I used Jim Dahmer plumbing twice recently for two separate drain issues based off of proximity and seeing their vans on the road. Each time the issues were resolved in a professional, efficient, and honest manner (extremely honest pricing!). I was told up front the cost both times and the second separate issue it was even less than what I was originally told because he didn't need to rod the drain and I was a returning customer which turned out earned a small discount. Again--very honest!! I don't foresee any further issues with either drain but they also offer a 30 day guarantee of their work which is added peace of mind. The first time I used Jim Dahmer Plumbing my service mans name was Bob. The second time the service mens names were Tom and Nate. They all give tradesmen a good name! Thank you Jim Dahmer Plumbing! I would recommend to all friends and family in the area and they will be my go to if I ever have plumbing issues in the future. God bless and Merry Christmas!
I called Dhamer Plumbing because of a somewhat urgent problem with drainage from a bathroom sink. Tom and Nate came that same day, did an excellent job fixing the sink and replacing a short section of the drainage pipe, and also fixed two other long-standing problems. Tom was very informative and explained everything about what they were doing. Charges were totally reasonable. I strongly recommend them.
Our garbage disposal was clogged and caused a back up water in our dishwasher and sinks. I called first thing in the morning and they got somebody out by 1:00 pm that day. TJ and Tommy were fantastic! Hard working, so very nice and thorough!! We have use this company in the past and have always been very pleased. I would highly recommend them! Thank you for your promptness in getting our problem resolved!
I had a rotten egg smell from my water heater. Tom from Jim Dhamer installed a Corro-Protec anode rod and the smell cleared up in 1-2 days. They squeezed me in their schedule and were very professional, courteous and friendly. The workmanship was superb and the price was very reasonable. Once again I am very pleased with Jim Dhamer plumbing and would highly recommend them. Thanks !
I can’t say much about the plumbers. They seem to know their stuff but that would be expected. My issue is toward the person (s) who answer the phone. I find her short and put out out when I call. Everytime (which has not been a lot, 3 times in 2 years) she can't make the appointment right away b/c she needs to call dispatch and check the schedule. I spoke with her over a week ago, got the same spiel that she would need to call dispatch and she never called me back. It would be impossible to contact them for any kind of quick response. I had a leak that could lead to water in our basement this last time.
I had 2 small repairs that most plumbers could have fixed, but I'm giving them 5 stars because of their professionalism. John and Payton were friendly, polite, and after explaining their first hour flat fee and finishing my repairs in under 30 minutes, they asked what else needed fixing. They also continued asking me the questions and giving me the updates even after my boyfriend appeared. Seems like a small thing until you've had the opposite happen. I will definitely call them for future plumbing issues.
