I have had my house cleaned bi-weekly by JCE Services for a couple of years. With each cleaning service you are asked about priorities, if there is anything that needs extra attention or if there is anything you would like added. I generally have them do a standard service but will occasionally add on things I would consider as extra like a deep oven clean or cleaning baseboards. They are prompt with communicating service times and dates as well. Overall very easy to work with. The price has always matched the level of service too.

I was so excited to begin working with this company and their first service was very impressive! After that it went downhill very quickly. Two more cleanings two weeks apart, both with different people (3 cleanings, 3 different crews) each time I had to schedule it again and hope I could get on the schedule. Each time they came they had no idea what they had to clean despite the form that is completed and given to them. Your crew is changed at the last minute and you don’t know who they are, don’t know how many people will be cleaning so you don’t know how long they’ll be in your house….
If you call the company their contact person is zero help, just tells you they should know etc. The last two crews had MAJOR language barriers so I couldn’t communicate with them, couldn’t explain what they should do. The service is inconsistent, to say the least

I ended up needing to do a lot of cleaning myself after so not sure it was a reasonable price

Dawn's service is excellent in all ways. Timely, trustful and thorough.

They would not come to the house to go over what they clean and give me a bid, but my husband went and hired them anyway. When I got home from work I found items not cleaned, toilet, bathtub, bedroom furniture not dusted. When I called, I received a call back promptly and she was very nice and said she'd send someone over to clean the house again. The night before they were to come back, I opened up my makeup mirror and broken glass fell out. I will now have to do a thorough check to see if anything else is broken or missing.

I have used Dawn's Domestic Cleaning around 2+ years. I went from 1/month to bimonthly. The ladies are kind, friendly, and thorough. They get the job done in a thorough and timely manner. Dawn is great about being flexible if needed (I've had to adjust periodically) and always communicates via text reminders on day and ETA. I definitely recommend!

The ladies are friendly, show up on time, and do a very thorough job of cleaning. There are usually 2-3 in the crew and they are usually finished in about 1 hour (we have a large home). Their main office calls the day before the cleaning to remind us that they will be there the next day. Before we started the service they came to our home inspected all of the rooms and gave us an estimate—which was very competitive with the other local clearing services. We have used them for over 2 years now and continue to be very happy with their quality service. My wife and I highly recommend them.

Diminishing effectiveness of cleaning over time. I used Dawn's Domestic Cleaning for 2-3 years. They started well and did a great job, tackling all of the basics on their list. This was during a period when I was having remodeling done and I know it was a challenge for them. Then they slowly reduced the amount of time they would spend on the house from 2 hrs down to 45 minutes until basic things were no longer being done. They would just skip some of the basics and refuse to do others. They refused to dust the upper shelves in bookcases, even when I offered to purchase an extending duster with different heads that would easily do the job. And no amount of calling Dawn or talking to the cleaners could make it right. At the end of the day, I was no longer getting what I was paying for.

There were 2 ladies. I asked what cleaning activities did they do? They did not do the things they told me. I have vinyl plank upstairs and they did not even wash the floor. I had a cobweb hanging from my bathroom ceiling after they left. My floors on the main level were not washed only stiffened. They did not dust all the Shades. I do t have time to monitor these people. They should be able to do the work without the customer following them around. I paid $280 and they left in less than 2 hours. I have a 4000 square foot 3level home. Very poor service. I will be sharing my experiences with others.

I booked a cleaning with this service 2–3 weeks in advance. Dawn informed me that the housekeeper would arrive between 9:30 and 9:40 AM on the day of service. I later called to let her know I’d need to step out during that time and asked if that would be an issue, especially since it was the first time someone would be cleaning my home. She assured me it was "no problem" and mentioned they regularly clean homes while clients are away.

On the day of the appointment, 9:45 AM came and went with no sign of the housekeeper. I had to leave for a business meeting, so I called Dawn again—only to find out the housekeeper was still 40 minutes away, coming from Grayslake to my home in Batavia (a trip that takes nearly an hour). Dawn said I could leave and the housekeeper could still clean, but I made it clear I wasn’t comfortable leaving my door unlocked for someone I’d never met.

This was an extremely disappointing experience. For a company that’s been in business for years and, according to Dawn, cleans over 70 homes, I expected much better planning and communication. Sending someone from so far away without accounting for travel time—or informing me of the delay in advance—was unacceptable. My house still hasn’t been cleaned. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this one was not a good start.

I had my first cleaning this week by Rachel, and she really made it my best day of the week. There's nothing like a clean house! She did an excellent job and was very efficient. I look forward to her keeping my home "house guest ready" on a regular basis! Katherine was quick to respond to my request for proposal and the price was quite reasonable. Her follow-up was fantastic; she really cares about the quality of my customer experience.

Amber and Allison were here this week to do a badly-needed deep clean, and they did a great job. They were friendly, efficient, thorough, and left everything sparkling. We were very happy with the results, and as a bonus, it ended up costing less than the initial estimate. We look forward to working with Best Day Housecleaning on a regular basis.

I have been using Best Day for a couple of months. My house cleaning was being completed in less time than expected by Kathy, the owner. This week after my cleaning she called me to see if I was pleased with Morgan’s work, which I am. Kathy then told me that she was reducing my fee to better reflect the time frame the cleaning took. I am so pleased she initiated the call because I was going to contact her after Memorial Day to talk about a fee adjustment. What a surprise and pleasure to work with an agency led with that integrity and honesty.

Our first experience with Best Day housecleaning was a good one. Our cleaning VIP's were Sam and Allison. They asked great questions to fully understand what we needed....and what we didn't. They worked very well together as a team to complete the job. They were polite, dressed appropriately, and very professional. Trust is a big thing for me, and I felt this team was trustworthy. We plan on using them again!

We had a first time visit from Best Day Housecleaning this week and had a Deep Clean. Jalena and Pamela were friendly, professional, and hard workers. They left the house very clean and smelling fresh. My husband commented they exceeded expectations, and I agree!

Samantha is one of the hardest workers I’ve ever met! She is always prompt, friendly and professional. We really enjoy when she comes to clean because we always have the best conversations. She does a fabulous job of cleaning the entire house and we never have to clean up after she leaves. We always look forward to her visit.

Katherine, the owner is always very accommodating if we have to reschedule. She is very nice and always willing to make it work for the customer. We are so happy that we found this service and thank Katherine for giving us Samantha to help with our needs.
