They were able to make my front yard into everything I’ve always imagined! Their attention to detail makes them worth every penny.

I've always had a great experience with the crews. All of them are very friendly and courteous. Customer service made my day, they're a great company to do business with.

They aren't worth the cost. Very expensive grass cutter.
They don't trim bushes, pull weeds, fertilize, prune flowers or edge.
They just cut the grass. Not a landscaper, just a grass cutter.

I'm very impressed with their design work. They implement plenty of variety and colorful landscaping ideas that really brings your yard visions to life!:) I've always experienced wonderful service with them.

Worth every penny! I had a very specific pipe dream on how I wanted my landscaping to look like. They were very attentive and professional all throughout; and the attention to detail they've provided was impeccable. Couldn't be happier with the results!

Hired this company to get my grass cut at my complex. The guys blocked half of the road pulled about 8 feet from my car as they started their lawnmower they damaged my vehicle overall a bad experience very unprofessional very horrible company literally go with anybody but them.

Hawthorne Landscaping / Jose was hired by the apartment complex behind my home to remove a very large, shared tree behind my home on June 10, 2025 to prepare for a fence installation on my property. What I thought was a very nice gesture by the apartment complex to pay for the removal, has turned into a nightmare. They arrived with nothing more than guys chainsaws/saws & definitely did not have the appropriate equipment to get the job right - no climbers, or lift basket to remove large branches safely. I had a different company there removing other trees at the same time and he predicted it was going to go very poorly, which it did. I have/had a pear tree on the other side of the fence from where the tree was being removed and more than one time, a large limb they cut down on the tree they were working on fell onto the pear tree over the fence knocking off huge limbs. The crew looked over at me and gave me a shrug and an “oops” look. After the second limb fell my pear tree, I told them to stop working immediately, because who knows where the next huge limb will fall, maybe on my house. More than half of the pear tree had already been destroyed at that point and it needs to be removed and replaced. I reached out to Jose to try to get to a resolution and he has been giving me the run around since June 11 and refusing to do anything to rectify the damage he and his crew caused. His staff, Darlene even hung up on me 3 times this morning while trying to get additional information from her. This company is completely unprofessional, and I would NEVER do business with them. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

Needed to redo our sump pump line outside of our house to the ditch. His price was way under other bids. Work was completed quickly and expertly. Continued to use his services for snow removal and grass cutting. Again, his prices were cheaper than other establishments and I was very satisfied with his quality of work. Very professional and courteous when speaking in person and always answered texted promptly.

I had 3 layers of cement blocks surrounding my home that shifted and sunk over the years. Lupe and his employee removed all the bricks, stamped down the ground, laid gravel, and put the bricks back and made sure everything was level. Lots of labor intensive work. He glued the bricks together so they will no longer shift over time. The results are amazing!!!! I never hired a professional landscaper before and I am so glad I did. He pays attention to the details. He even put down grass seed. I highly recommend hiring Greengold Landscaping. I will be hiring them again to do additional work.

Greengold Landscape, under the direction of Lupe fixed my problematic front stairs. One of the issues was adding new pavers to blend with the existing older pavers. Lupe suggested a rustic trip-color paver. He then redesigned and completely reconstructed the stairs and walkway. I was very pleased with the outcome. His workmanship is excellent. I was also impressed with the attention to detail as he and Alberto finished the project. I highly recommend Greengold Landscape and will definitely use their landscaping services in the future.

Lupe and his crew did a fantastic job! This is the first time we have hired professional landscapers. They removed 2 trees and really gave our home a fresh and updated look! Lupe is extremely knowledgeable and when we have future landscaping needs, this is where we will call.

Lupe was fantastic throughout the entire process of getting a quote, working on permits/HOA approval, and answering our many questions. We had retaining wall with white marble stone put in throughout our front yard and had a beautiful Westport brick patio with a fire pit installed in the backyard. We absolutely love how everything turned out and are excited to finally be able to use our backyard more! They also completed the work quickly despite multiple days of rain during their 1st week of work. The quality is top notch and they went above and beyond to make sure everything looked sharp and nothing looked unfinished or like it needed something else. They even added a layer to our main area with the retaining wall because it looked better along with additional soil at no cost to us. Love the design, great company and employees, and pricing seemed reasonable. Highly recommended! We will definitely be using them in the future for additional landscaping needs.

I’m so pleased with the services Greengold Landscape did for us today!
I called them to reset patio pavers that had settled causing water and ice to gather.
They were prompt and efficient and we do not anticipate any further water pooling issues.
They also power washed the whole patio and area where they worked, and even blew the leaves off the driveway on their way out. Our patio looks better than ever!

This was our first time using a landscaping company an let me tell you my wife an I were an still are beyond impressed with the hard work an professionalism that is GreenGold Landscaping. Lupe the owner an head of the project was very informative an explained everything he had planned to do. We had a lot of work to do in the front an backyard. Our home hasn't had a good upgrade like this in 24 years so we were way overdue. The skilled team he had with them were very hardworking an friendly. We couldn't be more happy with our choice to go with GreenGold Landscaping. We will be a customer for life because the way they took care of our needs, GreenGold made us feel like part of the family. We had trees removed, tons of new flowers an bushes replaced, the rest of the trees were trimmed up very well. We had lots of nice size stones placed in the yard with the new mulch beds that added levels an dept to our yard. All new grading around my property because over the years my house has been sinking in some an GreenGold knew how to fix it for the right price an used the right tools for the job.

I just want to thank GreenGold Landscaping again for the amazing work they have completed here to make our home feel more comforting an beautiful. I really cant say enough good things about this company other than look no further for the company that will fulfil your dreams an more. Lupe and his crew did a really amazing job with our landscaping, we love it. However, we spent 21k with his company and will honestly never use him again or recommend him to anyone. Our first problem, he was halfway through the project and then stopped coming. He informed us while working on our project that he got a 40k project to complete after us, so We are guessing he paused on our project to start on that job. We had to threaten to not pay the remainder of the balance for him to come back and finish. Second problem, he does not stand by his work or his contract. He finished our project mid May and several of our perennials and almost all of our shrubs have died. He doesn’t respond to texts or calls once he knows he has to come back to do work (especially if you’re a female). We have spent so much money with Lupe and are now left with a yard full of dead landscaping. We’re beyond frustrated with this company.

8/24/23 UPDATE:
Today Greengold’s Lupe and his crew did another fantastic job on our patio and landscaping. They leveled up all the bricks that needed leveling, ( which were very few) replaced stained bricks, power washed and double sealed the patio! Wow it looks brand new!!!! They also did another fantastic job with our landscaping!!!! Well done Lupe!!!!
I know that they are extremely busy and a little difficult to get scheduled but Lupe will work you in! Looking forward to seeing you guys again next spring for landscaping needs! The below comments still hold true!

I wish there were 10 Stars... because that is what I would give GREENGOLD Landscaping! We’ve had outstanding comments about how great our yard looks from our neighbors and strangers. The one thing you can’t see from the pictures, is the French Drain they installed take care of our front water problems. Beautiful Job.

GREENGOLD also resealed our patio that they installed 5 years ago. It looks brand new! Their workmanship is outstanding! After five years, our patio remains as level and beautiful as the day they installed it! GREENGOLD knows how to do it right!!!!
