They did everything they could to clean my carpet from where my cat had an accident. When the floor dried I could still smell the urine in that area so I called the guy back and he came out again free of charge and stayed for well over an hour to get it super clean! Thank you guys!

Great service. They have cleaned 2 rugs for me and each time they were ready for pickup earlier than promised.

We wanted to refer customers and have a large bulk order for rug cleaning but they wouldn't email us about the chemicals they use for us to share with our home office.

Wonderful spot, person working the desk was very kind and they did an excellent job cleaning our rug. Loaded rug into our car for us, pickup and drop off also available.

Treated horribly by the "owner" today. She called me demanding a credit card over the phone for payment. Having been the victim of identity theft, I was reluctant to give my credit card number over the phone. I requested to mail a check as EVERY OTHER SERVICE PROVIDER allows (4 Seasons, plumbers, various contractors, etc.). She called me a liar saying that I was trying to not pay her because of my fair and simple request to mail a personal check.
I have NEVER been treated as shabbily as this person treated me today.
I Recommend that you not use this company. I never leave reviews but could not believe how poorly I was treated today.

This place is the best. Honest, don't sell you on upgrades you don't need and just good carpet cleaners. Especially great for Turkish hand knotted rugs. And they will give you 20% off if you bring in and pick up your own rug and they will transport it after you park. Just need that friend at your house to help you get it in the car.

We took in a couple of insanely dirty rugs in hopes of cleaning them, we didn't understand they should have went in a lot sooner. Northcenter Rugs has been in business a long time.. they unrolled the rugs and we really noticed how soiled they were.. They came back so clean- and smelling great. NC doesn't harass you for not picking them up instantly, you get 20% off for bringing your own rugs in, and they do a great job! totally recommend!

A few years ago I had 2 area rugs cleaned for way less than another place had quoted me. They came back so nice I had them done again a year later to keep them nice. I have sent multiple friends to NC and they have had positive experiences also. I was nervous to do it again last year due to COVID but I am moving out of state soon and will definitely have my rugs done again before I go!

I just wanted to give a shout out to the scheduler. I wish I remembered her name. So pleasant and cheerful in helping me. So rare these days. I’ve used the services in past years and can vouch for the quality of cleaning. Ive has area rugs, wall to wall and furniture cleaned even stairs A+

Cannot say enough good things about Northcenter. They’ve cleaned my rugs a few times and it never disappoints. Tried pick up recently and was a white glove experience.

I first found them 4 years ago after my puppy was done with potty training (and before I was smart enough to take up my rugs). Rug came out beautifully.

Most recently, I put in new hardwood floors.

I dropped a 5x7 for cleaning and making of a rug pad. Didn’t think it was that dirty and, boy, was I wrong. Looks much brighter. And the felt rug pad to protect my floor really adds an extra “squish.”

The guys picked up a 10x14 for cleaning and making of a rug pad. They arrived early and the whole exchange took under 5min. The rug was ready a week later. Delivery was early(!!) again. The guys offered to place the giant rug and pad under my coffee / end tables and sofas. Then, they called in my credit card payment.

10/10 would recommend

Very pleased with the ease of service and affordable cost! Northcenter Rug Cleaners came to my apartment and cleaned a sofa and loveseat that I’d had for 6 years that had never been professionally cleaned (I have a dog and had several roommates during this time). They showed up on time and were done in about an hour, and the price they charged was half of what other companies had quoted me. The couches look refreshed and are no longer an embarrassment. Would use their services again!

I have been taking my area rugs to Northcenter Rug Cleaners for at least 15 years. I have always been pleased with the job they have done on all my rugs. Always done in a timely fashion. Always a fair price. Good people to work with. But the job they did most recently was truly MIRACULOUS!!!!! I brought in a silk rug my late husband purchased in India 20 years ago. It is beautiful. I left a candle burning over night, (a stupid and dangerous thing to do), and wax dripped in a large spot on the rug. I feared the rug would be ruined. But no! Northcenter Rug Cleaners got it to like new condition, A miracle!

Dropped off 2 of our rugs for professional cleaning. I paid for pet odor eliminator. I was excited when we picked them up brought them home a could not have been more disappointed. We didn't think they were even cleaned. I called to report my disappointment and instead of them offering to pick them up after not doing a good job. I had to bring the rugs back to them. Then I had to call them to follow up and they told me" Oh your rugs a ready". I picked them up and was still disappointed they didn't even look vacuumed. I have had better experience with in home cleaning. I assumed professional specialised rug cleaning should be far superior. Boy was I mistaken This was my first and my last experience with this place.

Dropped off two rugs to be cleaned here and got them back in a timely manner but that’s where the positives end. Neither rug looks any better than when we dropped them and one actually looks much worse. So disappointed in the money we spent. If the rugs were not going to be able to be properly cleaned, we should’ve been told up front.

This was my first time using this place. I had two large rugs picked up for cleaning on Feb 9 and they were returned on Feb 16. The rugs were dropped off. When I opened them, there was still dog hair on them. I called right away to describe the dog hair I found and they sent the drivers back to pick them up again. I was guaranteed by Donna that the carpets would be looked at again and cleaned of dog hair. I expressed via email my disappointment. They've been in business over 100 years, you can't tell me my carpet is the first one that had dog hair on it that they ever received. Carpet was returned Wed Feb 23. The larger rug was totally clean and that was the rug that was the dirtiest. The smaller was was not as bad but yes it had dog hair on it. For what I paid, I expect to get the rugs back with NO dog hair. However, the smaller rug still had dog hair on it. Based on their website video and statements listed, these rugs should have been 100% clean.

I received no call asking if I was satisfied with the rugs. I will not be using them again.

I dropped off three rugs to be cleaned, scotch guarded, and the highest level of pet protection they offered. I picked up the rugs and brought them home and NONE of the stains have been removed. I can’t even tell if the rugs were actually washed or not. Extremely disappointed I would highly recommend not to use this company.

I’m not happy. They charged me quite a bit for a simple clean. I asked about repairs on some threads that came up over the years and they the rug cleaner would call and let me know what that would cost. They called and said $75-85 and I said forget it I’ll do it myself. Later that week they texted and said it was ready for pick up and my mom went to get it and they charged her $85 for repairs. I literally told them not to do it but my mom paid anyway. We got it home, unwrapped it and no repairs were done.

Our heirloom Moroccan rug was ruined in a multitude of ways. We brought our rug there in January 2026 and it was returned not only with the stain unchanged, but also shrunk and with altered and bleeding colors. The attached photos tell the story.

The issues:
The rug shrunk by 9 or 10 inches in both width and length, and changed from a simple rectangle to a warped shape.
The colors are all completely different. The subtle colors are now neon.
Some of the colors have bled.
Finally, as noted, the stain is still there.

Not only was the rug ruined, but the customer service was terrible. It took weeks to get a manager to respond to our complaint after both calling and emailing. In the end it required over a month of back and forth and repeated reminders for them to review the damage and address it. In the end they gave us $120 towards the cost of cleaning and stretched the rug almost back to full size. But the rug is ruined. The manager (owner?) was also quite rude and aggressive on the phone. She offered me a free rug cleaning as well but I will never go back to this business. We have come to North Center Rug once before and been satisfied with the work, but something has changed.
