Reviews of local pros in Geneva, Illinois

Jorge and his team are excellent! Prompt, clear communication, and most importantly stellar work. This is the company I trust with work on my home and is the one I refer family and friends to if they have issues.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Safe Fire Chimney, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. They completed a full chimney replacement and installed a new gas log insert. From start to finish, their communication was excellent. Jorge, George, and their entire team kept us informed throughout the process, ensuring we knew what to expect.

Not only was their work top-notch, but they also provided a reasonable estimate for the entire project. The whole team was professional, courteous, and efficient, making the experience smooth and stress-free.

I highly recommend Safe Fire Chimney to anyone in need of chimney services. Their exceptional workmanship, clear communication, and friendly service truly set them apart.

Jorge and his crew came out, gave us a fair price and actually moved up the scheduled rebuild time we originally agreed upon by about 2 weeks. Phenomenal work and a really friendly crew.

Competitive pricing and a great job done by Jorge’s Crew. I had an inspection performed, new SS chase installed, and some new firebox panels put in. Couldn’t have been more pleased.

The Safe Fire Chimney & Fireplace Services Corp team came out to inspect and clean my fireplace. Brian was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me very clearly. Quick, clean, and I will be reaching out to them again in the future.

Jorge and his crew just finished restoring the chimney on my ranch home in Elgin. I have to say that the work is nothing short of Superior! Jorge's credited professional knowledge of chimneys was clearly displayed in his high work ethic. Honesty, reasonable pricing, craftsmanship along with a good warranty, have made this customer very satisfied. If anyone is looking to have a chimney repaired/restored, I highly recommend contacting Safe Fire Chimney & Fireplace Services.

The communication with this company is incredible. They have all of the certifications and communicated with me throughout the entire process. They explained every thing they were doing and answered all of my questions. Their price was very reasonable.

I could not be more happy with the work the team from Safe Fire Chimney & Fireplace Services Corp. completed on our house. They were responsive, great with communication and the final product sits like a piece of fine jewelry on top of our house!

Jorge and his team always do a fantastic job at cleaning the chimney and ensuring everything is in working condition. The pricing is fair and transparent and the team does a great job documenting everything with photos. I highly recommend hiring them for any fireplace work!

Jorge and his crew did a great job for a fair price. His crew was friendly and worked hard to finish on time. Left workspace super clean. Enjoying my fireplace now that it is safe!

Jorge and his team were great. They were super thorough in the inspection to find all the possible issue we were having with mold inside our house due to the chimney. They resealed the entire outside of the chimney/siding, as well as the top of the chimney, and sprayed a water barrier (we're having an issue with too much moisture). Highly recommend!

Jorge and his crew did an amazing job repairing my chimney at a great value. He is a master craftsman at his work.
I would use Safe Fire Chimney & Fireplaces Services Corp without a doubt and recommend them to all my friends.
See some before and after pictures.

Jorge and the crew at Safe Fire are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, professional, honest, and explain things very well. They do an amazing job with inspections and repair. I cannot recommend them enough!

Absolutely a top notch company. Kept me well informed and explained everything regarding my fireplace. I didn’t price shop them because I value quality over price. They didn’t try to pressure me, just explained what was needed to make my fireplace safe again.
Thanks

I highly recommend Safe Fire for chimney/flue related needs. We have a wood burning fireplace (through a flue as opposed to brick), so we called Safe Fire out to replace the liner & chimney cap during the course of a re-roofing project. They also replaced the furnace flue for us. Jorge & Brayan were great to work with, they were very responsive, communicated very effectively, and did everything they said they were going to do. It's hard to find good quality contractors to service residential end users these days. I didn't like the manufacturer's finish on the chimney surrounds, so Safe Fire painted them after installation was complete and the result was fantastic. Great guys, Great Company!

Great experience! Jorge kept me posted on his ETA and was thorough, kind and knowledgeable. It’s apparent that he is passionate about fireplaces and chimneys, and has had years of experience with them. He patiently explained to me how a fireplace works and gave me great tips. I highly recommend them!

I’m quite late on this review, but better late than never. We bought a house at the end of June where the previous owners for almost 20 years never used the fireplace nor maintained it. We knew we had a ton of work to get back in working order. My wife and I completed a lot of research for a vendor and asked around on who to use for the pending work. Let’s just say I’m glad we picked Jorge and his crew. They made it easy to understand all the “why’s”, seamless process, prompt, and attention to detail. After the initial survey, they were onsite within the week to begin and completed in about 3 days. The transformation of the fireplace was quite something. While there are still some minor things to complete, and no fault to them, Jorge continues to stay engaged and really wants to provide top level service and quality work. He won’t stop until it’s done right. Thank you Jorge and your team for being the best at what you do.

The guys at Safe Fire & Chimney did an absolutely fabulous job of redoing a 16 year old fireplace that had seen better days!!
Thank you, Jorge!!

Jorge and his crew provided me with cleaning, chimney repair and installed a new gas fireplace. They were outstanding on communication, project managment and taking care of my house including meticulous clean up. I have already referred them to another home and they did a great job there. A great outfit to work with.

Bad service.
