I hired John's Pro Tree Service based off a referral from my father-in-law who used them to remove trees on his property and thought they did a wonderful job. I can truly say John was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I called to get an estimate and he was at my home within the hour and offered a great price. I had 5 trees removed from the front, side, and back of my home. He even had his crew ground down a stump from a company that removed a tree a few years prior however never finished the job. John and his crew were very professional and the work was done quickly and to my satisfaction. I have been recommending them to neighbors as their work was great. They do great work and get the job done!

Extremely fair pricing, able to schedule quickly, and the crew was great. The sales rep, Sebastian, and the crew were all nice guys and easy to deal with. Did good work at a reasonable price.

Had a large tree removed and two other larger trees trimmed. I am beyond impressed with the crew that showed up. Timely, respectful, incredibly professional. They were here all day and even cleaned up everything before they left. Best tree service company around. I wouldn’t ever think of calling elsewhere for future needs.

Pro Tree Service was recommended to me by a friend who had 4 trees removed from his new property. I called to get a quote on getting a large maple removed from my back yard that was in the way for installing a fence for our new pup. John came out and gave us a quote that was extremely fair and we decided to go with them over the other quotes we had received. Within 3 days of receiving his quote (one of them being a Sunday) his crew was here and had the tree down quickly. His crew was very professional and polite, they also did an excellent job cleaning up the yard after the removal. I would highly recommend this company!

I was given two bids to remove trees and decided on the first bid, which was $500 less. However, I mistakenly paid Pro Tree $500 too much.
Even after talking to the owner, my overpayment was not returned.
A very disheartening experience that speaks to the owner’s/company’s integrity.

John’s Pro Tree Service is the best Tree service. They removed all left debris from the tree logs & made sure to carefully bring down the trees as they cut them down. They made sure the job was not done in a rushed manner so it doesn’t look messy. Want to give props to Julian their clamp operator for not leaving a single log/stick behind after the chunks of tree logs were set down. Will gladly recommend this tree service company to my family & friends! Keep up the great team work!

I had 3 trees and 5-6 bushes removed. I got a quote from another tree company(won't say their name) and pro tree was well under what that other quote was. Sebastian was attentive and quick to reply. The crew that cut the trees and bushes were quick and even cleaned up the loose branches. The crew that came for the grinding of the stumps did a great job as well. They was no tracks or markings in the rest of the grass and they got rid of more roots than I thought they would be able to. Would definitely recommend.

John's Pro Tree Service did a fantastic job taking down a very large Poplar tree for us. The crew was very professional and efficient and cleaned everything to perfection. They knew what they were doing and worked very well as a team to remove my beloved Poplar and taking care not to damage any property. I even asked them if they would cut me a small piece of the tree that I could save and create something from and they gave me 2 beautiful pieces of trunk. They were highly recommended by my city and neighbors who have used them many times. Lastly, their prices were extremely affordable, less than the others. Nice and professional people at a fantastic price. SO glad we discovered them!

I called because the guys truck was pouring smoke and the owner called me back and honestly didn't even want the plate number or anything. His company is also on google as pro tree service but that's not what the truck says. Seems fishy that when looking up the company nothing lines up🤔 either way I contacted IDOT and reported them and the BBB

The work performed was good. Where I had the issue with how I rated them is based on the scheduling process. When I decided to go with Pro Tree Service for my job "Tony" the estimator kept trying to put me on a schedule that wouldn't work. They finally got me on the schedule I wanted based when I knew I would be home. But I got an alert from the door bell camera, and it was his crew cutting down my tree the Friday before our agreed upon time. Which was 5 days, and I received no call saying I was being rescheduled. I know they are professionals, and there probably wouldn't be a problem, but I do not like people on my property if there isn't anyone at home. My estimate included having the stump ground down. My wife called the office that day asking about the stump not being ground, and they said there would be someone out the next day, but no one has shown up. I sent "Tony" a message him about when we should expect someone, but it has been 2 days, and my message or call has yet to be returned at the time of writing this review. The work they do is good, but the customer service experience is less than desired.

Terrible customer service. They ignored my first 3 calls. Then gave me the go-away price for a single tree removal.

If you have small work, don't bring it to them. They don't want it.

The customer service was friendly and warm. They worked effectively and efficiently. The ProTree team worked until the job was done. They were skilled and observed all safety measures. The ProTree team completed the job on time at a fair price.

I hired this company to trim a large tree, they did an excellent job ,hauled all branches away.raked up yard. Crew was great I highly recommend this company. Thanks Geraldo. And Brandon

This review is going to be very straightforward when I say from start to finish the entire process was very timely and each step of the process was smooth and efficient!
John Eduardo and all the other crews, each one had extreme customer service and respect for safety and the person's home and yard.
I have a few smaller trees that have need to be needing taken care of, not a right now project but I'm definitely having them come back ❣️ !!!

I called for an estimate and Geraldo was at my door 30mns later. Then it took me two weeks to get in touch with someone again as my calls were not returned. The crew showed up unexpected that same day telling me they would cut my tree after their lunch break... which happened to last for two hours as they took a nap on my grass under the shade of my front tree!! Then everything went very fast, and my tree was down in less than a hour. In the hurry of the action, they damaged some perennials, my deck railing and my downspouts. I sent an email + text with pictures to complain. Again no return until John called me asking for payment. I told him I would not pay anything until the damages his crew did to my downspouts would be taken care of (I did take care of painting my railing and planting my perennials back myself). Geraldo dropped by again and offered a discount to cover the damages which is a good thing, but let me take care of the repairs instead of handling the situation himself as I would have expected.

Great company and a great crew. All the employees very friendly and polite. Did a amazing job taking down my 2 maple trees . Blew the debris off roof and left yard very clean. The price was great. Definitely using them again and already told my neighbors and coworkers this is the company to use.

Tree branch fell on our home at 1 AM. John’s pro tree service took my call at 6:15 AM and assured me that they would have someone there before noon. (they actually came at 9 o’clock.) very pleased with their prompt service and also that I could send pictures so they could correctly evaluate and estimate a cost in a timely fashion. At the time I was not sure of the full extent of damage to my roof, and their prompt and professional reply took the tension way down.

I want to thank John for coming out and checking all our trees. The workers were very professional, and did a wonderful job cleaning up when they were done. We had at least 3 neighbors come over asking for their card. Thank you so much !!!

Awesome service!! Extremely fair pricing. Very respectful crew. Went above and beyond to take down our two large maple trees. They carefully removed our dog fence and put it back up perfectly. They even took time after to blow the dust off our deck. Would definitely recommend!!
