Reviews of local pros in Geneva, Illinois

i had a great experience with mikonomic electrician services. i needed help with a three-way light switch after struggling to fix it myself, and they showed up quickly the next day. elias was very professional, even wearing special shoe covers to keep my floors clean. he also checked my electric panel and found that one of my breakers was too big for my a/c compressor, which explained the loud sound it made when turning on. i'm glad they found the problem and made everything safer.

i've called this team of electricians out several times because my older home has had its fair share of electrical issues. each visit, they arrive right on time and always act professionally. raymond and elias take the time to explain what’s happening with the wiring so i can understand the situation, and they offer helpful ideas that match my needs. recently, they fixed some ceiling lights that weren’t working because of outdated wiring. i mentioned that i didn’t like my current light fixtures, so we came up with a plan to swap them out and add extra outlets—since older houses never seem to have enough. they gave me some great recommendations and quickly got everything working safely. what stands out is how friendly, neat, and respectful they are while working in my home. their good humor really helped make the process less stressful, especially when dealing with tricky electrical problems. i’ll definitely keep calling them for future projects, and i’ve already told several friends about their excellent work. having reliable electricians like this makes home repairs so much easier.

After a DIY electrical project in my kitchen didn't go as planned, I reached out to Mikonomic Electrician Services. Elias was quick to respond and managed to fit me into the schedule on short notice. He was friendly and professional, and he fixed my kitchen switch without any hassle. I plan to call again when it's time to replace all the outlets in my house. Highly recommend to anyone needing reliable electrical services.

a while back, my wife and i decided to do a full remodel of our house. we first reached out to mikonomic electrician services when we ran into an electrical problem. elias showed up quickly and spent a good amount of time up in our attic, which was really hot, tracking down a wire i had accidentally cut while putting up new drywall. since then, we've called again to get our electric panel replaced and to have ceiling fans installed. the service was always friendly and professional. i highly recommend them if you need electrical work.

Elias from Mikonomic Electrician Services came out to my house and replaced an AC disconnect in my backyard. He worked quickly and made sure the job was done right. Elias was very professional and clearly knows his way around electrical work. The service was excellent and I’m very happy with the results. I had to reach out a few times before I got through to schedule the service, but I’m glad I kept trying because the electrical work was top quality. I’ll be recommending them to my friends and family.

Updating my review: From setting up the appointment to finishing the job, Mikonomic Electrician Services made everything easy and stress-free. The team really cares about their customers. Elias did an excellent job, and I can’t recommend their services enough. I’ve used them more than once—first for fixing and replacing an outlet and breaker, and then for installing a new ceiling fan. They’ve definitely become my go-to electricians in Geneva for any electrical work.

Raymond recently installed flood lights at our rental property, and they turned out great! We’ve called on Raymond several times now for electrical work at our home and rentals. He is always dependable and gets the job done right. Very professional, polite, and easy to work with. We plan to keep using him for all our electrician needs and highly recommend his services to others.

Mikonomic Electrician Services did an outstanding job upgrading our electrical panel and service. Elias made sure we understood each step of the process and kept us updated on everything happening along the way. The work was done efficiently and they even took care of cleaning up after themselves. Highly recommend for anyone needing electrical work—great experience all around!

I contacted this team to help with electrical work at my home in Geneva. They have been fantastic so far, handling the rough-in and demo with skill and care. The electricians are professional, friendly, and always follow the proper safety codes. They’ve shown up on time for every appointment, which can be rare these days. Raymond was the electrician who came out. He paid great attention to detail and clearly knows his trade well. He removed all the old wiring from our 200 amp panel, replaced it throughout the house, and installed a brand new 200 amp panel. While the price wasn’t the lowest around, the quality of work made it worthwhile. I’m very happy with their service and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing electrical work in Geneva. Once the inside of the house is finished, I plan to have them back for the final touches.

As an HVAC contractor with 15 years of experience in new construction and remodeling, I’ve worked alongside many different trades. When it comes to electrical work, this team in Geneva really stands out among the best I’ve seen. Raymond and his crew recently helped me tackle a major electrical repair in a house that had a real mess of old wiring—loose wire nuts, wires not in boxes, and plenty of safety concerns. By the time they were finished, everything was properly secured, organized, and fully up to code. The difference from before to after was like night and day. Throughout the entire process, Elias and Raymond kept me updated on every step. I always knew what was happening and never felt out of the loop, which I really appreciated. Their communication made the whole project run smoothly. After the job was complete, I walked through the site to check their work. I couldn’t find a single shortcut or place where they didn’t pay attention to detail. Their dedication to doing quality work really shows. I was given a clear and honest quote at the start, and they explained that prices could change if they ran into surprises inside the walls. Even with a few change orders I asked for, the final price was more than fair for the value and professionalism I received. This company has definitely earned my trust, and I’ll be calling them for all my future electrical needs in Geneva.

after noticing water leaking into my electrical panel during a big storm, i called for an electrician. elias was great to work with—always on time and quick to answer my calls, which i really appreciate when someone is working on my home. he found the issue right away and explained a few different ways to fix it, making sure i understood each option. the pricing was fair and the whole process felt easy. i’ll definitely call them again if i need any more electrical work done.

I usually handle most home repairs myself, but when it comes to electrical issues, I prefer to call in the experts. We had a kitchen outlet that melted, and we wanted to find out what went wrong. After checking reviews, we chose a local electrician here in Geneva, and it turned out to be a great decision. Elias arrived right on time, was very professional, and clearly explained everything that needed to be done. The repairs were finished quickly, and now our kitchen outlets are up to code and safe to use. We’re really happy with the service and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing electrical work.

Elias came out to take a look at some electrical problems I was having, especially with the lights on my ceiling fan not working. He figured out that the issue was with my old fan. Since I already had two new fans with lights ready to go, Elias installed both of them quickly and made sure everything was working perfectly. The whole job was done well and the price was very reasonable. I’ll definitely call on them again for any electrical work I need in the future.

really great service and fair prices. elias came out to install my new ceiling fan in the living room and put up a light fixture in my daughter's bedroom. he was very professional, respectful, and arrived right on time. the electrical work was done perfectly and everything works just the way i wanted. i'm very happy with how it all turned out. if you need any electrical work done in geneva, i highly recommend calling them. you won't be disappointed.

another great job by elias from the electrician team. he quickly found the issue with the underground wiring, came up with a solid plan, and got it all fixed up. after installing the new underground wires, he even put down grass seed where he had to dig. they ran a 240v 20 amp circuit to my irrigation pump, with the control box set up neatly in the crawlspace. conduit was installed in a trench across the yard leading to the disconnect at the pump. everything was done cleanly and worked perfectly. really happy with how professional and friendly elias was. would recommend them to anyone in geneva needing electrical work done.

we've used this company before, so we called them again when we needed a whole house surge protector installed. elias was our electrician and explained two good options for our home's setup. since our place was built quite a while ago, elias also suggested updating the old fuse box to make sure everything ran safely and smoothly, since it hadn't been serviced in years. he finished the fuse box work in just over an hour. after that, elias put in a whole house surge protector for our square d panel, plus another one for our outdoor air conditioner unit. both installations were done even quicker than expected. he also handed us helpful info sheets and warranty documents for all the work. very professional and we are completely satisfied with the service. highly recommend this company and will definitely call them again for any electrical needs.

We are very impressed with the electrical services we received. We recently bought some land and needed to set up a 400 amp service rack, meter, two 200 amp panels, a pole, and two 50 amp RV outlets along with an electric car charger. Elias guided us step by step through the entire process, making everything easy to understand. The team always answered our calls quickly and took care of every request we had. They started the electrical work right away and finished both on schedule and within our budget. The quality of their work was excellent—the wiring inside the panels was neat and well-organized, and all the equipment was installed perfectly straight and secure. Everything was done just as we needed, and the project passed inspection without any problems. If you want reliable, honest, and hardworking electricians, I highly recommend this team!

I had a great experience with Mikonomic Electrician Services. The team was polite and helpful every step of the way. I got a quick call back, easily set up my appointment, and was given a clear price for the work before they started. Elias and Raymond arrived right on time, were very professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. They installed a 30 AMP outdoor outlet for me, and everything works perfectly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing electrical work done.

This isn't even an actual business. The phone number just routes you to some random call center.

Always reliable and responsive to requests. Text confirmations after making an appointment. Never an dilemma with the work.

Rick Muck was fantastic! Professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and hard working. He went above and beyond. I endorse him.
