Reviews of local pros in Lockport, Illinois

Bob is unreliable ! He took all the money in advance and never finished work after eight months from the start. He didn't give me a contract. He ignores my phone calls and messages. Poor experience, botcher. He took my wheelbarrow without permission and destroyed it. During his work he also destroyed my new stamped concrete. I'm very disappointed. NOT RECOMMENDED !

It is one thing to call your business “Excellence Landscaping” and another to live up to that title. Bob and his team absolutely do - we were in dire need of turf repair and drainage after some prior construction work had left our back yard looking like a mud pit. Bob came out promptly, gave us a fair quote and re-arranged his schedule to get us set up ahead of some bad weather that would’ve made our existing issues worse. Bob was on site and communicated with us throughout the process and we were very happy with the end result, and will definitely be looking to hire his team on the future!

Bob and his team are truly amazing. I have been working with them now for nearly two years. He understands his customers and what they need. He won't try to oversell you and he'll find ways to make what you want achievable. Highly recommend.

We called Bob to come out and give us a quote on a project in our yard. We were looking to clean up some existing beds, remove mulch and replace with rock, As well as reconfigure some shrubs and remove a tree or two. Bob came out and was fantastic from the get go. He Offered us several solutions, some of which were most definitely cheaper than what we were thinking and turned out to be even better than we could have imagined. His expertise and vision was evident.

****Bob was always in touch with us and communicated everything he was going to do and when he was going to do it. I have used several landscaping companies over the past 12 years and I just haven’t seen this sort of responsiveness from anyone else….Bob and his crew came out when they said they would be out and did exactly what they said they would do. We couldn’t have been happier with this overall experience!!

We will be calling on Bob and Excellence for our future projects for sure!

Bob did a great job. The retaining walls have a great clean look. The job was done professionally

GM Landscaping is truly outstanding! This company has been taking care of our landscaping needs for the past 5 years. They always do a very professional job. They are always on time, arriving promptly on their scheduled day, doing a wonderful job, & leaving the property in tip-top shape! I would highly recommend GM Landscaping for all your Landscaping needs!

GM Landscaping does a fabulous job cutting our lawn. They collect the grass clippings and are considerate of our property. They always clean up by blowing any clippings on our patio, sidewalk and driveway into the grass. We have also used them for mulch, and they do a beautiful job. I highly recommend GM landscaping.

mowing at 630 AM...really?? and they never do edging, or blow off the flat surfaces or clean up there wet grassy tire tracks. horrible!

Great firm. We put in a pool and they did a spectacular job on the landscaping and brickwork and patio. They did so well we signed them up for maintenance as well.

Great company to do business with. They have a quick turn around on estimates and executing projects. We will continue to use them for all our future projects.
