Nightmare experience with Davey Tree. Arranged to have a tree planted in October of last year. Planted on 10/26, really sloppy job and they did not top off with mulch and topsoil as requested. More importantly it appeared the root ball was not completely planted below the soil line. Contacted the Supervisor of the crew and came out to inspect on 10/31. Said it was too late in the season to fix it so they'll follow-up in the Spring. Beginning of April we contact the office to find out when they will remedy the problem. Took several more calls before a crew showed up on 6/13. When they chipped away at the mound of dirt it exposed a substantial portion of the root ball was indeed above ground. Requested the Supervisor come to inspect that day. Told he would after 2:00 appt. He was a no show. Called the office at 4:00 and was told he would call by day's end. He didn't. Totally fed up with the delays and the disregard for the client, I offered three choices. Repair, replace or refund. They opted to refund but deducted $300 for the cost of the tree . Tried escalating the issue to Senior Management and not surprisingly got no response from them either. A total clownshow. These folks could conduct a Masters program on how to disrespect a client.

Crew showed up timely and quickly and safely removed a huge old Oak tree in a very tight space. Real professionals.

If you expect to get a return call, you might want to try another company. Two months ago I would have give a 5-start rating, but it has been a month and I can't get a response from apparently the only person in this area that we can speak to about service.

Sam with Davey tree is fantastic! We had tree removal of an old pine, stump grinding, and pruning completed for 2 siberian elms. He managed our project professionally, efficiently, and with regular communication as it required 2 trips for him to come and see the trees in question, and 3 trips for the team to complete removal. They were knowledgeable, and worth every penny!

What a wonderful experience working with Davey Tree. I sent them a note about my stressed pear tree. Someone called back within the hour. Kyle came out the next day and was amazingly knowledge. He knew exactly what was wrong with the pear tree as well as with my river birch. He offered options without any pressure to sell. He provided a proposal with very reasonable options. Most impressed with the professional service and the affordable solutions. Highly recommended.

Tree trimming crew and the guy that did the tree fertilization did a good job. Arborist canceled me out at last minute to do do another job and never let me know they we're coming on the day the trimmers showed up.

We use Davey for all of our tree care. They cut our white pine down for a very fair price and we use them in the spring to spray our pine trees. Couldn't be happier.
