The contractors were relaxed and friendly. The cost is slightly higher than what I've seen elsewhere in the JS network, but the convenience factor makes up for it.

Had a terrible experience with this company, where I asked a straightforward question about Goodman circuit boards only to be met with hostility and a dismissive attitude, including the claim that they don't diagnose issues. The service was abysmal, making me extremely unlikely to return.

They've got a wide range of HVAC parts, which helped me out when I needed an aftermarket replacement for my unusual blower motor - it works like a charm. Keep in mind this is a contractor-only shop, so be prepared to know your stuff if you want to make a purchase.

I've used this service twice, getting furnace parts both times, and it's been great. The only catch is that returns aren't an option, so make sure to choose the right product or take it back with you - they'll swap it out for you. This is actually a really good thing, as it ensures accuracy.

Staff were very polite and knowledgeable, with a focus on getting the details right. The store had a good range of spare parts for Goodman equipment in stock. Our visit was made more manageable by the helpful store manager who offered assistance with quotes - especially if you're an installer or after hard-to-find items.

The service staff consistently go above and beyond to ensure I receive the correct part. Occasionally, they identify alternative components that might be a better match for my needs, showing a keen understanding of their products. Their expertise is greatly appreciated.

This team is outstanding, consisting of knowledgeable staff including Alex, Nate, Eric, and others who consistently offer valuable guidance and assistance.

I had a disappointing experience here today. I ordered a part online and let them know I wasn't an HVAC contractor, but rather working with one. When I arrived to pick it up, they raised the price on the spot, claiming I needed an EPA license for non-professional orders. The counter staff seemed put off by my order, saying it was disrupting others in line. The pricing was outrageous - I found the same part online for significantly less than their quoted price. The service was also incredibly rude, making me feel unwelcome. Needless to say, I won't be returning.

Good experience with their home services. The team is pleasant and helpful. Appreciate the assistance from Nick and the store manager, who promptly addressed my queries without delay.

I recently visited Johnstone Supply with a printed copy from RepairClinic, along with my furnace model number and the required part number. The staff member behind the counter told me that RepairClinic sometimes gets part numbers incorrect, but he managed to find the right one in their system.

Although they didn't have the OEM part, he found a suitable replacement at a significantly lower price of $48.75 plus tax. However, I was informed upfront that no refunds were accepted and all sales are final. When I arrived home to replace the faulty part, I discovered it wasn't compatible with my furnace.

I ended up purchasing the correct OEM part online from another source for $14.44. If a business is going to charge higher prices and have a no-returns policy, it's reasonable to expect them to sell the right replacement parts.

On an extremely cold day, I visited their store to pick up a furnace part that should have been under warranty, but Nathan at the counter assured me they had it in stock. However, he went behind the scenes and returned with the news that they didn't actually have it and would need to order it, taking 4-5 days. The waiting time extended beyond the initial estimate, adding another 4 days. This level of inefficiency is staggering, especially considering it's a critical part for keeping homes running during extreme cold snaps like this week in Siberia. To make matters worse, the line outside was massive, only to be met with nothing. The lack of basic inventory management and customer service skills is appalling.

Prices are steeper here than elsewhere, which is why I only shop here during emergencies. The customer service falls short of other locations - the staff seem uninterested and can come across as rude if you ask the wrong question. It's clear they prioritize efficiency over helping customers. Even the manager appears to be disconnected from quality service standards, which likely contributes to the lackluster atmosphere.

Terrible experience with this company. Ordered materials for all four departments, but the staff barely acknowledged my request to return some of it. Unimpressed with their service, won't be returning.

I've been stuck on the phone for 35 minutes already, and it's been another 20 since someone told me to keep waiting. The whole experience feels like a chore, especially since it's a Saturday. I'm getting frustrated that I have to wait so long just because it's a day off for them. It's starting to feel like they're trying to teach me a lesson by keeping me on hold this long. I'll probably stay here for a while longer, but that's not a good sign.

High prices with poor customer service. The staff is dismissive and uninformed, leading to the sale of faulty parts at inflated costs. Be cautious when purchasing - dispute the charge if a part is found to be defective. Online retailers offer better value for your money.

It took ages to reach the front desk, which was really frustrating and a poor start.

We visited the store with a qualified HVAC expert, expecting local knowledge, but received little assistance in answering our queries. The store didn't offer any alternatives or encouragement to explore their selection despite having everything needed available on Amazon.

Exceptional work done at unbeatable rates.

Alexander was extremely helpful in getting our unit up and running. He worked tirelessly to ensure everything was fixed and even followed up after the job to check on us.

Alexander swapped out the new condenser with ease, ensuring everything worked properly. He explained each step clearly and addressed all my concerns thoroughly.

Here's a rewritten version of the review:

I went with the DIY/family route and had them clean up after me. It was worth biting my tongue and paying them.

Since their visit, I've been enjoying steady heat, even in the 70s, which is a relief since it's an electric heat pump - not a huge environmental worry.

My pipes were frozen, my plants and pets were in shambles, and I really needed to use my induction cooktop. Thankfully, they thawed out and fixed the pipes, and I'm now cooking again without needing full winter gear to boil water. Some plants didn't make it, but others are barely clinging on.

I had bought a DIY kit's "Mr Cool" product, which was okay, but I wish these folks were part of the installation. There's still room for improvement - at best, my system is around 90% efficient, and there are some extra holes in my wall that aren't ideal.
