I can be difficult to find professional, reasonable, and trustworthy companies to have work done at your house. Polar is all three. Everyone from the owner down is fantastic to work with and they’re very quick to help out where they can. I cannot recommend this company enough. If you’re in the market for work done, they’re the best. Had a whole house filtration system and an RO system installed today and they did absolutely amazing work. Thanks again!

Excellent service from Zach and Jake. We had plumbing issues due to the age of our home. Called Monday and that afternoon Zach arrived with a plan. All repairs done by 1pm on Tuesday. Timely, efficient and the cost was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

This was our second engagement with Polar. They insulated the ductwork in our crawlspace and replaced the 30-year old gas furnace and A/C with a hybrid heat pump. The team was very efficient, polite and clean (they insist on wearing shoe coverings). They were able to do the whole system in one day because they had walked through it at the shop before showing up. And the Polar office staff was on top of things, even reaching out to get the info for our energy rebates. That shows that they care about the cost and our happiness with the project. Of course, they walked us through the installation. We have dealt with a few nightmare companies on our remodel projects, but Polar showed us that good companies and good people are still out there!

Polar gave me honest assessment and options for repair versus replace. Trust is high because they deliver peace of mind and real value in their services and products.

Don't remember the person's name I spoke to ,she was well versed in all aspects of the services offered cordial and well spoken ! Nick showed up the next morning with a phone call pryor to his arrival. When he arrived he introduced himself shook my hand and assessed the work to be done. Gave me the price and got to it. The work was professional clean and completed in a timely manner. I soon received a email asking if all work was to my satisfaction and once again thankful for calling Polar. Al is just a good, honest guy who is passionate about what he does. I had about a 10 year-old water heater on which an expansion tank had already failed me years earlier, and now the tank itself was down for the count. Al was familiar with the company that installed it and their subpar appliances and shoddy workmanship. I was pleased to hear that they have since shut down. But that made for a more complicated removal, including a couple unplanned runs to the store for additional tools/supplies. Al was totally undeterred, though, and wouldn't compromise, and committed himself to making sure my hot water was good to go before he left me that night.
I feel like I saw a few reviews that seemed to be from a few more "stick in the mud" type personalities that were a little more critical than his usual 5 star ratings... and I think I'd say he's a kind of fun loving guy with a kind of BIG personality, and I think it throws people off a little sometimes, haha! What i found is that this is because he really wants to diagnose the root issue and never just do some quick fix, so he just actually really cares, asks a lot of questions, and gets to the bottom of stuff. Any crook can talk pretty to ya and lull you into a sense of security, but real professionalism is getting it done ONCE, and getting it done RIGHT, and that's all this man does. Whatever it is, you won't regret having Al into your home or business to handle it!
Oh, and yes, Al, looks like the old tank got picked up just as planned, didn't see it when I got back home the next day. And I think I was enjoying a nice hot shower at that time when I missed your call that night, so THANKS AGAIN!

Last year our water heater blew!! I was lucky enough to call Davinroy plumbing amongst the other plumber numbers that came up. He was helpful over the phone and was able to do the job that day. Very fortunate. This time we had a piece of pipe missing and loud knocking pipes. He fixed everything the way it shud have been to begin with. House built in 1880. non plumbers did the updates. lol. Al is straight forward and honest. He cares about his work and it shows! He will show you and explain what he is doing. His prices are very reasonable. Being able to trust someone working for you is a big deal to me. I will always call Al if we need plumbing help! I recommend Al to any friends that need a plumber that they can Trust!!!!

Our hot water heater bit the dust after 18 years and was leaking badly. We had contacted another local plumbing service in the Belleville area for a replacement and was told that it would be a month before they could be of service (really?). So we contacted Al at A. Davinroy Plumbing. Al is a great guy and came to replace the old hot water heater within 2 hours from the phone call. Same day service! Al and his team did excellent work installing top of the line hot water heater and the cost was very reasonable too. Highly recommended!

Came in and saved my basement on a Sunday afternoon when my sump pump went out. Explained to me what he was doing, as he was doing it and left me confident in my basement and sump pump in the future. 10/10 would recommend and hire for future plumbing needs.

I had a leaking garbage disposal and Mr. Davinroy came out the same day to replace it, he was super knowledgeable and educated me on what and what he was doing and common issues with garbage disposal, He ensured the new garbage disposal didn’t leak before leaving making a few adjustments to ensure there wouldn’t be any issues. While the technical resolution was prompt, I found Mr. Davinroy’s communication style to be less than professional. His demeanor did not reflect the level of respect and courtesy one might expect from someone with his experience and background. As someone without plumbing expertise, I felt that his approach lacked the tact and patience needed to make me feel comfortable during the interaction.

Although I paid a fair amount for his time, I was left disappointed by the overall experience. For anyone considering this company, I recommend ensuring your issue is more complex before seeking their assistance.

I had called A Davinroy Plumbing and was happy to get a real person answer right away instead of your typical large company automated phone call. He was quick to come out and inspect our plumbing issue and extremely knowledgable. He took the time to explain and reasonably priced.

I have tried other companies in the past and I am so glad I found Davinroy Plumbing for the replacement of my new toilet. As it turned out the guys that installed my flooring sealed my existing toilet to the floor causing my flooring to lift when he tried to remove my existing toilet. Thankfully Aldo knew just what to do saving my flooring and ending in the perfect install. I will be recommending Davinroy Plumbing to anyone looking for a highly skilled honest plumber.

Al did a great job replacing my toilet and fixing a shower issue. He came on short notice and was very responsive. I would definitely use his services again and I highly recommend him.

Our hot water heater went out on Friday night, so we called Al. As busy as he was with all the calls he received from people whose basements had been flooded, he came out on Sunday and assessed our situation. Then he came out on Tuesday and replaced our hot water heater and then came back on Friday and repaired an outside Spigot and two indoor faucets. He was looking forward to Sunday since it would be his first day off in two weeks. Under those circumstances, he certainly could have put off helping us with the spigot and faucets, but we were very happy that he did not. Another thing we appreciated is that he explained to us what was necessary to be done, in order to take care of the problems, instead of doing whatever needed to be done with not much of an explanation.
