We had our front and back yards re-sodded and could not be happier. The job was done quickly and looks great.

I had a small paver job which I listed on two neighborhood sites. The first company to respond came out and said I would have an estimate later that evening and they could begin work the following week several days passed, despite leaving several messages they never contacted me. I contacted RLG which gave me a quote through messenger. They came out at the time scheduled looked at the job and maintained the same quote. The work was done professionally and clean up was meticulous. The workers were courteous and very hard working.

RLG Landscaping is the best. I’ve had Rick and his team do work in my yard two summers in a row. They have done all my arborvitae trees (10 total) as well as my hostas. I also have them mulch around the house every year. Rick is super friendly, knowledgeable and affordable. Great quality work.

RLG Landscaping did an outstanding job on both our front landscaping and our backyard remodel! We had new sod, retaining wall, planting and mulch done in the front yard. In the backyard they installed pavers, turf river rock and retaining wall. It looks amazing!

RLG installed artificial turf in my backyard, they are very reliable, professional and affordable This guys are awesome. Left everything clean after the job was done.

I had a great experience having artificial turf installed by RLG Landscaping. Rick was straightforward, easy to communicate with, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire process. I especially appreciated his proactive updates about scheduling—something that’s often hard to come by. On top of the excellent service, the pricing was significantly more reasonable than other quotes I received from companies in the suburbs. Highly recommend these guys for anyone looking for quality work and a smooth, professional experience.

Strongly Do Not Recommend.

I reached out to RLG for a quote. Upon arriving at my home and seeing a large American flag displayed out front, he stated that he doesn’t support “people like me” and abruptly left. It was a disappointing and unprofessional encounter.

As he walked away, he muttered something under his breath about a “torta smashing her Tahoe into my house.” It was bizarre and completely uncalled

My family recently had a 12x12 paver patio installed in our backyard. Rick’s honesty and expertise helped us narrow down a patio design perfectly tailored for our yard size, budget, and design aesthetic. He even provided paver samples to help us visualize how the pavers would look in our yard.

On the day of installation a crew of 6-8 men showed up around 7am and got right to work. They were completely done and all cleared out by 4pm. This was a big deal because I’d mentioned to Rick that I was hoping to have the patio finished in time for a family celebration scheduled later in the week. Rick promised the patio would be finished and he and his crew delivered!

Since installation, I’ve received so many compliments on our new patio. I would definitely use RLG Landscaping again.

These guys did an incredible job on our Lincoln park back yard. I was worried that maybe the job would be too large, but RLG showed up with a large team and all the gear and equipment to do the job. Rick was super responsive and went above and beyond. Best money spent on our house in a long time. Can’t say enough! Call them!

RLG Landscaping saved the day! They did an amazing job building our garden bed and selecting and installing 3 large arborvitae shrubs for our new yard. When we first reached out for a quote, Rick was very responsive and stopped by the same day to see our yard, and was able to fit us into the schedule a few weeks later. The crew was polite, fast, and gave us a few really helpful recommendations on the spacing of the shrubs and the shape of the garden bed. Pricing was very reasonable too. Highly recommend!

RLG Landscaping converted our muddy and rutted backyard made unlivable by our spirited dog into a beautiful, tidy hideaway featuring artificial turf. The transformation was a total 180 degrees, and now Cooper can run freely without coming back wet & muddy into the house. RLG's attention to detail--cutting precisely to fit around uneven stones--was just one facet of a very professional installation that has improved the look and functionality of our property way beyond our expectations. They even rebuilt existing and uneven pavers to give a tired backyard a fresh look. Quick and clean, RLG is highly recommended!

Highly recommend RLG. They did great a great job on our landscaping. They installed turf, sod, bushes, rock and a paver walkway with a landing. Very professional work and very fair pricing. I already have recommended them to anyone I know interested in turf or landscaping.

I’m very happy that I went with Rick RLG Landscaping. He made the process very smooth. Rick came out to do several quotes since my budget had changed & I was able to expand on what I wanted. He was responsive & kept me updated from start to finish. He’s very knowledgeable & has a passion for his work. His pricing is competitive as well. RLG has a great team to get the job done. Great work done by Rick and his team right from the start. Very communicative throughout the excavation and demolition process. The guys cleaned up everything after they were done and disposed of all the broken concrete.
We’ve received nothing by positive comments about the look of our back yard. We are excited to see the newly laid grass fully grow over the next couple of weeks.

Rick and his team did an excellent job installing pet turf for our backyard. Quick, efficient, affordable, always on time and kept everything clean. We love the pet turf and our dogs REALLY love it! They have so much fun playing and lounging on the turf every day, and we no longer have to worry about muddy paws. We highly recommend RLG for artificial turf installation!
