Traveled from Indiana,to this place and found what I need it , very knowledgeable people and honest service, I would go there anytime.

I came here to make a purchase and the guy was very rude did not want to look nor speak to me regarding the purchase. I felt so uncomfortable I walked out without the item I really needed.

This place is amazing. The days of having someone to assist you in the store is limited these days. Home Depot or Menards could not help me. I fixed my washer and replaced my pipes under my kitchen sink. South Chicago staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I will we had more through-back stores like this.

First time here. Very family oriented store, two brothers are at the front doing the service, sister helping out as well. Very friendly and open people.
Had exactly what I needed and at a good price. This will be my new go to location.

Called Hymans (very good spot, left review about them before as well) on 8614 S Commercial 60617 and they referred me here (even had the number on hand). I called and one of the brothers walked me through each step with total patience and knowledge. I never felt rushed and he knew exactly what he was talking about. It helped that I watched some YouTube videos so I could relate to what he was saying. He made a suggestion and told me how to test it. After testing I found his assumption was correct and I came in to purchase the part. Best spot in Chicago, still has that Ma & Pa feel to it like the customers are Family.

My family used to buy our supplies here back in the late 70s and early 80s. The family owners were honest and hard workers. I was just a boy then I'm now 51 and in Fort Worth TX, I can't belive this store is still there. I hope it's there forever.

Needed a furnace igniter day of and no place had the exact same kind I needed. Not ace hardware menards or home depot. Called them ahead of time that we were going in late and they said they would wait and bless them because they had the one I needed and waited for us after closing time. I can not express how helpful and friendly they were. I really appreciate this place and will go back there anytime I have a similar issue

We went there for an obscure adapter for the kitchen sink. They had the part. Great service, reasonable prices. Close to home. No need to go to a big box store.

Above and beyond for the community. Would rather spend an extra dollar with them because they actually know their shit and will not steer you wrong. You cannot buy experience and honesty.

They were open on a Sunday, I had my furnace blower wheel explode when it was 3 degrees out.... South Chicago Plumbing and Heating Supply not only had the part I needed, it was $40 cheaper than I could order one online and I had it picked up and replaced quicker than I could have had a $200 emergency call scheduled and I still had time to set down for the Bears game by 5:30... They saved me in pinch, so they will be my go to from now on!
