Reviews of local pros in Crest Hill, Illinois

We had a huge backyard project - plantings, grading, sod, and stone. Lupe spent many hours with us planning. He was always on time, always professional, always responsive. His work product was incredible, it always surpassed our highest expectations. The best part - his pricing was great! I can not recommend him enough. This is the first review I have ever posted about a landscaper and will most likely be my last because Lupe will be our choice from now on. Thank you Lupe for everything.

Lupe and his crew did a superb job removing old stone and landscaping with pavers, stone and plants around the entire perimeter of our home and back yard as well. We are extremely satisfied with the finished work and highly recommend Greengold.

Customers beware!!! I purchased paver bricks and had them installed for almost 10K from this company. The owner lupe, is very arrogant and schedules appointments and does not show up. Also I had issues from their bad measurements and knowledge, they cracked my foundation on my house and tried to cover it up. I ate the cost on the damage. On separate occasions, I called to use them to relevel my bricks, and again, I was blown off after taking days off work to be available. I will be reporting these actions and poor service to the BBB.

Lupe was very professional from his initial visit when we discussed the layout and construction of my paver brick patio and sidewalks, throughout the entire construction and completion. He and his crew were very receptive to my ideas throughout.
Lupe always explained each and every step of the construction process. He is extremely knowledgeable of the products they use.
His crew took exceptional care to protect my existing structures and lawn from damage while they worked. At the end of each day they did an excellent job cleaning up the worksite and my driveway. My finished patio and sidewalks exceeded my expectations. As a result I have informed Lupe that I am seriously considering having him redo my driveway in paver brick next spring rather than concrete which I was planning to do.
Besides the paver brick, Lupe also did landscape work for me as well. I am anxiously awaiting next spring/summer to see all this work in bloom.
For anyone considering paver brick work or landscaping in the future, I would strongly recommend calling Lupe at GreenGold Landscaping.

We’ve lived in our house for 18 years and our experience with Greengold Landscaping was the first time we hired a contractor and everything went very smoothly without issue. Lupe was very responsive and helpful during the estimation process while redesigning our front landscape. Him and his team did a great job and we are extremely happy with the results! The Greengold team took such care of our property it felt like they were working on their own houses. In our experience, this is rare and we would definitely recommend Lupe and Greengold and we will continue to use them for our landscape needs. Thanks again Lupe!

I have had the pleasure of Greengold Landscaping helping me for years. The quality of of work is second to none. He communicates all of the steps and timing upfront. His pricing is fair, especially in our current market. He and his team and flexible to meet your needs and availability. I can't say enough good things. Thanks to the team for my most recent project completed 07/26/2022.

So excited and happy ! My patio and landscaping are amazing . Lupe was a pleasure to work with from start to finish !

This company was amazing. I got 5 quotes, they were fair with their price and very professional. Lupe is very knowledgeable and knows his stuff. They did a drainage system in my back yard. I will be using them again very soon.

Recently had Lupe and his crew come and do some grading on our property. I had gotten a few estimates from other companies. Greengold was competitive but what set them apart was how detailed they were in explaining what needed to be done. Other companies seemed less knowledgable on what would fix our drainage issue. Lupe knew immediately what needed to be done.

They arrived on the appointed morning as expected. Lupe explained to me once again what they were going to do fix the problem and asked if I had any questions. His crew was diligent, polite and fast. The job was done quickly and Lupe was wonderful. It was a pleasure having him in our home. I would recommend this company over and over again. True professionals.

Lupe and his team are amazing. The landscaping in my front and backyard needed to be completely redone. Their ideas magically came to life to be better than expected. Thank you for making my lakefront and yard look beautiful.

Lupe and his crew did an amazing job with our landscaping and patio project. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about the work they did. They far exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend them and their work. Lupe was phenomenal from the beginning of the process. He came out the day after I messaged him about an estimate and thoroughly explained what work would be completed and gave us a quote for the work. I was very impressed with his knowledge and excitement for the work that would be completed. Throughout the entire process, Lupe was there to answer any questions or concerns we had. While the guys were at our home, they were respectful and kept everything clean at the end of the day in our yard. He was more than happy to show me the steps taken with our drainage installation and our flagstone patio installation. We could not have asked for anything more from Lupe and his crew. They are professional and courteous and truly know what they are doing! My husband and I both feel like Lupe is a friend and a great business man! Keep up the great work and I've already shared your contact information with friends, so that they can have the same great experience! Thank you again to Lupe and your crew!

The quality and workmanship of Greengold Landscaping was outstanding. Lupe, the owner and his employees were very professional and thoughtful. They offered advise above and beyond regarding other areas of our yard. It was a pleasure watching them work! I would recommend them without a doubt. Thank you Greengold Landscaping for an awesome patio!!!!

We used Lupe and his team for our pool project and in no uncertain terms it was the most positive experience that I've ever had with a construction type service provider. We've done a ton of projects both in and out of our house and it is one of the most frustrating activities that you can do, largely because you're at the mercy of a contractor who is sloppy and/or unresponsive. Lupe is a perfectionist and I've never seen anyone care as much about doing something RIGHT vs EASY and respond the way he did. There is always someone CHEAPER I'm sure but Lupe is reasonably priced and you definitely get what you pay. I would HIGHLY recommend Greengold for any landscaping project you might have.

The team did a great job landscaping our backyard so it is in tip top shape and they did a fantastic job with our front yard. Lupe, the owner, is very honest and did his best to work with our budget. He even gave us advice about our plants. I would absolutely return to them for future landscaping needs!!

This is my first time working with Lupe. He and his crew did an amazing job installing our patio with a gas fire pit. I cannot recommend them enough. Before they started, Lupe thoroughly explained how this was going to work. He also had some great suggestions during the install. So glad I listened. I am getting a quote from them for landscaping the front of our house in the fall or next spring. Highly recommended.

So very grateful to Lupe and his staff!!! BEAUTIFUL WORK!!! Totally transformed out overgrown yard to an oasis!!! He had great ideas and delivered completely. Lupe is very passionate about his work and is very transparent with his clients ensuring they receive the high quality of service and products they are paying for!! I will DEFINITELY use his services again and have recommended him to neighbors and friends!!!! Trust me I struggled with finding someone who would do the job correctly and at a fair price, so I literally PRAYED about this and God answered through him and his team!!! Don't hesitate, Lupe and his team DELIVERS!!!!

Lupe and his crew did a phenomenal job. They built our retaining wall and framed the sidewalks. Lupe is extremely patient and knowledgeable. He took his time and really listen to our ideas and brought them to life. His whole crew was very professional and fast. We could not be happier with the way it turned out. If you are looking for someone that really takes pride in their work than you are in the right place.

Highly recommend Lupe and his crew for any landscape projects. We needed an upgrade on our yard and they had many recommendations for new plants and stone work. We love our new yard!

I am very impressed with the quality of work and service provided by Jose and his team. They are very efficient, attentive to detail, and very reliable. My lawn has never looked better. Highly recommend for any lawn maintenance needs.

Jose and his team do any excellent job regardless of size of job. They take care to not harm any plantings while cutting grass or placing mulch. We have used J&B for grass cutting mulching and fall leave clean up. They do an excellent job at affordable prices.

Great job
