We have used rlg a couple of times already and each time, we have been completely satisfied with their professionalism, honesty, and work. They installed turf in our backyard and we love it! They also did pavers for a section that we needed because we didn't want people to get hurt as they delivered packages or mail. I highly recommend them. Communication is on point and they are very efficient in their projects. We know we will use them again in the near future.

As others have noted, you have a good chance that he will ghost you entirely at any point along the way. He came over last year to look at the project, provided samples, and gave me a quote. When I confirmed he then informed me he couldn't perform the job until three months later (not sure why he didn't mention that when he was providing the quote) - not ideal but better late than never and in the meantime I asked him to let me know if anything opened up sooner. Disappeared. By the time it was clear he wasn't going to respond or be able to do the job it was too late to get anyone else, and it honestly wasn't a big deal to wait another year to get my artificial turf replaced - it wasn't going to make a difference over the winter.
I gave the benefit of the doubt - people have any number of things going on in their lives - and wrote him again this year to get ahead of the Spring demand as I had already invested time and energy into the scoping, quote and products last year. He actually responded - which was a surprise - was very apologetic that he "dropped the ball" and said that he was available and just needed a signed contract to reinitiate the project. I pressed him for a date of availability, which he confirmed and I sent him the signed contract. That was two weeks ago. I have sent him THREE emails since asking for confirmation of the date he provided - seeing as the project was supposed to be done this week - and he hasn't bothered to respond to any of them. Ghosted - for the second year in a row.
As others have noted, he's friendly and knowledgeable when he shows up, invests the time and energy in the visit, provides samples and a quote, secures the deal and then....vanishes. No communication. Be warned: you will waste a ton of time getting to the point where you think the project is happening, only to be ghosted, and then you'll be weeks/months behind securing someone who will actually reply to an email or do the work.

Unfortunately, I never heard back from them after they saw the project. It was supposed to be yard draining near the driveway and yard. The employee was polite and knowledgeable though.

Rick and his team did an amazing job on our front yard hardscape. I would recommend them to anyone!

Failed to show for scheduled leaf cleanup and unresponsive when tried to reschedule. A shame as the previous year they had done a great job.

Ricky and his crew did a great job on installing turf in my front yard and pavers in the back. Went above and beyond even pulling all the weeds in the process. Communicated very well and kept the timeline and budget that was quoted.

Our new home landscape was a mess before RLG came. The front lawn had lots of overgrown weeds- the "flower beds" was awkwardly tiered with different bricks thrown on top over the years. The backyard was a jungle of evasive plants and more bricks and tiers. Rick from RLG came and gave us an assessment and worked with us to provide a plan that came within our budget. His team came in and reconstructed the entire front and backyards. Removed all the unwanted bricks and tiers and even managed to salvage some plants that worked well with the new landscape design.
He gave us back our entire backyard and it looks spacious, aesthetically clean and looks amazing. He further provided instructions for care in the final walkthrough and suggestions for the next phase.
RLG provided a clear, concise plan that we discussed, budget that met our needs, delivery of our vision of the landscape and started and finished ahead of schedule.
I will use them again for certain as they even picked up and watered our lawns before leaving.

Was suppose to be crushed granite and be a harden to be a grill area and is a mess and just sand. He showed me pictures and looked nothing like this. I called sent messages and no response for months and then basically brushed me off saying he came out already to fix. Read reviews he was a nice guy but doesn’t stand behind work done and not responsive to concerns. Save your money and headaches
