The work that Zenon’s Landscaping has done for me has been excellent. They are efficient, timely and neat. They do what I have asked and when they are done everything looks great!

Neighbors tree root cracked my walkway. Started off as a small crack and ended up a mountain. Juan removed the tree root, cut it back ( it won't grow back) ,and replaced the walkway. It's seamless and looks great.

My bushes were overgrown and quite a mess. I called Juan and he came by on Tuesday, quoted me a reasonable price, and said he could come back the next day on Wednesday to trim my 20 bushes. As promised, Juan showed up bright and early on Wednesday and did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend Zenon Landscaping Services!!

I’m not really sure where to begin besides beginning in April of 2024 when I first Juan for an estimate. His personality, courtesy and attentiveness was outstanding and he is ambitious. I had a vision of how I wanted my retainer wall and its landscaping to be. I was so enthused that I design it on a a piece of paper, took a snapshot, sent it to him and texted do you think you can do this. And instantly he said yes I can see your vision and worked with me from the selected the bricks, rocks and shrubbery. The quality of material he uses is excellent, the nursery he got the bushes were of quality! It’s a family business and when I say they work diligently hard they do! The finished look was more than I could ask for and my neighbors have not stopped complimenting my fresh look. Recently I called Juan and requested service because my grass got damaged from grubs so I had to sod my front lawn in its entirety. Again, I was not disappointed and as a matter of fact Juan laid it in a way I wasn’t familiar with but he took to explained what he was doing and when he finished my lawn it was beautiful. My neighbors were texting me with compliments and my mail person said your house really stands out. And with the work on the retainer wall and new lawn, I told Juan you got me looking good out here! Thanks Juan may you keep up the GREAT work and I wish you much success. Thanks for handling my friend with great services as well.

Fantastic Local Compost Resource – Highly Recommended!

If you’re in the South Side of Chicago and looking for affordable, high-quality compost, this place is a hidden gem. The location is super accessible, and the customer service—both on the phone and in person—is incredibly helpful and friendly.

Residents can simply drive up with a pickup truck and get a full truck bed (about a cubic yard) of compost for just $25. The staff will load it directly into your truck, and you pay at the weigh-in station—quick and easy.

I’ve saved hundreds of dollars by coming here instead of buying bagged compost elsewhere. Whether you’re a home gardener or working on a larger landscaping project, this is hands down the best value in the city.
