Adding more to my review from a few years ago. Hired Humberto and his team again to remove a dead tree. Once again, a great experience! Team was fast and efficient, navigated several obstacles in our yard, and had the tree out in no time. Highly recommend!

Couldn't be happier with Fernandez Tree Service. Contacted Humberto for a quote to remove a ton of shrubs from our yard. He was friendly, professional, prompt, and gave us a great price. On the day of the job, the whole team was great. They worked quickly and efficiently, removing all the unwanted bushes in a couple of hours. They even swept the dirt back into the planting beds and raked the yard when they were done. Very glad we didn't try to do the work ourselves (would have taken all summer), and super pleased with Humberto and his team! Highly recommend!

This is the second time we have used Fernandez Tree service. The first time was to take down a struggling maple tree. Humberto and his talented crew showed up on time and did such a fantastic job! We knew who we had to call when we needed a large Oak tree branch removed. It was growing against a very tight part of our house. Very tricky to get to. Again, he was here on-time with his crew. They were able to remove the branch with zero damage to the house, the garage or the multiple wires going right next to the tree. They treated the “sore” of where the branch was removed and cleaned my yard up so nice it looked better than how they found it. This crew was amazing how they all communicated with each other to keep safety first! And since he was here doing such great work, a couple of my neighbors asked him to do some trimming of their trees, which he was kind enough to do. If you ever need anything done to your trees, Humberto is the one to call. He is an actual Arborist as well and he always has tips or recommendations for your other trees. He's so nice that you feel like you should invite him to Thanksgiving dinner! Thanks again, Humberto!!

Had an old tree leaning too close to my house and finally decided to take it down. Found a company with good reviews and they came out for a free quote. The crew showed up with all the gear and did a safe clean removal. They lowered branches slowly and nothing hit the fence or roof. Took a couple hours and they even ground the stump without charging extra. Only issue was the truck blocked part of my driveway but they moved it when I asked. The yard was spotless after and you’d barely know a tree was there. I feel so much better knowing it won’t crash in a storm. These guys were professional and fast. If you’ve got a tree that makes you nervous call someone before it’s too late. I waited too long and got lucky. Glad I called when I did.

STELLAR JOB!!!! Just FANTASTIC!!!! We hired Fernandez Tree Service to remove 3 massively overgrown Spruce/Pine Trees originally planted WAY TOO CLOSE to our building to prevent further damage to our masonry wall, foundation, & roof. Humberto & his crew did an absolutely wonderful job! Full crew & equipment arrived on time & full job (including SUPERB cleanup) was efficiently completely in around 2 hours - Hire Humberto for any/all tree care needs!!!

Humberto was great to work with. His team did an incredible job. They brought a bunch of trucks and a large crew so they were done very quickly. I was kind of shocked at all the equipment, chippers, large trucks to catch the debris, one with a giant man-lift. They are not messing around. It was an extremely professional experience. They trimmed 5 trees in a couple hours. They are also licensed to do work on the parkway in front of my house. I needed a couple trees cleaned up that the city has not been able to get to and Humberto handled the permit and did a great job. They really know what they were doing and were very careful with the trees and the property, both mine and my neighbours. I was referred to them and was not disappointed.

Excellent work in removing a large maple tree from the backyard. They were very careful not to damage my property or neighbors. Highly recommend them!

Wonderful service! We had a minor emergency situation with a large limb that had fallen on our neighbor’s fence, and our previous provider was not returning phone calls. We called Fernandez next- Humberto answered right away and came out to assess same day. He rearranged his schedule and got us in the next day, which was a huge relief. The crew was fabulous and worked hard not to disturb any landscaping around the tree. A job very well done!

Super happy with these guys and the high quality service they provided. They showed up on time on the day they promised and started promptly. They have top quality equipment and everyone was very professional and friendly. I asked for a 2” section of the tree to be cut for me so I could make a side table with the slab. A few minutes later one of the guys was at the door with a nice cut from the tree to see if it was what I wanted.

100% will use again for tree service.

I would have Never Been Able to Do this without Humberto!! Excellent service! Out of 5 bids….he got it! Save yourself the research! I’ve done it!! Humberto is a Botanist and knows exactly what he’s doing! He would not allow me to give him any money til the job was over and I was satisfied! Well I AM MORE THAN SATISFIED! His crew is amazing….Start with Spider-Man climbing and cutting and the spotters eyes never left him!! I would Reccomend Fernandez Tree Service to anyone!! A++++++++++++++

I couldn’t recommend Humberto and his amazing crew more! They managed our tricky tree removal with professionalism, speed and care for property. In spite of the challenges of an extremely large tree removal in a very small space (City of Chicago yard with close neighbors, power lines, etc.), they made it work and charged a reasonable price. A+++

Extremely professional!! Great job pruning 3 large trees and cleaned everything up so nice you could hardly tell they were here. It’s obvious that Umberto is passionate and loves what he does. I would recommend them to anyone.

These folks are amazing at what they do. They secured everything and were able to cut, lift off, turn and take huge pieces carefully to the street to deal with.

I had several quotes leading up to the day I contacted this company. On the day requested the quote, the owner called me within a minute. They were working in the area. Not only did the quote by far beat the other ones, they showed up 20 minutes after acceptance to remove the tree. The crew was professional and took many precautions to do any damage to mine or my neighbors property. The spruce tree was removed trunk and all in just over an hour. They did an amazing job cleaning up as well. I highly recommend this company!

We needed 3 smaller trees, 3 bushes removed with stump grinding, as well as tree trimming & pruning. Contacted company, Humberto came out that same day. He was punctual, friendly, & gave pricing quote at this first visit. Set date during assessment that day for the next weekend. Team arrived on time, did excellent work and did a great job with clean up. Crew was knowledgeable, friendly, and careful of property with their large equipment.
