I felt it was important to share my experience with this company in hopes of helping others avoid the challenges I’ve faced. I didn’t fully realize the impact of this situation until recently. Thankfully, I believe I was guided by a higher power during a time when I felt completely lost. I thought I was purchasing a new HVAC system, but the reality was quite different.

Just a week after installation, issues arose. Multiple technicians came to troubleshoot, but all I wanted was a fully functional new system without any problems. After much back and forth, I insisted that they either take back their equipment and refund me or replace it with a true new unit. When the owner finally came to my house, I was taken aback by his bizarre explanations—blaming my home's temperature on “protons and neutrons” and the lack of blinds. It was perplexing, especially since I’ve owned this home for the past 20 years without ever having HVAC problems.

In the end, while I didn’t receive a new system, I did manage to get a refund, through my credit card company- which was a small consolation. However, three years later, I'm left without heat, and three different companies have told me that the system in my home is still the original—20 years old. The work done by this company was poorly executed.

Looking back, I've learned how easily one can be misled when placing trust in others without fully grasping the situation. I regret allowing someone to bring equipment into my home without verifying the truth behind what I was sold. It’s disappointing to realize that unethical practices exist, and it’s disheartening to see the lack of accountability from the company in their responses to complaints.

If you're considering working with this company due to its appealing low prices, please tread carefully and ensure you truly receive what you're promised. This experience has taught me the importance of asking questions and fully understanding what I'm purchasing. Sometimes, lower prices come with hidden costs. Admit your wrongs. I lived in my house for 17 years, built from the ground up—long before you claimed my lack of blinds in the foyer somehow caused issues. You sound ridiculous. Don’t justify your mistakes; instead, take responsibility and be truthful. I’m sharing my story because others have mentioned that when he or she purchase from you, they often need service the very next week. I know it's because you don’t provide new equipment; you simply try to fix what's already there. Make amends because every dog has its day, and it will come back to bite you.

Just so you know, I have the financial means to handle big purchases on my credit card in case anything goes wrong—I can dispute charges. I pay my card off right away and earn points. In this situation, I wasn’t about to pay for something that never came to fruition. If a brand new system required you to come out three times and still wasn’t fixed, and you refused to provide the new unit I paid for, does that make sense to you? Do better.

Everyone should steer clear of this guy. Look at how he responds to complaints. Run, Run, Run—avoid the Joliet location!

Great service! These guys including the owner was very hands on, and installed in 48 hours after our unit went bad. Followed up on a concern of ours to fix it with no questions asked. Have used them for heating and now cooling. Totally recommend them, and support local businesses in SW suburbs. Great job!

Hire this company immediately, if you need help. Trey's knowledge of his craft, I have not seen for a long time. Reliable, fair, and reasonable. I had a very difficult job and it was done with absolute expertise. Trey and his team worked hard in an attic when the temperatures outside were in the 90's. That's dedication to a customer. I went in the attic several times while they were working, and I dont know how they were able to do this job in that kind of heat. Trey is probably the best company I've ever hired and I'm not young. okay so i usually don’t write reviews but this guy trey really helped me out. my heater broke and it was like 40 degrees outside. i called and they said someone would come in the morning, he showed up right on time.
he looked at everything, told me what was going on, and fixed it in less than an hour. he was really respectful and not pushy at all. didn’t try to upsell or anything. price was decent and now my house is finally warm again. really appreciate it man. will definitely recommend to my friends.

joliet heating & cooling did an amazing job replacing both my upstairs and downstairs ac units. mitchell and the whole team showed up right on time, worked hard until everything was finished, and made sure to clean up before leaving. they really know their stuff and were easy to talk to about my hvac needs. the whole process was quick and professional, and the new units work great. their prices are fair, and they do exactly what they say they will. i’m very happy with their service and would highly recommend them for anyone in joliet needing hvac help!

I had Joliet Heating & Cooling install a 5-zone split heat pump last fall, and it has been working perfectly. I would definitely recommend their services. I needed to relocate the outside unit, and the technician who came to assess the job, Richard, was very knowledgeable. He provided great suggestions that helped save a lot of money. I just had the outside unit moved today from the garage wall to a stand mounted on a poured concrete slab. Now, I can't hear the unit from inside the house at all. This is how it should have been installed initially, and while I had to invest a bit to get it moved, everything turned out great!

I made a call to them from Joliet, and they made the journey the very same day for diagnosis. They examined several less costly components to determine the issue for as few parts as possible. When it was decided that the furnace needed replacing, they set a day and had Miguel show up before the supplies did to hasten the installation once the supplies arrived. They predicted more hours but finished earlier, so it was a win-win situation for everyone. They even rang to follow up and remind me of the warranty in place should anything go wrong.

Luis took the time to examine our furnace, pinpoint the problem, and perform a temporary repair to keep us warm through the weekend. We realized our furnace needed replacement, so we opted to upgrade our system to help decrease allergens in our Joliet home. Luis provided useful suggestions and proceeded to install a new furnace and air conditioner, complete with a HEPPA filter and HVAC UV lights. He was both professional and friendly, and his pricing was reasonable. We would definitely recommend their services!
