My 75 year old home needed a new electrical panel and Paul’s Electric took care of that quickly. They explained why and the risks in not doing so. I am confident that their work is high quality and I surely call again if needed.

I dealt with Peter over the phone. He was able to schedule an appointment with my tenants and address the issues that were onsite. He seemed to very quickly assess the situation and asked if he can proceed after he quoted me the price. He was able to fix issues and replaced some outlets that were not up to code. I have to say it was easy working with Paul’s Electric.

I recently had the pleasure of hiring Paul's Electric Inc. to replace six light fixtures in my condo, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Their response time was impressive! They quickly scheduled a consultation and arrived right on time and wasted no time in getting down to business. What truly stood out to me was their willingness to engage and educate. They patiently answered all of my questions. It's clear that they take pride in their work and genuinely care about their customers' satisfaction. Cannot rate them highly enough!

Paul and Peter came out the same day we called to help fix some wiring in our kitchen. They were punctual and polite but most importantly, they fixed our issue. We'd gladly hire them again in the future as we continue to update our very old home!

Had some issues with our power, and was dreading how much repairing it was going to cost. Peter came out the same day I called (within 30 minutes) and had the problem fixed super quick. The best part was that it didn't cost an arm and a leg. Hopefully I won't need to call an electrician again anytime soon, but if I do, I'll absolutely be calling Paul's.

Incredible service at a competitive price. I called late in the day around 7:00pm and Peter was able to come by my house within the hour. I didn't expect to have someone that soon but was pleasantly surprised.

The work was done very quickly and Peter addressed other issues as well. I received a lot of information regarding the power within my house and all of my questions and concerns were answered.

Another great experience with Paul’s Electric! Needed a new light fixture installed in my kitchen. Called, secured an appointment for the following morning, Peter arrived on time as per the 1-hour window he gave me for my appointment. Installed the light fixture, answered my question about another light fixture that he had installed in the past. As always, Peter was courteous, helpful to answer my questions, and ensure that my new fixture was working as expected before departing. He cleaned p after mid work in my kitchen, ensured all items that were dropped on the floor during installation were picked up. I recommend Paul’s Electric to anyone who needs an electrician. This review is long overdue. Paul and Peter changed out my electrical panel/circuitbreakers in October 2021. Since then, I have called them additionally for 2 outages and they came almost immediately both times. Peter referred me to Comed to see if it was an issue with the lines in the alley and it was. They are very responsive and do great work. I'm planning to switch out some ceiling fans for light fixtures and will call them. I will not call anyone else for my electrical needs.

Kind, competent, and knowledgeable. They worked quickly and did a great job. They installed three new fans, a fuse breaker, and fixed a cracked outlet. Scheduling was super easy as they were very responsive. Will definitely be using them in the future!

Great, fast service on short notice with reasonable prices. Called in the late afternoon and Peter was able to come out same day. The scope of our repair was bigger than we had expected but Peter explained very clearly what needed to happen.

Peter recently installed a new outlet in my laundry room, replaced several light switches, and diagnosed an arcing issue with one of my breakers. I'm very glad I found Peter—his attention to detail is truly unmatched. As someone who’s very Type A and expects everything to be done perfectly, I can confidently say Peter exceeds even the highest standards. He’s punctual, charges fair prices, and stands by his work. Paul and his son Peter are exceptional! I called them due to some fuse issues, and they were there same day to fix the issues. Each time we worked with them they were very quick to communicate, liaised directly with our tenants when needed, and gave us competitive pricing. They also took the time to walk us through each issue so I was educated about what was happening. Will always work with them!

We hired Paul and Peter to upgrade the lighting system in my office, replacing the old traditional bulbs and ballasts that frequently required maintenance. I was constantly dealing with burnt-out bulbs and faulty ballasts. They recommended switching to new LED panels, which are not only much brighter but also give the office a sleek, professional look. The job was completed in about 2 hours, and they did the work very efficiently and with great attention to cleanliness. I'm really pleased with the results. Thank you, guys!

Showed up timely. Was responsive to calls/texts for questions. Did a great job and was quick. I was able to pay electronically which made it convenient. They also gave me tips on other things I can do to save on my electricity bill. Very nice guys and I will be using them again!!

I managed to blow my entire circuit breaker from within a midrise apartment building in Lincoln Park- no small feat. Paul answered the phone immediately, and with very little information had me give him my address and got right in the car to drive an hour to fix my botched attempt at DIY electrical work. He and Peter are longtime professionals who had random parts on hand the average “task rabbit electrician” almost certainly would not have, and they fixed everything within an hour. They explained the issue, sent the receipt immediately after I paid, and were all the while very warm and funny despite the hour long drive (with no other appointments in the city) and it being 7 pm. I know from experience that bad electricians cost a lot more in the long run once their faulty work has to be corrected, but Paul and Peter will most definitely get done right and properly the first time around- highly recommend!
