Contracted to disconnect basement toiled and laundry washtub for basement perimeter sump drainage tile excavation/installation. Sump contractor found leaking sub floor iron pipe failing (after 92 years). Flader came and replaced the failed piping (after slight additional excavation) and enabled completion of the sump project. Professional, timely, effective, fair. Also reconnected toilet and washbasin after completion of sump work. Also have used them for replacement of two water heaters. Happy with their service and communications. Will happily continue to use Flader.

Got taken advantage of by these guys, again. Last time, was replacing a kitchen faucet and had the foresight to check their prices first. I was able to get the exact model we wanted online for far less than the Fladers said they could get it for. Hmmm. Ok, they came and installed it when it arrived, but the rubber drain ring for the disposer I had asked for was "not on the truck". I paid for everything and a few days later he came back to snap that ring in, literally 30 seconds of work, and we got a new bill for $75. Not my fault he didn't bring it first time. This time, we had a leaky bathroom faucet. He "didn't have the part on the truck". He came back later with the part, while I was out. My wife said he charged $450, including $160 for a part I can buy at Home Depot for $24. The whole faucet is listed for $150 at Home Depot. Find a less greedy plumber, I know I will.

I am a repeat customer and have always been impressed by Flader's prompt and professional response to our plumbing problems whether it's replacing a broken outdoor "freeze-free" spigot, or installing a replacement disposal or broken toilet fixture. When my neighbors ask me who I recommend for plumbing issues, these are the guys.

I called and spoke to Barb who was polite and apologized.
While Flader did good work, they were dishonest and frankly manipulative with their quote and pricing.

We had a sewer back up within a day of Thanksgiving. Flader came very fast and fixed the blockage. They also came two days later and did a camera study and rodding to figure out where the blockage was in our sewer. Overall, they did a very good job. The technician was helpful and friendly.

Doug was prompt, courteous and efficient. He tackled my plumbing problem and restored hot water in our bathroom faucet. It works great! Definitely recommend Flader to anyone looking for a plumbing company!

Flader does quality work the first time. While they're sometimes a bit expensive, we've had them back several times so I guess we're comfortable with the trade offs. They have done an out-door shower, toilet fix, sprinkler system, boiler issues, among other jobs. They are polite and easy to work with. If it's a big enough job to hire a plumber, it's worth doing it well. Flader should be on the short list for Evanston area plumbing.

While I’m 30-miles away from their central office, I gave them a call and they dispatched a technician who arrived right on time, first thing in the morning. I called for emergency after-hours service for a burst pipe at my 94-year old mother’s home on a Friday, a couple minutes before closing. The pleasant, courteous woman to whom I spoke listened patiently, and everything was explained thoroughly.
When I called back to confirm the service call, I spoke to Doug, who modeled the same professionalism as I’d experienced on the earlier call.
The service technician he sent arrived ahead of schedule, located the problem, replaced the burst pipe section, and was finished and out the door quickly. He, too, was pleasant, patient, courteous, and a true professional.
I am delighted with the service I received and I highly recommend this company.

We recently had the motor of our ejector pit go out. I called Flader at 7am and by 4pm they had completely fixed the issue and it took four plumbers to complete the job. The original pump was over 100 years old and they had to figure out a solution and how to update the system. The price was so reasonable and their responsiveness was excellent.

Always a great experience working with Flader. They're prompt, communicative, and friendly. I really value their expertise and have always had great experiences both in terms of HVAC and plumbing. Never feel like they're trying to pull one over on me. Highly recommend!

Flader Plumbing installed a new RPZ back flow valve for our irrigation system and we were so impressed! Greg, the plumber, arrived on time, explained what needed to be done and showed us his work when it was completed. He was so professional and filled out the necessary form for our Village confirming the new valve was installed and was working properly. We will definitely use Flader Plumbing again. Great service.

We asked Flader if they could improve the AC in my office. Kyle came and did an inspection and assessed what improvements would be needed. Then a couple of weeks later they did the work in a couple of hours, and now my office is nice an comfortable. We've used Flader for years, very happy with the service and professionalism that we've received!

Flader Plumbing Heating has now done three jobs at our home:
1.) Supported our Kitchen Remodel
2.) Installed a dual-pump sump pump system
3.) Cleared the drains on our window wells (4 of the 5 were blocked with one actually filling with water and leaking into the basement)

The people were friendly, courteous, and professional. The work was excellent. The cost was very reasonable.

I wouldn't recommend their company to anyone I know, their plumber came over to our house on a service call and charged my wife $400 for 1 hour and a half to tell us something that we already knew ' water leek under our foundation'.....feeling pretty ripped off

I manage a 100+ year old multifamily building with its fair share of plumbing issues. Since switching our business over to Flader we are very pleased with the service quality and professionalism we have gotten. Most recently they rebuilt a complicated old shower valve that was leaking which dropped our water bill by 75% ! They were also able to repair a leaky RPZ valve for our boiler and inspect it for the city certification. Its nice to have a plumbing company that understands these old buildings on the north shore!
