Reviews of local pros in Lockport, Illinois

We have been using M & N Landscaping for several years and they are really great to work with.

Ten years ago we had Art and his team design and install a new paver patio. They were very easy to work with and really listened to our wishes for how the patio would become a central part of our back yard. We have had no problems whatsoever with the pavers. Of course, the patio requires occasional service of cleaning and sealing. We asked M & N to come out this year to perform the cleaning, filling and sealing. We had 2 other contractors prepare proposals and each stated their amazement that the patio was 10 years old - without any settling or need to repair any portion of it. But, we chose to have M & N take care of it. Thanks Art!

Art managed to beautifully transform the landscaping surrounding our one-acre property, after a long period of neglect. He is responsive, reasonably priced and incredibly experienced; his professional, hard-working team truly worked miracles for us. I've also appreciated the detailed proposals I received through the process, which gave me options within my budget. It's been a pleasure doing business with M&N Maintenance!

We have used M&N for many years. We have them do our weekly mowing, aeration, fertilization and many different landscaping projects. They do great work and I highly recommend them. Art and Jannette are fantastic to work with. Many of my neighbors now use them as well.

We have been clients of M&N Maintenance for nearly 20 years with our first home #1 and current dream home #2. Art and Jannette have performed various seasonal landscaping and maintenance services such as weekly lawn care, fall aeration, fall/spring fertilization, yard bed clean up, mulching, planting and trimming trees and shrubs around our property. They also designed and installed a large Uni-Lock patio and gazebo we enjoy every summer. Finally, more recently, they clear our snow from our driveway and walkways.

Art and Jannette operate their family owned landscaping business honestly, professionally and work hard to keep our lawn and yard looking great all spring and summer.

Drivers are very unsafe. Ran me off the road by changing lanes without looking.

Great job. Full service. Very professional. Completed in a timely manner. Great price

Always get compliments on my landscaping!
Professional and very affordable with high-quality work. Thank you!

Grate service and very detailed work ethic. All the crews are knowledgeable.

Poor experience, unreliable, does not complete the job. ASKS for cash in advance for materials. DO not give cash. HE never finished a job that was started a year ago in November. Very unhappy customer.

Bob was incredibly rude, DO NOT GIVE CASH!!!!
He ask for cash in advance for materials. He didn't give me a contract. He ignores my phone calls...will never do business again. PLS BEWARE!

Stellar service! Fast, efficient, and fair pricing. Will definitely use again.

I got a brick patio done I was very happy with the outcome. It was done at a reasonable price I'm definitely within 5 days which was what did my expectations.

I have been using them for the past 7 years! They have always done a great job and very dependable! Highly recommend!

Bob did an excellent job and took the time to go around and work with me for the best results. The patio, bar area, fire pit, and grill came out great. The detail border was a plus to the main patio. Bob also continues to come by and check on the landscaping afterwards bringing recommendations to keep it looking fresh.

Great service and dedication to getting the job done. All workers were kind and hard working! Even the owner stopped by to double check the job to make sure it was done with integrity! Will use them again and again!

This is a great company to do business with. Reasonable prices and an owner (Bob) who cares about your job and is always in communication with you.

Great job, great pricing, great communication. The yard now with the new brick paver sitting area looks amazing. My wife and I will happily use Bob on all our future outdoor projects. Thanks for the great job Bob.

Bob and his crew did an excellent job on my home. Bob came up with various creative ideas and was an excellent consultant when it came to the design and layout of our landscaping project. Our project was completed on time and Bob and his crew are very proffesional and a plesaure to work with. We will definetly be using Excellence Landscaping for our future landscaping projects. Thank You Bob and Excellence Landscaping.

Was hoping we found a diamond in the rough after reading reviews and looking at photos of recent work done. Was told they would be out the next day, and text before they came. No call, no show. I understand jobs run long but every customer should be treated with common courtesy. Moving on.

Bob and his crew were very friendly and professional. They did a great job on our landscaping and gave us some great tips on the kind of plants that would be best for our property. We’re very pleased with the outcome and would definitely recommend their services.
