This company was hired by nipsco to cut branches from the power lines. They were in my yard when I got home from work dragging branches over my backyard solar lights. Knocking the solar panels over. I did not say they could come in my yard. They were asking me to move my truck so they could drive there huge boom truck in my yard. I did not move it. They were outside my house for hours listening to loud music sitting under trees. Then they rang my doorbell repeatedly while we were sleeping because we work 3rd shift. I did not answer I did not invite them here I didn't want them in my yard. Unprofessional.

We couldn’t be happier with the services performed. The Arborist- Nick Saba was so kind, professional, and knowledgeable in helping us save our mature trees. We highly recommend Nick and Davy Tree service.

We are very disappointed with Davey tree. We had purchased two trees from them with a cost of $2500. After the first season the one tree only had a couple blooms, so we contacted Bill Mareno And he told us give it another year “I’ll take care of it.”Well guess what the next year came and we got zero blooms, and when we purchased the tree Bill said oh you’ll get a lot of flowering in this spot. And Bill did not take care of it. He also sold us the tri-colored beechnut which is supposed to turn a beautiful pink on the leaves in the spring, it did not do that either. Their final response to us was well we can’t guarantee flowers and color the trees are alive! So a little word to the wise Do not trust Bill Mareno he does not stand behind his product and his word means nothing.

Guy at work had some trees cut down by Davey's and said it was good price. I saw they were out of Mokena, so I called and they were out 5 days later and took down two 35 foot apple trees. They were FULL of apples, and I mean full. They took down both trees and ground up the stumps. Then they raked all the apples and shoveled them on the back of a dump truck, really didn't expect that. Way beyond my expectation of what I thought they would do. All for a great price, and I shopped around. Thank you very much Davey's Tree Service. Would and will highly recommend you.👍👏🇺🇸

I use Davey tree to keep all of my trees and shrubs healthy. They fertilize annually and also treat my birch to prevent beetles. Any time I notice anything that looks wrong with my trees they come out right away and let me know what it is and if I need to worry about it. They give me great advice and never try to sell me on something I don’t need.

Davey takes good care of all my trees throughout the year. This year, my ailing serviceberry tree came down in a storm. Davey removed it, then removed the stump and planted a new serviceberry in the same place. All done very professionally by polite crew.

David Taylor is truly an expert in his field. One of the few Board Certified Arborists in the State, his knowledge is second to none. Arborists and and landscapers are apples and oranges when it comes to tree care so do not rule them out if their price is a little high. I found their prices very competitive considering their superior knowledge and recommended treatment plans. The difference in price you pay will far outweigh itself over the years. You will be glad you had to pay a little more now to enjoy your trees for years to come. In addition to superior knowledge, Dave is super customer friendly and focused. I highly recommend Dave and his team.

Wanted to share what “great work” Brian(plant technician) recently did while fertilizing the numerous trees, evergreens and bushes throughout our yard! He was professional, diligent and very thorough with his fertilization treatments on our trees. Our evergreens and trees have never looked better. Thanks to Brian for a job “Well Done”! The 3 Davey workmen on my job were some of the most highly trained people I have ever seen. They performed each step of their work, from chocking the chipper wheels, setting out safety cones and warning signs, checking safety chains and tail light cables, checking door latches, wearing all their safety gear and walking the site checking their work order, with deliberate care. The quality of their finished work and clean up on our property was outstanding and rare these days. Thank You Davey!!!

Dean Pearson is a total asset helping us maintain our property! Maggie in their office is efficient and most helpful. Their polite well trained team shows up on site completing their work and leaving the site as good or better when they arrived. Wonderful organization with which to work. HIGHLY recommended!!!

We hired Davey Tree and used them for maybe 5 years or so. It seemed that every year we were told that another tree or bush needed help or it wouldn't survive. At first we believed them and kept adding on additional services. It was really getting expensive. Finally the guy told us that our beautiful huge hedge of bushes was infected with some sort of insect and if we didn't spray them with an insecticide (which of course they could do for us) that it would die by the next spring. By then we were suspicious and decided to take a chance and not do the insecticide application he was encouraging us to add to their services. That was 3 years ago... our bushes are totally fine, in fact they are thriving. And the other trees that we were told were "not happy" , well our new arborist told us they were just fine and they are thriving too. We paid soooo much money for services we just didn't need from Davey. We definitely believe the arborist from Davey ripped us off. We will never use them again.

Firstly, my salesman Marcus has been swift to respond to questions and getting me an estimate. Second, they're experienced but open to suggestions . Third, the wait is not too long and the crew works fast, efficiently and doesn't slack off. Fourth, they clean up their mess!! I also like it that the bill you and don't demand immediate payment!!

This is for Davey company with regards to the services done at 9253 April Lane, Mokena Illinois. The crew did an excellent job and clean up was great. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to keep their trees and shrubs healthy.

What an exceptional company with exceptional employees. They have serviced our trees and bushes for several years. We had a 30 year old sugar maple that just wasn't doing well. Marcus came out, took care of the problem and it has responded unbelievably. Our crab apples have been sprayed and fertilized for the past several years and again they are responding unbelievably. The most beautiful crab apples in the neighborhood. We had some privacy bushes that had beetles destroying them. With just one season of Davey Tree, spraying and fertilizing, they have taken off and provided the privacy we were looking for. We get compliments all Spring, Summer and Fall on our beautiful landscaping and it would not have happened without Davey.

Both Marcus Parker, and Kevin, the tech were top notch. Both were knowledgeable and professional.

They are competitively priced, professional, prompt, communicate well, do an excellent job of trimming, pruning and tree removal, and clean up after themselves. I am very glad that I used them for a recent large job and will definitely continue using them. I've used them for tree and shrub pest control for years and they've always done a good job. If I ever have a concern, they address it right away. Our arborist Dean is excellent and very responsive to any issues and concerns. Toni in the office is great at handling my contracts and invoices, and Jose went over and above on the recent tree removal and pruning project. All of them are very approachable and wonderful to work with.

We are just starting service with Davey, but we can already see a difference in the care of our trees and shrubs when compared to other services we have used.
