Had them do a deep clean of my apartment and thought I was walking into a different place after they were done! Wonderful work ladies; I highly recommend!

We have absolutely loved using Hags with Rags! Their pricing is unbeatable for the consistently high quality service and care that we receive.

Had them come a do a deep clean of our new house prior to moving in. Mind you there was no furniture so we were just focusing on cleaning appliances, wiping down walls and floors. The baseboards are still dusty and there are spiderwebs everywhere so I'm unsure as to what was even "cleaned." Also the microwave above the stove wasn't cleaned either and there is visible grease. Very disappointed and will not be using again.

Based on Yelp reviews my wife and I decided to try Hags with Rags to deep clean our newly bought condo. The previous owners had lived there for 14 years with two cats (which I am allergic). So a professional cleaning was in order before we started moving our belongings in. I was contacted by one of the owners within hours of my request for services. Our job got scheduled and executed within a couple days of request.
Originally the job was estimated to have taken less than 4hrs, but due to the level of dust, hair, dirtiness of the condo the full job took almost 8hrs.
The attention to detail is the highlight of the whole experience, they dusted and cleaned EVERYWHERE, in every closet, drawer, shelf, even in between the radiators. They washed the floor 4+ times, polished all of the bathroom fixtures, and even cleaned inside and out of each window.
The customer service is excellent, the two owners even postponed their dinner plans to come help and oversee the job until finished. Even though the job took almost twice as long as estimated the estimated price quote didn't change. My only regret is that i didn't tip them more.

The cleaning project was a mayor endeavor. The previous owner were smokers and had two hairy dogs. The house look terrible, but thanks to Hags with Rags, looks like a new place. Some of things that we thought that we may have to replace, there was no need after a deep cleaning. It took longer than expected, but the price didn't change. The bathtub looks like new! And the owners are super fun and sweet. They took the time to talk to me about every part and what was savable and what was not. They clean every fixture, corner, cabinet. They service is awesome. And they were a pleasure to deal with. Nicer and the price totally worth it. I would give them more starts if possible.

Maria and her team of cleaners do an excellent job. I've used them for several years and they're easy to communicate with and work to accommodate your schedule. Everyone is very friendly and professional and they leave my home sparkling clean.

Hired Hags for deep cleaning, three women came and spent 3.5 hours doing everything, windows, blinds, base boards, floors, appliances, even inside my fridge!!!! My bathroom and kitchen are sparkling and we couldn’t be more satisfied!!! Have used them a couple times prior and will definitely be using them again!!

I've tried out a few cleaning services but once I found Hags With Rags, my search was over. I have used them for deep cleaning and scheduled cleaning. They are reliable, responsive and so friendly. Scheduling and payment is super easy. I always love coming home on one of my cleaning days because they do such great, reasonably priced work.

I've had a great experience with Hags with Rags. I've used them both for deep cleans after major construction on my basement and regular cleaning when I just can't find the time to clean before relatives arrive. They're communicative, do a great job, and always leave the house cleaner than I've ever been able to. I also was able to pay for and gift a cleaning to a friend who just had their second child - she loved it!

Adrian's crew always comes through. I lost her contact, but was lucky to find her social media to get back in contact. She and her crew are very professional, prompt, and trustworthy.

I had a horrible experience and will never return to or recommend Mother B. I am not sure if it is the team I had that was the issue (quite a few things not cleaned/tidied) but Adrian, the owner, is an issue. When she called me to discuss the things not cleaned/tidied, she was aggressive and defensive; she did not concede on a single thing I was able to tell her about and then didn’t want to hear the rest. When I questioned the cost and wanted to pay the rate offered to me via email (minus a discount offered via text and reimbursement for an item damaged by the cleaning team), she told me we would go to small claims court - no discussion. I know that she is going to respond to this review in an aggressive and defensive way just like she spoke to me and the way she has handled every other negative review. This appears to be the way she handles her business. There was no professionalism or customer service from Adrian. Details provided below.

The Cleaning: The team of two was friendly but from what I saw, worked slowly - no sense of urgency. They spent 2 hours cleaning my ~2,000 sq ft apartment (not including “retouch” time). (We have had other cleaners, and they did a better job in 1-1.5 hours.) After the team was done, they asked me to inspect and tell them if anything needed to be “retouched.” They did a good job on what it looked like they cleaned - showers, toilets looked great; bed linens were made up well. There was quite a bit to “retouch” though and all are supposed to have been included as basic cleaning, e.g., changed the sheets but left the pillows on the floor and the blanket thrown on the side chair, did not straighten up the other bed (linens or pillows), did not wipe small appliances, did not clean the sink (still splotches and marks), did not wipe chairs. There were also many things that still had visible dust. They spent 20 minutes “retouching,” and then shouted to me that they were done as they were walking out the door, so I was not able to inspect their work again until after they left. I found that about half of the “retouch” items did not get addressed. I later discovered that they didn’t empty out the recycling bin and had used my vegetable brush to wash a “retouch” item, likely the kitchen sink. I am not bothered that “retouches” had to be made - it was the first visit and there was no discussion regarding expectations so it was to be expected, but I am bothered that the “retouches” were not done after I had asked.

Adrian: While the team was at my home, Adrian texted me encouraging me to inspect the team’s work and let them know if any “retouches” were needed. I let her know that I already had and shortly after they left, let her know that they did not address everything. Because of her text, I actually thought she cared and wanted to make sure that I was pleased with the work. She called me and asked me what they did not address, so I started to let her know, and she interrupted me to tell me that she wasn’t going to offer me a discount for the work (which I had never asked for) and was very aggressive and defensive. For certain “retouches” I brought up, she had no direct response and instead told me that they would never be able to make me happy, which was an odd comment considering she doesn’t know me and this was the first visit. For others, like the towels, she told me that her team wasn’t going to sit there and fold towels. She also asked me repeatedly why I didn’t bring up the “retouches” while the team was here/still working, as if there was a time limit and notifying her 10 minutes after they had left wasn’t timely. I had asked the team to “retouch” while they were here and then didn’t have an opportunity after they said they were done for the second time because they were already out the door. I was also working and not watching them do the work, but this seems to be her go-to reply. Adrian was completely unprofessional, and she had no interest in hearing about my experience. She just wanted to call and argue with me.

We really appreciate Mother B - they do a great job cleaning our home. Adrian is very responsive. We also very much like that they use cleaning products that are more environmentally friendly!

Avoiding harsh chemical is important to me for my family and my practice members, which is what drew me to this company specifically. I have had many cleaning services over the years, and Mother B Green Cleaning is the best I’ve ever had…by a longshot. They are polite, friendly, and do a wonderful job cleaning (not to mention, they only use environmentally friendly products)! Truly the best cleaning service I've used in Chicago! They work with my schedule, they are reliable, the natural products they use don't leave lingering chemical smells nor heavy artificial scents, they are not daunted by my maximalist decor, the pricing is fair, and most importantly - when they leave, our condo is clean!

Adrian was super communicative and helpful throughout the process. The cleaners did an excellent job — above and beyond what we expected (honestly don’t think we have ever seen our tub that clean!), and they were willing to clean around our four cats!

Mother B Green does an excellent job--detail oriented and their use of green cleaning products is a plus! Adrian is super-responsive and has both worked with us on occasional cleanings and more frequent ones while I have been recovering from an injury. Strongly recommend!

I have been using Mother B Green on and off for a few years and they make my life so much easier. I have pets and am sensitive to chemical smlls, which makes it tricky to clean my place. The Mother B Green team takes this in stride. They always do a thoughtful and thorough job and are incredibly flexible (today that meant doing anything loud first so I could give an important presentation in the second half of the cleaning window)
