Great Service
I called Mike after hearing about him from a neighbor. I had a different neighbor let me know about a leak into her unit. I set up a time for him to come by and take a look. He showed up on time, wore gloves while he worked and was able to confirm the “O” ring needed to be replaced. He was done in under an hour! He then checked to make sure it filled and flushed properly. I highly recommend.

Mike is an honest, caring, and incredibly professional plumber. He took his time to explain everything he was doing. We bought a new home and instantly had some major sewage draining issues undisclosed to us. He came out immediately and diagnosed the issue. His work is flawless and he’s priced fair and honest. Use Mike if you want quick and professional serice from a fair an honest plumber.

I called Mike for a bathroom emergency. He stopped by as soon as he had time and fixed my problem. He did a great job. 2 weeks later I had a problem with my faucet in my kitchen and he came the next evening and did a fantastic job. I am thankful I found Mike because it's hard to find plumbers who do smaller emergency jobs at condos.

Unfortunately, this businessman is very selective with his work and very expensive. After the first time he came out to my home which was for an emergency pipe repair in the middle of the night, I called him again to come to my home and give me an estimate and explanation for water collecting around the bottom of my toilet. One he was done inspecting and had told us how much he was going to charge, I told him that my husband and I would have to discuss the issue as his estimate was a lot of money and we were not prepared to make that kind of financial commitment at the time. A couple weeks later, my husband and I found ourselves in another emergency situation as our main sewer line had collapsed and was causing sewage water to back up into our bathtub. He answered the phone and responded that he could not help us at that time and was busy working on another project. I found another company, figured out a way to cover my expenses and did not press the issue. We again had other projects that we needed done after that so I reached out to Mike via text several times. He never had the decency to respond. This to me is extremely poor customer service and a man that is too greedy to take care of his customers. Shame. We had over $8000 worth of plumbing work done. Be cautious with this plumber as he does not take care of his customers.

While fixing a sink ourselves, our main water valve got stuck in the off position on a Saturday. (The knob would turn but it wouldn't open the valve and release water into our house.) Mike first tried to troubleshoot for us over the phone for free, and even offered to video chat to walk us through the fix ourselves. We were nervous we'd break the valve ourselves and end up with a mess, so we braced ourselves to wait until Monday (with no water) for his team to come out. A couple hours later he called me back and said he could fix it for me today, on a Saturday evening. He came in, found that the repair was even easier than he anticipated, and only asked for a fraction of what he quoted us. He came through for us in an emergency on a Saturday, did honest work, and requested an honest price. We're so lucky we found him and are saving his number for future needs. Thank you, Mike!!!

Mikes Plumbing Company is wonderful! Professional, honest , prompt, reliable, with great prices. Woke up last Saturday morning to find water all over the hard wood floor of my condo. It was pouring out from under my kitchen sink. Called the condo management and asked if they could give me a plumber they used. Called the plumbing company telling them it was an emergency, and they never even called me back. I then got Mikes Plumbing Company from someone else. When I called, Mike personally answered the phone and when I told him it was an emergency he came over immediately. I was amazed by how fast he got there! He assessed the situation and completely turned the water off. He then went out and bought a new faucet so he could fix the leak. I was so impressed by how kind he was. I was a basket case and he reassured me that everything would be fine. His kindness, caring and professionalism were outstanding! He did a great job and even cleaned everything up! Mikes's Plumbing company is amazing! I can't say enough good things about this company. I will always use them in the future.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mike or call him for another issue. I called Mike about our bathtub (we live in an older condo building), which suddenly wouldn’t drain and had standing water. I couldn’t find another plumber to come out within the day, but Mike didn’t hesitate - he actually got to us within an hour or two. He fixed a tough clog, and talked me through why it happened and what we could expect in the future. A month later, the tub is still draining perfectly.

I don't understand how anyone can give Mike's Plumbing a negative review; I just had Mike's Plumbing do a big drainage job at my house and it was a great experience. Mike provided a long lasting solution, not just a quick fix; Mike was very nice and respectful throughout the process, explaining his thinking in a very thorough and logical manner, and his price was very fair; Mike and his team also have a very strong work ethic; Mike is smart, affordable, quality, and hard working; I highly recommend Mike's Plumbing for all your plumbing and drainage needs; you will not be disappointed; trust Mike and trust his process; he is a professional plumber, you and I are not.

We've used Mike for several different issues, both for our unit and for our condo building, and Mike has always been quick, professional, and reasonable priced. Most recently, we had a gas leak in our unit so we had to have all of our lines repaired. We got three quotes from plumbers: Mike's quote was the cheapest and he was the only who could fix the problem right away, which he did. Win-win-win.

I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I have to this time since Mike's never even bothered responding to the following:

I called Mike's Plumbing to unclog a drain pipe. The plumber showed up and determined there was not a clog in the pipe without even checking the actual pipe.

He stated the issue was the AC unit was pooling water due to a bad coil. I asked him if he could send a camera down the pipe just to be sure, but the plumber insisted it was the AC unit. This ended up costing $165 for the visit and diagnosis.

So on the plumber's advice, we called an AC tech, who came out and checked the unit. It was not pooling water and there wasn't anything wrong with it. Unlike Mike's Plumbing, he at least cut the pipe to check it, and water immediately began pouring out. The AC guy was not able to unclog the pipe and said we'd need a plumber. Charge for his visit was $89.

We got a plumber from a different company (2 Plumbers) to come out since Mike's didn't do anything the first time but charge us nearly $200 for a misdiagnosis. 2 Plumbers determined the drain pipe was clogged. They used a riding machine to rod the pipe and open the line. Then they refit the pipe.

I emailed Mike's to ask for a full or partial refund of the $165 for the initial visit since they misdiagnosed the issue. Again, by not checking the pipe at all and suggesting we needed an AC person, we were not only out $165, but then an additional $89 for an AC/heat tech who wasn't needed, then the second plumber visit.

2 Plumbers arrived and fixed the issue in half an hour. I understand people make mistakes, but this negative review is due to the lack ANY kind of response from Mike's when I emailed them with my complaint.

Mike’s done a fair amount of work for us now, and he comes out as soon as he can when we have a problem. He proposes work conservatively and offers options to go further but doesn’t push them.

Among what he’s done for us- he spent an Easter weekend excavating our front lawn for an emergency service line replacement, setup a new forced-exhaust water heater for us, and replaced an old drum trap with a P-trap along with a rusting-out drainpipe. We’re happy with all the work he’s done.

Mike fixed our flood control and was very honest about the work involved and his pricing was very fair. He takes pride in his work and goes to great lengths to make sure that we understood what he was doing. He is a great neighborhood plumber who is highly experienced and knowledgeable. Highly recommended for all plumbing needs.

I had an emergency water backup in kitchen sink. I was put in touch with Mike. He was extremely responsive and arrived the next morning. While discussing the problem, the water started to overflow into floor, which he heard was happening before we even saw it.
He acted so quickly to avoid a catastrophe!
He thoroughly assessed the problem in the building and effectively drained and cleaned out the system .
Not only would I use him again but I'd recommend him to my friends and family!

We needed an emergency visit—noticed sewer water backing up into the basement today. I tried a few other companies—including both my usual plumber and our flood control system company—but no one else was available immediately.

I called Mike after seeing the other positive online reviews and I’m so glad I did! He was here within 15 minutes(!) and took care of the issue quickly and for as fair a price as the job could be done.

I have already saved his number and information and he will be my go-to guy for future plumbing issues.

Mike came in on Sunday afternoon for an emergency repair. He arrived at the location within 20 minutes. Thanks to his expertise, our problem got resolved the same day. I will recommend their team in the future.

Mike is awesome. My kitchen drain failed and within 40 min of calling him he came out to my house to see the issue. This was at like 7pm at night as well. The whole drain pipe needed to be replaced all the way down to my basement. Mike came out at 8am the next morning with another guy and both of them worked hard for a good 4-5 hours and installed a brand new drain. It was a big job. Mike is priced very fair in my opinion as well. The quality of the work is top notch. I highly recommend Mike's Plumbing.

Competent, punctual, excellent workmanship, and honest!
We hired Mike to replace our old water heater and upgrade our plumbing lines for our home. He provided us with great information on what to tackle first and came well prepared for the job. He is honest, performs quality work and is extremely responsive. I would highly recommend him and his services!

Mike and his crew were extremely professional, responsible, on time and did an OUTSTANDING job for me. His company is licensed and he knows what the proper codes and permits require to pass village inspections. My job was extremely complicated and Mike and his team worked with the Village to ensure it was done right. I would trust him to do any job from small to commercial and want you to know that he is completely trustworthy and honest. His prices are fair as well.

Mike & Tom are very responsive and knowledgeable. Called to get quote to clean my catch basin, showed up within 30 minutes, gave a very reasonable price, started right away and got done in an hour only. Cleaned up and caulked the cover. Highly recommended.

I can't recommend Mike highly enough! He was prompt, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issue and had everything fixed in no time, all while keeping things neat and tidy. Communication was great throughout the whole process, and the pricing was fair and transparent.
