Helped a desperate group of people trying to save a cat stuck in a tree for several days, while others including CFD, CPD, and CACC showed no empathy. Happy there are private companies like this willing to lead while our taxpayer funded services fail at every turn.

Very professional and knowledgeable of his trade. Came out and took care of tree, cleaned up and if is like they were not there. Extremely satisfied highly recommended.

Professional. Affordable. Fast. Honest. Answered every question I had and put me at ease. Removed a large old maple from my front yard and several trees from an unruly, overgrown, and difficult to get to grove in my backyard without incident in less than 6 hours. Went above and beyond as far as removing some other unsightly bushes and such. I highly recommend this team!

Sat on pins and needles while a neighbor's 1.5 year old, indoor cat was stuck up in a tree starting at noon on Christmas Eve in 9 degree temps. No help from Animal Control or the FD. At four stories, up, it didn't look like the kitty would make it down by himself, and no telling how long he could survive out there in the cold. Humberto came out and got him down on Christmas Day. Aside from some minor cuts on his feet, all is well. Dozens of neighbors following the story breathed a sigh of relief. Thank you Humberto and Fernandez Tree Service! That's the kind of good deed that gets you loyal customers.

Fernandez tree service removed a 5 story elm from my back yard in Hyde Park. The tree was surrounded by power lines. It was a complicated job and they pulled it off amazingly. They even interfaced with ComEd. I definitely recommend this business!

A year ago today, this company rescued a kitten from a very very tall tree with absolutely no compensation. They did it because they are good people. Thank you for saving this kitten! You guys are amazing. When I move out of my sky rise apartment into a house, I know who I’m calling.

Should have seen the red flags when most of their reviews were about rescuing a cat(which is awesome), but no reviews about them actually doing any work on tree removal. Humberto came out for an estimate on the tree I wanted to remove in my yard. That was the last that I heard from him. So I called him to see when he can fit us in since the cost was fair and affordable. He said he would call me back the following day and it has been about 4-5 days now with still no call from him. 2 stars because he does seem like a friendly guy but as far as service, I will be looking for someone else who can respond with more urgency and is considerate of my time. Ugly dead tree still standing in our yard.

I had a tree brushing up against power lines during a storm, causing dangerous arcing and sparks. Humberto returned my call the same day & checked it out; they arrived first thing the following morning to remove the offending tree & two others, plus three ugly shrubs. All in a day! Many thanks to Humberto & Crew for the fast service and great quote!

Humberto and his team were very flexible and worked with us to remove a tree and some bushes before another project started. They were on time, fast, careful and left the area cleaner than when they started. They were great to work with. Highly recommended!

Horrible experience and extremely rude, especially the obnoxious lady who answers the phone when I called about issues and then proceeded to laugh and hang up on me.

I called them to ask if they would be able to help with a little black cat stuck in a neighbors tree, and Humberto was so kind. I immediately felt better after speaking with him. The next day he came out even after his grandmothers funeral and rescued the cat. We found the owner the next morning. Humberto is such a kind, thoughtful guy and I can’t recommend Fernandez Tree service enough!

Absolutely excellent service! They even came out on a Sunday to do the work because the size of our trees would require blocking the street and they wanted to be considerate to the flow of traffic. Humberto was friendly, the entire team worked incredibly quickly, and the quote was reasonable.

I give 5 STAR to Fernandez tree service. They’re are best in town, hard working, and attention to detail. They’re extremely fair! They did an amazing job removing my 100 year old American Elm tree. I would recommend Fernandez Tree Service 100%.

I highly recommend Umberto and his crew.Came by and gave me an estimate the same day I called and his price was in the ballpark of the others I recieved. Fully licensed and bonded with top tier equipment.As the two trees I wanted removed were in the back by electric lines that was important to me.He came on a Sunday and he and his crew had both down and cleaned up in 3 hours.As a bonus he was able to stump out one that others said they couldn’t do. Would recommend him to everyone.
