me is exactly what I paid. They put my grass back exactly the way it was dug out so you could barely tell they were here and they cleaned even the smallest of puddles left from one hose! They made a "dirty job" a really great experience and I will happily refer them to anyone with a septic tank, catch basin, or grease trap! Thank you again Melissa, Justin and Patrick!!
