Terrible service, just terrible. Completely trashed my yard and did not fix anything. They destroyed my brick firepit. They took apart a flowerbed on the side of the house to drag limbs down the driveway, but never put it back together (which they said directly to me that they would do), damaged all of the plants in the flowerbed, most of which then washed away because there was no frame and it rained for days. They knocked over my log pile and didn't put it back together, but then they also took half of my firewood with them when they removed the tree they took down. They also busted a portion of my neighbor's fence. It was like working with the Three Stooges.

J’s Tree Service is awesome!!! We hired them to cut down two big trees in our yard and they were the most reliable and professional tree service I have ever dealt with. I will give them my business again and you should too.

Great job. The team arrived on schedule to take down three 50 foot plus trees in backyard. Team was organized and professional. They were careful to minimize damage to house and landscaping from the trees they cut down and the equipment they used. Estimate was very reasonable especially considering it included removal of the stumps and the resulting chips from stump grinder. Holes were back filled with top soil, raked and prepared for grass seed.

Had dangerous tree damage from high winds with large limbs dangling. Jay's Tree Service promptly came out and took care of it. At the same time, they removed a nuisance tree that is damaged every time we have high winds. I have been a customer of Jay's Tree Service for many years and they never disappoint. Their goal is excellence and complete customer satisfaction.

My experience with J's tree service was excellent! From start to clean up was flawless. The crew was polite, professional and ensured the job was completed to my satisfaction. What a great experience. Thanks Josh!

Long review: I had one tree trimmed and a second tree and it’s stump removed. J’s did a poor job. They over sprayed wood chips from the stump material and over filled the crater. The roots they left were in plain view on top of the stump chips. I called them and informed them about the roots and they took care of MOST of them. But in the process of doing so they cut my cable and WIFI line and didn’t tell me. It’s hard to believe they didn’t know it; large pieces of orange and black cable was on top of the area they removed the roots from. I also told them my yard was really high where the tree was removed because there was too much root stump chips left as filler. They said the yard needed to settle and it would level off. I waited a few months and called again to ask them to please call me. I asked them to call me directly because my husband was not engaged with the project. They never did. After a few days of not hearing from them I called again and learned they came to my home, unscheduled, spoke to my husband. I called again after this, and asked if someone would please call me back; they never did. I called no less than 4 more times and finally I asked to have the owner to please call me. The secretary said, “Ma’am he said he’s not going to get you any dirt...you’ll have to do that.” Dirt? What? I called again and this time I was told, “Josh said he’s not going to call you; now I learn that Josh is the owner. I had no clue that too many wood chips prevents grass from growing. And while my yard is more settled, the extreme amount of wood in my yard will not allow my grass to grow. As customers we don’t always know what to ask and it was deceptive for him not to disclose how wood chips suppress grass growth. Also, it is not professional to not call your customer back. Cutting the tree is only a portion of the service. I paid more than $2,000. I would have paid for dirt and the cost to dump the stump chips elsewhere. The best compliment a customer can give is a referral. I can’t and do not recommend J’s without telling you to pay close attention, and know when you’ve paid him he’s done. I used a local business and got stumped!

It took a few weeks for the crew to get to my yard, but I am glad I waited. It is becoming rare when a service exceeds all expectations, but J's Tree Service did just that. The foreman was very professional, and made sure his crew left my property just like they found it. I highly recommend them for tree trimming and big bush/brush removal.

I contacted J’s a few years ago to cut down 2 trees in my yard. They were prompt with giving me an estimate but it took almost a year for them to get back to me with a date. The storms in other areas took precedence over them getting to my trees. That’s understandable. But I tried again last year and they couldn’t schedule a date so I gave up on J’s😞

Be careful if you decide to hire them. They operate their machinery recklessly. They hit my car, took off and Josh, the owner has been blowing me off for almost 2 months and even blocked my email. I was able to locate the workers here in Houston and when I approached them they were aggressive. The front office won’t answer any calls either. Just know if they damage something they won’t pay for it….sounds like a liability and not worth hiring them.

Excellent service! I had a great experience with J's Tree Service! They were very professional, and did an awesome job removing two trees in my back yard that were very close to my house. They also removed a stump. Their clean up process was top notch also! I recommend them to anyone to have trees, and stumps removed.

Despite a minor snafu with the scheduling/appointment date, my experience with J's tree service was awesome! The tree removal crew was very pleasant, professional, and efficient...they removed 3 trees (including a very large maple) and trimmed a 4th in about 2 hours! From start to clean up was good. The crew leader introduced himself and also had me check it out after they were done to ensure the job was completed to my satisfaction. The price was very reasonable and they offer a 10% military discount. Sam who came out to do the consultation/quote and Casey in the office provided great customer service as well...great job all around! I definitely recommend this company and I will use them again in the future if the need arises!

We had a big tree removed. It did take a few weeks for them to come out but I think that everyone is so busy. We didn’t mind. All the crews were extremely professional and job was done in a quick and timely matter. Stump removal turned out great! All the guys on these jobs was so customer friendly and hard working. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a tree cut down.

Our tree has been a troublemaker for years, and sadly it didn't disappoint for these guys either... the location of my house and tree is crazy tricky, and Js guys, and J himself did a masterful job of ridding us of this troublemaker. We couldn't be happier with the overall experience! Will definitely be using them again in the future.... Attention to detail, safety and your property was very high on their concern list!! We highly recommend them!!

J's is the ONLY tree company you'll need to call. Today we had our 50+ year dying/very hazardous old oak tree cut down by J's. I cannot believe how fast & precise they cut it down! They were here at 8am & done by noon. This tree essentially covered our entire front yard, shaded our 2 story house & filled their whole truck! For reference, they had about a 20x60' area to work in with our power & internet running under the canopy. These pictures don't do the job justice. This was a job that another long standing local hazardous tree removal company wouldn't even quote a year ago! And the price to remove & grind it was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the competition. Trust me when I say J' Tree Service is the only company I'll ever work with. I highly recommend J's, these guys are absolute pro's!

Kevin Strange was exactly who we needed. Assessed the crack in our foundation, got us a quote on a repair same session, and made recommendations on other areas that may need attention. He got our repair scheduled same day, and only a 2-3 week wait. Kevin was very approachable and pleasant. 10/10 recommend

I can’t say enough good things about Joe Eberle and Brett Lenhardt. Joe was my main contact for a basement waterproofing project, and even after I initially chose another company that did a poor job, he graciously came back to help. He was always responsive, respectful, professional, and truly treated me like family.
Brett, the foreman, kept me updated with calls, had a kind and positive demeanor, and went out of his way to adjust his schedule so the job was finished quickly and done right.
Both Joe and Brett deserve to be recognized for their exceptional customer service — honestly, they both deserve a raise. I wouldn’t trust anyone else and highly recommend them. -
Austin and Angel installed new gutters on our house today. They were prompt, professional and polite. They did a fantastic job installing the gutters and left no trace they had even been there (other than my new pretty white gutters!). They took the time to listen to my concerns and did exactly what they said they would. I would highly recommend Helitech for gutters. btw, Helitech also fixed cracks in my basement and filled voids under my front porch, all this year! Each team was quick, but thorough and cleaned up afterwards. I have been impressed with this company from start to finish. Cameron is the best rep to work with too! Thanks for everything! I hope I don't need you all again, but if I do, Helitech will be my first call.

Helitech was our go-to for a minor issue concerning our basement wall. Prompt response after reaching out. Quick and reasonable estimate. And a well done finished product that will last a lifetime. Our technician Kevin Williams was polite, attentive to detail, respectful to our home, knowledgeable of our situation and how to remedy it, and was thorough with all information and tidying up before departure. If you have any issues concerning your foundation, basement, and/or concrete (driveway, sidewalk, patio), do not hesitate to reach out to Helitech with your concerns. Helitech will take care of the issue as if it were their own.

Contracted Helitech for a sump pump discharge reroute to drainage ditch behind the houses in our neighborhood.
Initial Consultation: Listened to concerns about current drainage which was causing a swamp in the side yard. Looked at multiple options to reduce cost. Eventually was able to quote us a solution that tied all our downspouts on 2 sides of the house together for cheaper than the limited scope I originally wanted (bulk price).
Installation Team: (Shawn, Bryce, Ahmi, Juan) Came out on a Saturday to get the job done after having to delay earlier that week for rain. The team had no issues with my little one's running around and asking questions. Explained what they were doing very thoroughly.
Original Pipe laying was causing some water to pool under my neighbors fenced so I called back and Hellitech was prompt in response and added line to get to the drainage ditch (S/O to Cody Reynolds and Tyler Cox for coming out quickly to help out). Unfortunately, while rerouting the pipe a mistake was made and the pop-up ended up on my neighbor's property. (Turns out my property did not touch the common drainage ditch even though when the house was built 20 years ago the existing drainage line referenced above was run through this same easement that the pipe was placed in.) Helitech communicated very well with me about the situation on their end and even helped point me to resources to help me understand local drainage ordinances so that I could find a way to find a solution other than reversing the addition and having water end up below my neighbor's fence again. Ultimately, the supervisors (S/O Dave and Scott) came out to ensure that the fix was made correctly, and a team was out the next day to make sure the line was on my property and the discharge was in a place that was okay per guidance from the city. (S/O Jose and Jaime Campos).
It was quite an adventure, but Helitech was with me all the way with excellent customer service to help resolve all my concerns and those of my neighbor. -
I had a great experience with Austin from Helitech who came out to my house to evaluate some work that needs to be done. He was punctual, professional, and very knowledgeable about what the project would involve. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answer my questions, and offer helpful suggestions without any pressure.
Customer service tends to be lacking these days with most companies and businesses. It’s refreshing to work with someone who truly cares about quality and customer satisfaction. The visit left me confident that Helitech is a company that values honesty and professionalism. I’m looking forward to moving forward with them on the project! -
Update: the actual work was fabulous! Jose Campos and his crew did an amazing job. Our extension now has a solid, waterproof foundation, and the space looks immaculate. They left the work area cleaner than how they found it! I would highly recommend Helitech, Jose, and Jordan.
Our inspection/appraisal process with Jordan Peetz was fantastic. He was on time, very professional, great with our pets and baby, and didn't try to sell us on things we don't need. I will leave a further review once the work is done!
