This is the first time I’ve ever used a landscaping service, due to mobility issues this year. I couldn’t bring myself to go with the usual ear-splitting, gas-guzzling equipment and was lucky enough to catch sight of a Greenwise truck by chance in the street. Not the cheapest service, and slower perhaps, but quiet, efficient and much gentler on the environment (all products are organic) and the eardrums. Even the leafblowers are barely audible. Marcos knows his plants and is obviously training his men well. So far I’m very pleased with Greenwise’s work.

We learned of Chris Odenthal and Greenwise through a neighbor who was pleased with the work they did in his backyard. We needed a bluestone patio created to integrate with a previously installed patio in our back and side yard. From the start, Chris impressed us with his responsiveness, creativity, and talent. His solution to our design brief was elegant and natural. We couldn’t be happier with the result. Based on our experience, we’ve decided to undertake the Greenwise organic lawn care plan to get the rest of our yard looking as good as our new patio!

Greenwise Organic Lawn Care and Landscaping design installed a beautiful Bluestone patio and landscaping for the side yard of our Logan Square home. We were referred originally to Marc, who did such a wonderful creative design to begin the project. Chris integrated into the project midstream, as well, and the project was successful completed on time and with great care. Chris' attention to detail was excellent. The installation went well, any concerns or questions were addressed, and we were very happy with their work. I can't wait to see it flourish over then next several years as it matures in the cozy space. The Bluestone is gorgeous! Thank you, Greenwise, especially Marc and Chris for your excellent service.

Greenwise took an okay-looking yard and made it a great-looking yard. The crew worked on all of our flower beds and installed decorative pebbles in our patio area - our yards look detailed and snazzy. When the crew accidentally cut our invisible dog fence wire, the supervisor came back the next day and worked in the pouring rain until he found the cut spot to repair...such great service. My neighbor had shared her experience with Greenwise and I thought to give them a try. We had blue stones that were used on a previous property and given to us. I worked closely with Chris Odenthal on the install and design. I also ordered new sod which I was very pleased with as well. We've used Greenwise Organic Lawn Care for two years and everything is greener. Creeping Charlies is completely gone! It was very important for our yard to be pesticide free to support our organic garden. Great customer service communication and easy billing.

We have been using Greenwise going on 4 years and they never disappoint. They really listened to what we wanted, have been excellent at our landscape upkeep and their creative choices for our planters have been delightful. The fact that they are doing this amazing work in an organic fashion makes me wonder why other landscaping companies are slow to adopt less harmful ways to beautify landscapes.

Greenwise was communicative and informative in the process leading up to our hardscape and landscape work. They were on time, courteous, and provided quality in terms of the work and the materials/plants. As someone who is a lawncare novice, Greenwise made me feel comfortable and confident that the selections we made would not only look great but also survive our environments with as low maintenance as possible. They specifically exceeded our expectations on our hardscape. Our back patio got a tremendous facelift in a matter of hours. Would certainly recommend!

The greatest gift of this past winter season was Greenwise Organic Lawn Care and Landscaping. We hired them to do snow removal as we were not sure we would be able to manage it ourselves. Greenwise services were worth every penny. They consistently kept in touch about pending weather, plans for clearing snow and ice and timelines that were on point. It wasn't inexpensive, but the value for the cost was excellent. We will be hiring Greenwise again next year!

I’ve had lawn services for about 12+ years. Their “expertise” was mowing. Poor communications. Never could rely on them coming at a regular time. Knew very little beyond how to start a lawnmower and push it around the lawn. Greenwise is the ultimate. They not only take care of regular maintenance, but all horticultural needs organically. And they know what they’re doing. They might more expensive, but worth it to get the lawn I’ve always wanted. Totally!

I cannot recommend Greenwise highly enough. They have done wonderful work, from the massive cleanup of a seriously overgrown yard to excellent lawn and yard maintenance. They also take care of snow and ice in winter. I particularly appreciate their conscientious environmental approach and their option to use environmentally friendly tools. They also communicate frequently so that I know what they are doing and when. Greenwise has made a world of difference on my property, and comes with my most enthusiastic recommendation.

Big thanks to Greenwise for the transformation of our front lawn! They completed a full re-design of the garden including all new plantings, hardscaping, and a fully automated sprinkler system. Christoph was great to work with -- very thoughtful, creative and detail-oriented in the design. Excellent workmanship and highly responsive team throughout the project. We have since worked with Greenwise again for seasonal planter boxes and plan to do more in the future. Highly recommend.

As first time home owners we had a hard time finding the right fit for a company to bring our patio dreams to life. We had company's flake on us, delay meetings last minute and everything else until Greenwise came along. From the very beginning we were treated as of our specific needs were their only project. We submitted our inquiry, heard back within 24 hours and had a schedule for someone to come give us a proper quote and talk about our vision to revamp our entire backyard. As soon as we met Christoph, we knew we were in good hands! He walked us through the entire process, helped us pick materials that were best for our needs and even suggested plants that would thrive in other areas of the yard. They worked on our front landscaping, our backyard patio, lawn irrigation, yard leveling and new sod. We were always aware of everything going on in the project each step of the way, they even came EARLIER than expected--- such a pleasant surprise! Easy payments, clear contracts amd professionalism the entire time for every single employee. I would recommend them to EVERYONE! We get compliments on our patio all the time now! We had a fantastic experience with Greenwise and highly recommend their service! Great customer service and the landscaping work was top notch. Celestino and Tito had a great crew. They stayed late to ensure they did a thorough job and to make sure everything was cleaned up. Our property looked immaculate when they were done. At one point during the power washing process some debris landed on our neighbor’s property and they immediately walked over to clean it up. We will definitely use them again!

We wanted to convert the yard space on the side of our house to a dedicated raised bed veggie garden. We were in a bit of a rush to get it done so we could maximize as much of the growing season as possible. While we built our own beds, we did not have the time or energy to cut up all the sod, put down weed block fabric, and fully cover the space with mulch. We were worried it could take a month + to get this project done since we were last minute getting going on it, but Marcos was able to come out within a week of making the appointment and our job was completed within a week or so of us signing the contract. Marcos explained some different options and advised us what would be best for the purpose of the space. On project day, Manuel and his crew showed up bright and early and completed the project in two hours (maybe less). I can't imagine how long it would have taken us to complete this ourselves, not to mention we wouldn't have been able to move for days after probably! So thrilled with how this turned out...they even managed to even out the grade which was a huge bonus. Thanks guys!
