Storm Guard was an excellent company to work with from start to finish. Christopher inspected my roof and siding, etc. for hail damage due to having two separate hailstorms in our area. He was very thorough and documented the numerous areas where damage was evident, even on my garage door. He showed me the pictures he took of the damage and explained everything in very understandable detail. He even met with my insurance adjuster to make sure he saw the same damage. My new roof was installed in one day very efficiently by a crew who also cleaned up after themselves and the garage door is coming tomorrow. I can’t say enough about how wonderful Christopher has been in handling this job! He has checked in with me regularly to make sure all has been scheduled and done and that I am happy with everything. He is, without a doubt, an asset to Storm Guard! He has been nothing, but professional, helpful and efficient throughout this whole process providing amazing customer service! From start to finish it proved to be a good experience. While you never want water coming into your home office storm guard did an amazing job. They worked with my insurance company. Obtained the needed permits from the village. They had the entire roof torn off and replaced in one day. Everything was cleaned up meticulously afterwards and my bushes around the house had no damage. Overall a great experience

They did a great job first of all in giving a detailed evaluation of the amount of damage to my roof with photos and drone pictures. Chris was very thorough in explaining our options and how the process would work. They then took the lead with our insurance company and ultimately got them to cover all the cost of total roof replacement that clearly needed to be done even when we had an adjuster that was unreasonable. The whole process with the insurance company took longer than expected, and rolled into winter when the weather was too cold to install shingles, but Jon, the construction manager kept in regular communications with me until we found a day that would work. The work was done in one day and the completed job was great! I would definitely recommend Storm Guard to anyone who needs roof, guttering, or skylight work done!

I had a tricky water runoff problem on my roof around my chimney. Chris Nenoff did a great job diagnosing the problem and the crew did a great job getting it fixed.

Roof and skylights were replaced in July due to hail damage. Ben, from Storm Guard, assisted with filing our insurance claim and worked with the insurance adjuster regarding the damage. Once permit was issued, the old roof and skylights were removed and replaced in 1 day. The crew took care to cover landscaping and clean up. We would highly recommend Storm Guard.

He was right on time, explained what he was going to do and did a thorough inspection of the damage and the rest of our roof, gutters and siding. I worked with Ben following a hail storm last year to have roof repairs made. While we weren’t able to get a new roof, that was no fault of Ben or Storm Guard. They worked back and forth with my insurance to get soft metal vents and my gutters replaced. All of the work done has been great and looks fantastic. Ben and Jon have both been extremely responsive to any concerns and questions and made sure that everything was properly handled. Ben and the Storm Guard team were also able to fix a loose piece of siding and was quick to check on the roof when I had some concerns. Jon also returned to check on the gutters to remove some left over material and debris. Great customer service! I would strongly recommend Storm Guard for your roofing and siding needs.

Not only did he quickly evaluate and identify the issue but provided thorough feedback and a number of options for fixing and preventing other issues moving forward. Our initial meeting with our sales agent, Sue Dentzman, and the insurance adjustor was very thorough and extensively complete with pictures and drone footage detailing the condition of the roof and gutters.
Sue coordinated with the insurance adjustor and was able to get a full replacement check from the insurance company.
Prior to the start of the project, everything was explained to us in detail.
During the replacement, John, the project manager, was on-site during the entire time. And the job was completed in one day.

We had a great experience with Chris last Fall with the replacement of our roof. After some storm damage to a family member’s roof this Spring, we were able to suggest StormGuard and take advantage of their referral program. Another great experience!

Working with the team at Storm Guard was a satisfying experience. From my first roof inspection through our roof replacement the project was seamless. A knowledgeable staff, high quality products, and professional installation exceeded our expectations. Our replacement roof looks great. Receiving compliments from our neighbors made our decision to choose Storm Guard a good decision.

Our experience was overall frustrating, so the three stars is more representative of the quality of work we received. At the start, working with Ben to conduct our estimate for roof replacement and some interior repair was awesome. Ben was responsive, communicated quickly and clearly, and really advocated for us with our insurance. We loved working with Ben. The work that was done (again, roof and interior ceiling repair) was done well and we had no issues.

The reason for the lower rating, and I have shared all of this with the owner as well, is the communication across the company is poor and made for a very frustrating process. We had multiple days where my husband or I took off work because we were told the work would be done that day, and the crews did not show up. My issue is not why the crews didn't show as that was beyond the control of the company, but my issue is that we were not told they would not be coming. It was only after WE reached out and asked why the crew was not on site yet (hours after the identified start times) that we were told the work had to be rescheduled. This happened twice, a couple weeks apart. This was inexcusable. And sending us a gift card for Amazon did not make up for the missed work and rescheduling of our days.

I would have been frustrated with this happening once, but I do understand things slip. For it to happen twice is questionable to me. Additionally, when the painter came to work on the interior, he did not have the correct information for what he was supposed to do, which makes me question internal communication as well.

Again, Ben was amazing. The work completed is well done and we have no complaints of that. We were told multiple times that what was happening to us with the reschedules and lack of communication was not normal, and I hope that's the case. But based on our experiences, I would not recommend working with Storm Guard.

We had storm damage to our roof, so the roof needed to be replaced. Ben fought hard and long with insurance to get at least partial coverage after they tried to not pay out anything. They fight with insurance so you don't have to, working diligently to get coverage for repairs. The roof was replaced and is in good shape. Even taking out of account the partial coverage by insurance, I was pleasantly surprised with the price for a new roof. Though it is not cheap to replace a roof obviously, the cost of parts and labor through Storm Guard were lower than I had feared.

It was a pleasure from beginning to end working with Storm Guard. They were very professional and thorough as well as accommodating. Ben checked in frequently and answered texts quickly. Insurance and additional financing was handled promptly. The job was done well and quickly and cleaned up nicely. I was impressed with all the contractors who did the work as well as the quality of the job. We did the roof, vents, soffits, facia, and gutters, as well as the window wrap on the two front windows. Any issues that came up during the repair were addressed promptly and professionally to make it the best possible experience/job. I am grateful to have chosen Storm Guard and highly recommend them.
