Constraction reviews in Chicago, Illinois

Al and his team were able to quickly help when my rental unit in Pilsen had the heat go out in November. They got it working that same day so our tenants had heat and then gave a great quote (including parts and labor warranties) to replace the furnace, water heater, and air conditioner- which were all over 20 years old. Al talked through the options and my building needs to determine the best matches for my space, instead of just recommending replacement units based on my square footage. His team was very polite, kept to their quoted schedule and left everything super clean. While doing part of the instillation on the exterior, they noticed a small, unrelated issue and called my attention to it since it was in an obscured part of the building. They repaired that too while they were there and at no extra cost!! A few months later, I was able to quickly schedule Al and Mr. Olive to return when the weather suddenly turned warm in early spring to get the A/C calibrated and all continues to be working great. Highly recommend!

We trusted Al to remodel our kitchen while we were out of town, and he absolutely exceeded our expectations! From start to finish, his knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail made the entire process smooth and stress-free. We came home to a beautifully transformed kitchen that was even better than we had envisioned. The quality of his workmanship truly speaks for itself. We couldn’t be happier with the results and will absolutely be using Al for all of our future projects. If you're looking for someone reliable and skilled, we highly recommend!

Al is the rare contractor that can take completely unspoken, unexpressed ideas that are in your mind and bring them to reality on a project. He was very patient with my need to double and triple-check leveling, and overall was a joy to work with.

Al did a full kitchen gut, 10x10’ space that has transformed the space into my wife & I’s ideal. Negative reviews should be taken with a grain of salt, especially if no work was done.

This is a company that prides itself on outstanding work, thanks Chicago Custom Remodeling!

Highly recommend Chicago Custom Remodeling. We experienced water damage in 2020 and were lucky to find Al to help. What we appreciated the most was his ability to understand and work with our insurance company through the claims process. We ended up needing all new flooring, drywall and a bathroom gut. All work was top quality along with bringing a few items up to code. We could not be happier with the results and experience.

Upgraded electrical service to 400Amp from 100Amp, replaced mismatched panels and breakers from old contractor and corrected several other issues caused by choices made by my previous partner. Work was priced fairly and performed excellently and on a time by licensed professionals. Long story short, you get what you pay for and MVM delivered.

Prompt, professional and high quality service. Would recommend!

Highly recommend!! Came on time as requested, super professional and very detailed work . Good to have people like this when I need them ! Thanks again!!

Mbm recently did roof repairs to my home. I must say, I was extremely pleased with the quality and efficiency of their work. Repairs were completed in 1 day and their prices are fair. I'll definitely be using them for future repairs.

I reached out to A&K as a shot in the dark after getting outrageous estimates for water damage involving my and my neighbor's bathrooms. Alex gave me 'fix it for cheap' and 'fix it forever ' options. I chose the latter. He did great work at a fair price and worked quickly. He was also transparent about labor and supply costs. I was so happy with the job A&K did that I had them make an unnecessary but fun passthrough window between my living room and dining room, and repaint my bathroom. I don't often write reviews, but it's hard to find someone who does good work, is reliable and responsive, fairly priced, works fast, and, most of all, who takes enough pride in his work to come back and do the little touch ups and small repairs that sometimes are only obvious when work seems to be done.

Sloppy work

Great company to work with. Always professional, always responsive. They handle all work in a timely fashion. Great resource.

I’m an investor and has worked with GBP on a few projects. Good work and on schedule. I would use them again without hesitation.

Martin and his team are true professionals and do quality work.

Been using GBP for full gut rehabs and have seen nothing but great work. It's so much better when you can trust your contractor.

Came and remodeled my washroom. Did a great job and in a great fashionable time span. Was very happy with the outcome. Would recommend him to anyone I know that needs work done.

After we purchased our house in June, Martin and crew finished our basement quick with drywall, paint, and lighting. Our kids love their game room.

We chose Martín and his team because we liked the quality of their work and it was clear he had a strong background in remodeling multi-unit properties. We selected Green Building Partners to completely remodel a 3 unit building and we are happy to share they are true professionals.
