AP just (September 2020) removed multiple trees at my elderly parents home in Elgin. An over-mature 65-foot silver maple with four trunks had become dangerous, and a large branch broke off which scared my elderly parents. The tree was still towering above power lines and the house. It was surgically removed thoughtfully, carefully, and with zero damage to power lines, the house and the property. Other over-mature trees were also removed.

They gave me a hard hat and I primarily took pictures and video. As a guy with my own chainsaws and such, I was very impressed with the picker truck, chipper shredder, chainsaws, roping, harnesses, etc. Their equipment was well maintained, worked flawlessly and so did they. Having been involved in tree work where equipment failed and delayed work, I was happy to see everything worked, literally, like a well oiled machine.

In summary, excellent work, fair price, great value and everything was spotlessly cleaned up. Most of all my elderly parents feel safer in their home of 53 years, and that’s priceless. I strongly recommend AP.

Alfonso is sincere and honest, always carefully completing the work in his proposal including extra trimming when needed. He has maintained the trees on our property for a number of years. He has done a superior job trimming dead branches in established trees. In addition he has removed a number of trees and stumps. Each job has been performed with professional care, respecting our yard and landscaping. Fantastic company! Alfonso and team great job! Alfonso gave a fair quote to take down a large tree next to my house and grind stump. He skillfully took down tree it was enjoyable to watch the process. Guys all worked very hard and did a great job and cleaned everything up afterwards. I will definitely use them for my future projects.

Have been using Alfonso and his team at AP for years now.. From taking down a couple large pine trees in front to removing large limbs from a couple trees in the back yard.. In fact they come back every year to trim and shape a buckthorn tree in the back . Always quick to call back and setup a time to come and give a price for the work needed.. Price is very reasonable and the work is top-notch.. The guys also do a fine job of cleaning up after they are done.. If you're looking to have some tree work done.. In my opinion, AP TREE SERVICES would be a great place to start.. They have always done a fantastic job for me..👍

If you are in need of professional, knowledgeable and personable tree service, I recommend AP Tree Service Experts. While my experience with them was a little different they came highly recommended by someone who have used their tree services on multiple occasions. My needs were a little different. I managed to get not one but two drones stuck on my neighbors roof. My brother who uses AP Tree as a vendor called Alfonso for advice and/or assistance. He explained the situation and that it was important to get them done before it rained. AP arrived at my location within 30 minutes and mind you that this is 7PM on Saturday but Alfonso thought enough of my brother as a current customer and me as a new customer to go above and beyond the call of duty. This is not his line of work but AP believes strongly in customer service and showing customer appreciation. Alfonso assessed the situation went got his bucket truck, went up and retrieved the drones. It is now dark but that didn’t stop Alfonso, he completed the mission. By 8:30PM, it had started raining but that was no problem as I was home with freshly retrieved drones. Had Alfonso not come when he did, this story could have taken a horrible turn. They were not only on time and professional but took great care to ensure that my drones were returned damage free. I couldn’t thank him enough and all he said is that he was glad that he was able to help. It’s just so great in a day and age where customer service and the value of customers has diminished greatly, that there are still companies like AP Tree out here that is willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. I highly recommend Alfonso for all of tree service needs because hopefully you will never be in need of a drone rescue. I can’t guarantee that they will be at your location in 30 minutes but I can guarantee that when they arrive they will value you as a customer and get the job done.

Great first time dealings with AP Tree Service. Knowledgeable and skilled, Alfonso and his team know what they're doing. I had a tree split and crash in to my house, luckily the gutters took most of the damage, but Alfonso and his crew handled it with caution and were very thorough. Definitely using their services again.

This company is GREAT and super professional. They focus on their expertise -> trees (not landscaping) and deliver great service with a very reasonable pricing. (I've checked many estimates - quality matters $$$).

We had them trimming, shaping 4 mature trees last year, that haven't been taken care of for long time. We were very happy with the effects and pricing.
That was maybe slightly higher pricing comparing with other company, BUT I felt that during estimate talk "this man knows his job". So we went with them. And I HIGHLY recommend them, because they knw their craft.

This year (2023) one of the oldest trees gave up during storm and it had to be removed. (the tree that we did trim here and there but did not want to remove in 2022 - plus nobody would think that it is going to get damaged).
AP got things professionally arranged from the start. They did the job in a professional manner.
Like everything is clean now. No more tree stomp. Just waiting for a new tree planting idea.

This is a good company. Everything from the initial contact to the handshake at the end of the job was easy and professional. Alfonso and his team removed 6 trees and ground the stumps, cabled a birch, and trimmed/pruned the rest of the property...all in one day. The whole crew was courteous, efficient, operated safely and cleaned up nicely. Pricing was right on. I have nothing but praise and will gladly hire them again. Great job.

Had them out twice since we moved out here in May. The property was neglected for some time. 13 trees the first time, a few more on the second trip. They did a great job, from quote to cleanup! Highly recommended

Alfonso and his team are true professionals. Based on a recommendation from a neighbor, I called AP Tree Service Experts for an estimate to have a large, broken limb removed that had fallen into a neighbor's yard. Alfonso came out that same afternoon and we discussed the limb removal and decided to have the whole tree taken down (for a fair price.) The very next morning the team removed the limb and the following week the rest of the tree.

They did an amazing job. The very tall, large tree was in a tight spot but considerable care was taken around the fence, existing plants, and bushes. Everything was cleaned up and all debris removed. I won't hesitate to call Alfonso and his team for any future tree removal needs we might have. Our next door neighbors were so impressed with their work, they had AP remove branches and trim a tree in their yard.

Alfonso and his team did a fantastic and fast job of taking down an old tree wedged in a tight corner between my garage and a fence. They arrived right on time and had the whole thing down and done in under two hours.

Not only that, he was the fastest to provide an estimate while I was shopping for quotes, and his price was by far the most fair.

I will use AP Tree Service for any and all future trimming/removal needs after seeing the quality and speed of work they provide.

If your looking for a no nonsense, fairly priced, professional tree service this is the company. I contacted AP Tree Service last Monday for a quote to remove a tree that feel in the late winter ice storm. Alfonso came out the next day to take a look and gave me reasonable quote. He didn't try to start really high and then come down on the price. There was no need to negotiate or haggle because he gave a good price. He said they could be out on Saturday. I booked the service. Then on Friday morning they messaged that they could come out that day.

When they arrived they got right to it, removing branches, cutting up the trunk. They got done fairly quick, cleaned up thoroughly, and left. Alfonso took time to talk to me when I came out to ask questions. All in all it was a professional service, great clean up, and reasonably priced compared to the other quotes I got.

AP Tree Service is a very professional and efficient company. Had a tree fall down on my barn last year due to a bad storm. They came out to look at it and gave me an estimate. Within the same day they removed the whole tree and left not a single branch behind! They offer very fair and reasonable pricing. Will be calling them for my tree needs and fire wood needs. Alphonso arrived right on time and provided me a very fair estimate for the removal of a very large river birch. He and team were again right on time day of removal. They completely removed the tree and cleaned up the entire area. If u know river birches u know that in itself is no quick task as they are very messy trees. Super nice guys very professional. AP Tree Service was taking care of some storm damage at my neighbor's house. Asked them for a price to remove a Blue Spruce tree next to my driveway that was dying and dropping sap on my cars. Alfonso gave me a fair price, that I accepted. They went to work on the tree right away and had the tree was down in no time. They were fast, safe, efficient, and clean.
